If you want to eat at a place where you can't hear yourself think - let alone talk Stav's Drinks Eats& Beats is the baby for you.
Beats: The music is so loud you think you are at a nightclub. It sounds like a continuous Mariah Carey Rap sample playlist. We had our Xmas party here and they refused to lower it even a teensy weeny bit because of the need to maintain atmosphere. They did lower it to sing happy birthday to a 3 year old - who hopefully doesn't have permanent hearing damage now.
Food: I'm not sure what food they are really serving but overall it's salty, raw and blah mess.
The platter dips were quite nice, but there was far too little pita bread. Like 3 times more was required so there was a lotta of food wastage.
The lemon calamaria was soft, salty and yuck.
The fakeesh salad was disgusting and not sexy. It should be illegal to have that many different textures in one salad: lentils, pomegranate, toasted nuts and sour cream. Just yuck.
The wog box feta chips were quite nice, but went cold almost immediately. The chicken skewers were ok, but felt like they had been marinated in sea water. UPDATE: Two of my colleagues reported their chicken was RAW!
The lamb skewers were mushy.
Overall the entree, non sexy salad and wog box were just salty and yuck. Have they heard of vegetables?
The dessert was doughnut Oreos, with the doughnuts so oily I wanted to call them pimple poppers with ice cream. I couldn't finish mine.
Wait staff:
Were rude. When attempting to share and eat our oily doughnuts with ice cream, sans any cutlery we were told it was our fault as we should have kept our allocation of a spoon at the start for dessert.Perhaps we should have attended this venue as cave people?
You tried to get the wait staff's attention and they said they would come back to you, but never did.
Atmosphere:
Lack of cutlery, lack of toilet paper ( for the dicks and chicks) toilets and lack of ability to hear yourself think.
Horrible place will never go back. read more
