24 of us went here tonight, yes's Friday night! We called ahead and were asked to come at 5 as that was when they could best accommodate us, so we did! There were already several parties waiting, some for tables, some takeout , this little place is obviously popular with the locals. We were coming from a retreat in the area, from several different area. We were sat immediately, in 4 booths, all treated separately,menus given, drink orders taken. Bread and salads, delicious Greek salad, huge , ham and feta plentiful, would have loved more olives! There was no long wait because of the size of the group as each booth was treated as a separate sitting. We had been told they could not sit us together and we were fine with that! Boy did it work well. Not one of us could eat all of the gigantic servings. I had spinach calzone, good, personally would have liked less sauce and more spinach! But hot, authentic. Others at the table had pasta, lasagna, chicken parm... all were more than satisfied. Service was amazing!! You had to pay in the front of the house, it was a zoo! Our waitress actually got a back up unit to run our check s/ payments. It would have been a better traffic flow decision to pay from the table... it was very crowded. We came here as a halfway point to meet as a family from different cities. It's was perfect! The service, the food, and the atmosphere. We were able to talk, relax and enjoy the afternoon together without being rushed out. We ordered the Greek salad made with shredded iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, tomatoes, peppercinis, olives, ham, salami and homemade vinaigrette. Although I'm not an iceberg lettuce fan, this was really good. Order the small. The medium was enough for three to share. We also had a side of garlic bread. For entrees we got the baked ziti with meat sauce and shared it. There was more than enough for two. Lots of mozzarella cheese made it delicious! A good balance of sauce to cheese too. Other entrees were the manicotti on lunch special and the spaghetti with meatballs, the latter was a huge portion. I think it would serve a family of four! Unfortunately, it was my brother's and I didn't get a picture. The manicotti on special was a much smaller portion, perfect for one with no leftovers. We were so full we passed on dessert, but the display was tempting! Very good chicken parm. Loved the flavor. Just wish for a little more chicken. But was very good. Wife loved their chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Plenty food given. Salad was also better than most for a simple add on. Poor woman was working like crazy and was still very nice and cordial. I'll definitely be back. We did Stavros as a takeout some time ago and liked their calzones, so we recently decided to bringing a group of seven there for dinner. We have driven by many times and noticed that it tends to be very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. So we aimed for a Tuesday and it worked out well for us, as we were seated immediately. I knew I wanted to try their meatballs this time but I wasn't sure whether I wanted to have them as an appetizer and have some other entree, or just have the spaghetti dinner. I opted for the spaghetti meal with meatballs and meat sauce. The entrees have a choice of meat sauce or marinara, but appetizers and small dishes default to meat sauce, so if you are vegetarian or prefer marinara, you may want to be sure to ask. I settled on the entree of spaghetti and meat sauce/meatballs, and it starts with a Greek salad. It looks small, but the shreds of lettuce, ham and so on are dense, so there is more to it than it looks. I had to remove the jalapeño pepper on top, but it was a tasty salad. You also get garlic bread with entrees, which could have been warmer and more garlicky, but it was okay. My wife ordered one of the specials, meatloaf parmigiana. It came as a plate of spaghetti and sauce, and a separate dish of the meatloaf marinara. She opted to take the spaghetti home and ate the meatloaf marinara portion. I ended up taking home half of my spaghetti also. The portions are generous. They do not have a full bar, but beer and wine are available. There are a handful of desserts to choose from, mostly cakes, and you can check them out in the enclosed display at the front of the restaurant before you order one. I am from Seattle Washington and I have been everywhere in the US and I wish I could have this restaurant next to me everywhere I parked my RV! Love you guys keep up the good work! I went back again this year, and once again ordered the special, just loaded with great toppings. I give them credit, the toppings are first class but there is so much that the dough in the center of the pizza just doesn't get cooked. Not just a bit undercooked, really not cooked. I'll try maybe just pepperoni next time and see how that is, but I have to warn you to stay away from the loaded pizzas. Oh yeah, if this happens to you, heat up a large frying pan, drop a couple of pizza slices in and cover until cooked. Once the dough was cooked, the pizza was Excellent! read more

The first impression is local mom and pop place. Mostly average decor but the food is everything but average. Our fist time wife had their pepperoni pizza and I ordered the baked spaghetti and meatballs. They were both absolutely awesome. The spaghetti came with a salad that at first glance didn't look like much but it also had great dressing and all the ingredients were fresh! Huge portions so expect to take food home. Since the first visit we have been back 3 times and each time tried a different dish. Everything we have ordered has been amazing! The service is phenomenal even though they are always busy! After eating the white pizza I will never be satisfied with another pizza ever again! We were sat and waited on quickly . The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere family like. We had the white pizza , spaghetti, greek salad and finished off with the tiramisu. The white pizza was so flavorful and cheesy and fantastic. Our drinks were never empty, our food was tasty and hot. Pizza was OK, nothing special, but too much sauce, which made the cheese slide off when you took a bite. The sauce was tasty though. They have many other things on the menu which is probably why this is more of a sit down restaurant than pizzeria, and I might want to go back and try something else. Husband and I go to Stavros at least once every two weeks for dinner. Just love the Greek salad and pizza. Other menu items are very good too. Waite staff is good too. Very friendly and attentive. However we we went for dinner the other day and when I asked a waitress why they weren't wearing masks, she told me "they didn't have to".We were going to leave when one waitress said she would wear one for for us. From the beginning we believed Stavros management went to extra measures to follow CDC guidelines . We felt safe dining there. With Covid on the rise here in FL. I would hope staff would get back to wearing masks. Thank you to the waitress who wore the mask for us. To management, it's the people who don't wear masks that spread the virus. read more

After such high recommendations; I had the most disgusting & fake eggplant parmesan take out that should be taken off of the menu! I'm from NY and am accustomed to authentic dishes! A traditional eggplant parmesan is medium sliced eggplant that is seasoned, breaded, fried and then layered with cheeses & sauce then baked until bubbly! That's what I expected for $18! Instead I was served an unfried messy mess! It had thick layers of breadcrumbs between the thinly sliced, unseasoned eggplant, topped with sauce & cheese that was browned! My eggplant could not be cut with a knife! It was tough, stringy to chew & the breadcrumbs that was layered between the slices looked like mud! VERY UNAPPETIZING! I couldn't finish it! What a disappointment and a waste of $18! SHAME ON YOU! My recommendations = DO NOT SERVE THIS MESS! For $18 take the time to PREPARE the dish properly or remove it from the menu! Went with another couple and checked reviews before arriving. Was curious about the Greek salad mentioned in a few reviews, ordered the medium Greek salad & it was incredible! I ate every bite (it's big) but so so good. The pizza was hot, cheesy & delicious. The 10" cheese pizza was enough for two & the half portion pasta w/meatball was also enough for two (have to split the meatball), but i wonder what a full portion must look like The best part was the sauce they used...yum! Heard amazing things about this pizza place and since we moved here in few months ago and have had nearly no success in finding a great pizza, decided to give it a try. Hubs ordered a large sausage mushroom pizza and an order of meatballs. Let me start with the meatballs were pretty good. Not greatest ever, but so far best we've eaten around Central Florida. The pizza is okay sadly. The sausage is some sort of bagged, pre-made frozen then thawed type. Mushrooms are canned. The crust was more like bread like and not a crust. I'm disappointed because I was so looking forward to sampling this pizza. So far, I believe this area of Florida is a pizza desert. We will continue our hunt. read more
