I didn't know how she would stay in the chair while they performed the cleaning. They were prepared for it all. A warm and friendly environment that was great for kids. TV on the ceiling to keep them distracted was a nice touch too. Highly recommend for any kiddo!

I never really bother writing reviews about anything or anyone…read more Park Dental is the one huge exception. I am writing this review because it is a rare thing to find a good dentist, let alone a GREAT one. With Park Dental, we have found TWO Great dentists!! (Truth be told -- I am a complete coward when it comes to dental work, probably as the result of horrible experiences I had with our old family dentist that had treated me from the time that I was a child...) With Park (Drs. Jeni & Alice), I never fear going for check-ups / cleanings / or even the actual dental work!! I just wish I had dentists like them when I was growing up. Our family has been going to Park Dental since the days when they were located in Palisades Park. We live in Morris County now, so it's a very long drive, but is worth every mile. Dr, Jeni and Dr. Alice are always incredibly nice, patient, gentle and very caring. I started going to them when I was was single,, then my wife started seeing them after we were married and now our kids all see them as well. They do A-Z, which is also a great thing. (I had a very complex extraction which required surgery, and that was just about the only time that I had to go to a specialist, an oral surgeon) The staff is always patient and polite and they generally find They have handled some very elaborate restorative work for both my wife and myself and really improved appearance as well as dental health. (another big "Plus" is that they never "scolded" me for not taking better care of my teeth when I was younger and have A.S. now, which has required multiple dental implants over the past few years). They always explain everything -- regardless of how simple or elaborate the work is. Their pricing is very fair and that's also another rare thing to find nowadays. My only complaint is that they are too close to the Armenian restaurants in the area and I always end up breaking whatever diet I happen to be following at the time. LOL The last item I'd like to mention -- our kids actually look forward to their routine exams/cleanings. That says a lot! For us to make the drive (close to an hour!), they sure are doing something right !! I'd give them 10 stars if that was an option available here.

My first visit with Dr. Tetelman was one of standoffish with a short and dismissive attitude! This first encounter should have warned me that further visits would only be worst than the first! In fact I ignored the warnings signs in desperation to hold on to what was left of my natural teeth, so I continued to follow up my visits in hopes of being satisfied with outcome of two crowns. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and Dr. Tetelman mannerism continued with his arrogance disregarding my inquiries about two crowns that he improperly place in my mouth. For instance, the two crowns that were place by Dr. Tetelman one crown fell out, and the other crown was so loose that eventually would come out too. Resulting in two unnecessary office visits on ----Needless to say, I am totally disgusted with the dental work I was given or the lack of by this dentist, and after this second visit for these two crowns I will no longer seek Dr. Tetelman services. He definitely does not live up to his 4 stars, and as a result of this I will be apprehensive about all dentist from this point forward. At any rate, low budget insurance, and pay out of pockets for non-metal crowns does not afford you proper dental service as would a patient with top notch dental insurance from this dental office! Also, from my experiences with dentists over a decade has been that dentists are only concerned with money not their clients, and I am left with my dollars taken, and inadequate dental work. Beware of the stars you see! Disgruntle client!
