Building during 2020 and into 2021, we have heard and experienced the supply shortage and shipping…read moredelays excuses multiple times. Covid has legitimately caused these problems for many businesses. However, Creative Kitchenz has taken these challenges and excuses to a whole new level. We started our initial design with them at the end of last year. In February, due to problems our new GC found with the design (our first GC had failed to run an electrical line to our kitchen island and other issues) we made necessary changes and again signed off. At this time they charged a substantial fee for making changes because our cabinets were in "pre-production." We would find out later that these changes were never actually made to the design and our cabinets were no where near production. In May, after no communication for months, we called and discovered that our rep was no longer with the company and were given conflicting excuses including "shipping delays" (they do not manufacture on-site, but outsource their materials) for why we still had no cabinets. June...still waiting. After confrontations, we finally were told that it would be 7 more weeks. We finally had enough and canceled the order before approving the final design--because despite the change fees, they never actually updated it in February. When we pointed out this fact to the controller Nicole, she had the audacity to say she was unaware of any changes. After all of the unprofessionalism, poor and dishonest communication, and abysmal failure to deliver, Creative Kitchenz is refusing to give back our $7k deposit--still claiming that our cabinets are in production, which is absurd nonsense, and that we cannot receive a refund. Management and owner Shad are completely unaccountable and unresponsive. At one point, my husband had Shad on the phone and he bizarrely referred us to someone else to assist with our refund. This person was a builder with absolutely no authority to issue refunds. It is obvious this company is on the verge of collapse and/or bankruptcy. We will be filing a suit to get our money back. Please, please run the other way.
