I then found a smaller shop, nice old guy who did it for $60 and had it done in one day, I'll be taking my 12 chairs to him... I came in to get my watch sized correctly. After they resized it they offered back the watch and…read morethe extra links and started wrapping up the transaction. One of the other team members then came up and let them know that there were still parts from my watch in the back. They then took back my watch and the bag of extra links; It sounded like they didn't know about the end caps for the rod that secures the links together. After a few minutes they came back and gave me my watch and all of the extra parts; the resize was $15. Since then the little rods have been sliding loose/ out of the links by as much as 2-3mm. It also looks like some of the rods are missing their end caps which explains the sliding. If the other employee didn't notice the extra parts in the back I'm not sure if they would have been returned to me. I'm also not sure if this resize was done correctly because of the loose link rods. It could be they were unfamiliar with the brand of watch; it was Seiko, a Japanese brand. If so I wish they would have refused the resize instead of offer a subpar job. Images attached: The rods have been labeled 1-8. I believe rods 1, 2, 4, and 5 have been left alone. I have had sliding issues with rods 3, 6, and 7. An example of the rod and end cap is also included.

This review is long overdue, I've done business with Rich's since they opened but never took the…read moretime for a review. They've always exceeded expectations and are a valuable community resource, one of the few (only?) dedicated gun stores in town. I have bought guns off their shelves, ordered thru them, sold guns to and thru them, received excellent/expert gunsmithing services, purchased ammo & accessories, and received outstanding hands on training & advice. Lee and his crew created and maintain a great, roomy space with cool decor. I have never been pushed, ignored, upsold, or misdirected. Walk-up access to a gunsmith with Lee's experience is a huge benefit all by itself. I've bought elsewhere locally but not since Rich's opened. Rich's also offers an outstanding guarantee on all new firearms and I consider the prices very fair. If my wife decides I can have a new gun, this is where I'm going.
