Dr. Maryz Estedrak definitely knows her stuff and knows how to hire great staff, but she seems to take pleasure when her words bring others pain. While getting my Xrays and Cleaning I could hear the doctor talking with other patients, she is not a nice person. She must have spoken to 3 - 4 different patients before speaking with me, and each time she was condescending, demeaning, and was more focused on securing additional procedures from each patient rather than trying to help them come up with a plan that works within their insurance and financial constraints. 10 years ago my jaw was fractured by individuals that were learning to become dentists, she tried to gaslight me and tell me that never happened... She was argumentative and then sneer and demeaning when I requested a personal copy of my x-rays... I have never had this problem before with any of my previous dentists. (I still have not received them) Why would I want someone who seems to extract enjoyment from her sharp and painful words anywhere near my mouth or be the arbiter of my mouth health? If you absolutely have no other choice, at least rest assured that Dr. Estedrak is an expert and knows her stuff, I only hope her ability to hear and be compassionate can overgrown her need to judge, demean, and feel superior. If it wasn't for her wonderful staff I wouldn't even contemplate going back, but they were so skilled and compassionate, took their time, that I will probably go back for my 6 month cleaning. read more

Horrible place horrible staff an THATS MY PERSONAL OPINION, lady at the front desk is a complete an rude person with no respect at all, she gave my personal number to another patient named ROBERTO an I told her multiple times this info an yet she still was leaving numerous phones calls an messages on my number looking for this guy , this lady is totally disrespectful, an like i said in previous reviews , this was all my experience, as I went back there there for my scheduled visits the lady never even acknowledge me call my daughter an she's only 9, never said hi or hello she never even looked at me , just spoke in her own foreign language to another employee. read more

The entire staff is friendly and even follow up with a phone call after a procedure is done. That is rare, but a wonderful approach.

Dr. E is seriously the best dentist I've ever had in my life! I'm not even exaggerating. My first time coming here was due to an emergency. EverSmile happened to be the closest dental practice from my work that was accepting emergency new patient. I was in so much pain and it turns out I had a cavity. Dr. E took care of me right away. So far, I've been through 2 dental procedures with her: filling and extraction (on different tooth, different time). She's really good at making it as quick and as painless as possible. read more

Maryz is the best dentist I have ever met and I have seen quite a few dentists in my time. She provided me with all the time and attention I could ask for. She also provided me with a detailed explanation for what she was monitoring and what issues I might face down the road with my teeth. She explained that she is quite conservative about doing work and you have a clear sense she is honest and will not rip you off like some dentists who make up work. I cannot recommend her enough. The office scheduled an emergency appointment for me when I was in immense pain. Since I was Breastfeeding a newborn, the dentist gave me options to treat my infection and ultimately performed a root canal. The tooth looks great and natural! The office was helpful in arranging payments. Overall, I had a great experience and am grateful for the care that I received. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a health care professional. They rarely pick up the phone, do not return calls and do not respond to emails. They signed a contract with my insurance company to be a participating doctor, but are stating that they don't know how to process insurance claims for this particular insurance. My insurance company even called them and provided instructions on who to call in order to process claims. It seems like they signed the contract to take the insurance but are unwilling to educate themselves on how to process claims, so instead they give patients the run around and make it the patients problem. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional. I wouldn't trust this dentist to brush my teeth let alone care for my families dental needs. read more

This doctor only cares about money. And their office is incompetent with the insurance companies. If you need something done they don't send in the proper things to the insurance. So if you're in pain and in need of a root canal forget it ..you're going to be in pain. I had to call them at least a few times to remind them that they have to call the insurance company that my root canal was never okayed and that they didn't send in the X-ray properly. The dentist is more concerned with pushing work on your teeth and pushing Bridges if you do have lost teeth. They never called me back, after leaving messages and I decided to go to a different dentist. I can't believe all the wonderful reviews that are on here. They must be all friends of hers or family. Do yourself a favor and know that no dentist gets this many reviews and they're all five stars. Give me a break... people are not dumb. PLEASE go somewhere else because they are all incompetent . I'm due for a checkup but they never even took care of my painful tooth and never sent out the insurance information that they were supposed to. But yet I got a postcard in the mail that I'm due for my checkup. It's laughable. Truthfully save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else ,the dentist is money hungry and all the workers are incompetent. And the first time the dentist did fill a cavity for me she gave me Novocaine and within a couple minutes was ready to work. In a rush. I wasn't even numb. She didn't even want to put the numbing gel medicine before she gave me the needle. Had to ask her if she can give that to me because I am fearful of needles and pain. Go to a dentist that cares. Trust me they don't. And go look at all the wonderful reviews on her. All five stars and noticed that all the reviews seem similar with wording. I don't know how this place has such high reviews, or maybe I just came on the wrong day. The front desk was just okay the staff was not friendly I was called in there with no hello or asking me what's wrong they didn't even ask me to follow them in they just called my name and walked away. The dentist eventually came in and from the moment she sat down and started talking to me she sounded like she didn't like me. Every answer from her had passive aggressive attitude in it, I simply was answering her questions about my anxiety and why I was told to go somewhere else and she goes "I don't know what you want me to do different from other dentists" and when she went to put my chair down I asked her please don't put it so low because I have medical issues with my head and she asks me why and pulls off her mask as I'm just replying to her question and goes "every time I try to start doing work you keep talking is there anything else" all with attitude. After telling her where I was having issues instead of telling me if something was wrong with my tooth (which she wasn't even listening to which tooth I pointed out) she goes and tells me I should get braces? I completely understand we have to wait for my X-rays to be sent over and not much can be looked at or done but I'm complaining about feeling a crack behind my tooth and discomfort not asking if I should have a straighter smile. I left so unhappy and unsatisfied and on top of that the front desk completely forgot to give me my ID and insurance card and I had to spend money just to go back and get it, he apologized which is why I said front desk is okay. I just left Dr. Maryz office and decided to write a review. Let's just say I really dislike going to the dentist however, this office made my visit awesome! I got X-rays and a thorough cleaning (which was long overdue) and yet somehow it wasn't painful! Thanks to all in this office for being professional and at times fun, yes, I said fun! My first experience to this office was lovely. So lovely that I wanted to keep coming back. 6 months later I get my appointment reminder which was great bc I can never remember on my own. So why when I arrive, I tell the man I'm here for my and my kids' appointments. He starts to tell me that there are no appointments for the week so I'm confused and ask why wouldn't y'all cancel the automated appointment reminders to which he responded, "if you don't call, how would we be able to tell you?" Appointment reminders are for just that, I thought. To remind you and if you can't make it, you call and tell them. I didn't realize I had to call after they called me to remind me. Help me understand. And his matter of fact attitude made it even worse. "We called and left messages to everyone that we would be closed" well, no you didn't or else I wouldn't be here wasting my kids' time for their education. An apology would have made this a 5 star review bc it's at least show some empathy and a little respect. Won't be coming back, unfortunately. Push you to do 14 x-rays instead of usual 4 for annual check up and rudely say if you don't want to do it, they will not even clean your teeth. After a discussion they did the cleaning, water was running over my face and neck, good it just take them about 10 minutes.I don't know the name of the person doing cleaning, but it was not Dr. Estedrak. read more

I'd rate them a zero if i could. Went there in emergency due to pain in my jaw and my regular dentist couldnt take me for a couple weeks. Was due for cleaning and xray so had them do that as well. Dentist managed to jab my lip with the water pick. She saw me flinch in pain and proceeds to tell me i should get my teeth cleaned more than twice a year because the buildup is causing pain when she cleans them ignoring the bloody gash in my lip. She then reviewed my xray and told me i needed filling in two teeth next to each other. Few days after getting the filling one fell out. Went back to get it refilled. After that visit, i had constant pain in that tooth. Eventually got fed up and went to my regular dentist. He took an xray and said the filling is fine and that because ive had pain for so long i need a root canal. He examines the xray i had from the year before that he took and said there is zero indication that I had a cavity developing in either of those teeth that she did a filling in. So I had pointless fillings done by this dentist. To this day the crown that i would have never needed to get doesnt feel right and causes issues. This dentist should lose her license. read more
