I gave a deposit of 7600 to secure my spot the kitchen Not to mention I did the entire gut of the kitchen took all cabinets and countertops out tore up all floor and unhooked and moved all appliances!! It was not started until the week of thanksgiving it was to be Monday 11/24 because of being pushed back on Monday nov 25 I contacted him via text and asked if the workers were coming he texted back and said yes and the workers never showed up until the following day 11/26 and started took thanksgiving and Black Friday off. After conversation with him they started the electrical work moving electric in my attic I found out that the electrician was not a certified electrician and immediately questioned him he advised it was under his license(Rodger) the worker got mad and was inside my house slamming tools to the point I message Rodger and advised he was not allowed back he sent me another worker that shows up when they want to show up also no building permit was ever pulled on my house when asking he said he didn't need one I waited 4 months for kitchen cabinets after giving him more money have all cashier checks for total after getting cabinets they ordered the wrong size and had to send it back and waited another 2 weeks for cabinet than asking about my sink being a farmhouse sing exposed was advised he again ordered the wrong cabinet. Everything they have hooked up they have messed up I was without electric in my living area for 2 days was also charged an additional 5,000 because of how the electric was in the fooor the running water in kitchen was hooked up almost 2 months after starting renovation I have pictures of all the poor workmanship as well as text messages stating that this project was to be completed in 2 weeks. It is now march and I have yet to be measured for countertops and as usual when I message he does not respond total I have paid almost 29000 I have had to reach out to another company about countertops and pay out of pocket. The employees were extremely unprofessional and incompetent! Never once did I see the owner Craig unless it was to collect a check!! SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND MONEY DONT HIRE! Proof is in the pictures! TO THIS DAY MY KITCHEN IS STILL NOT COMPLETE HE IGNORED ALL REQUEST FROM BBB! PLEASE SHARE!

They have demonstrated unprofessionalism, incompetence, as well as sloppy work.... Not to mention the owner has been lying to us the whole time. This project was started in March the contract was signed in February and they have STILL not completed the work!!!! We are now at the end of January and STILL not done. The owner specifically said it would take 6 months. Not only that the owner Craig said to me that he would be on site every couple of weeks and I have not seen that man since March. The only time that saw him was when he was picking up a check. The evidence supports that he does not care about his customers. Because of the incompetence and mismanagement of resources we had to take some of the work out of the scope and work with these companies separately adding more stress to my entire family. The generator that was supposed to be installed four months ago has still not been installed. Now we have frigid temperatures and snowstorm on the way so what the hell am not supposed to do if I lose power? What a joke! To me the worst part is he had no regard for my mental health issues. Craig was told in the beginning I have bipolar and anxiety but he did not care. The reasonable accommodations I asked for which included being informed when and where things were being done, were completely ignored. Not only is that unethical it's illegal under the ADA. They should not be allowed to work on people's homes!

Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. Short story: J & J Quality was a real find and we are already talking about another project! if you need a job done right and for a good price, give Wesly and Team a call.

Had to actually get back in touch with one of the contractors because he had forgotten to send me the estimate for the project. Got in touch with W & A construction, William P. showed up on time to have a look at the repairs that needed to be done, sent me an estimate in a timely manner. William and his crew showed up on time to start with the project, got to work right away and I was very happy with the results and the price, repairs looked better than brand new. I do recommend W & A construction, very professional business, will call them again in the future.

Got five competitive bids from various contractors in NOVA. Some submitted responses verbally, some thru Yelp, and others with a written proposal. I prefer to do business in writing so sufficed to say, I did not pick the low cost submission. The work included (1) repairing, replacing, painting... 4 trim areas high up on my three story TH, (2) repairing, filling, and painted two Woodpecker holes high up on my home (3) cleaning. caulking, and painting my exterior rear slider door (4) cleaning all my gutters of debris. I received proposals from $2700 to $13,000... a really broad range. I selected W & A for several reasons. (1) the provided the best value with a comprehensive proposal, (2) they provided excellent references. (3) and most importantly .... They were responsive, patient, flexible and willing to negotiate. Let me reiterate the importance of .....William and Anna's customer service through my evaluation process (1) Responsive : when I sent them email and yelp messaging, , they responded with 2 hours (2) they were patient, through out my 3 month evaluation and iterated with me on my questions and requirements changes (3) they allowed payment terms that fit my requirements. The workers were professional and clean. They were flexible working on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. They even took care of a few other smaller items while on the job. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND W & A Construction for your home renovation and repair needs. I'll be calling them again for other home repairs in the future!! Thanks William for your contracting service.

The owner, Rich Genco was very nice and said he had recently started his own contractor business indicating he had 12 years' experience, was licensed and insured. I have since found out he only had an LLC business license. After 5 months he has not completed any of the projects and was paid in full. Yes, that was my bad, but I felt sorry for him because he indicated he needed money to get his transportation in order and continue working. After that last payment he pretty much disappeared except to show up maybe 1 hour a week, getting little to nothing accomplished. Brand new lighting fixture, a tub, vanity top, and mirror were all damaged by he or his workers. Nothing was ever replaced. Additionally, damages caused by RTA Restoration included sink cabinet, drywall damage, oil-based primer splattered all over my furniture, granite counter tops, bathroom fixtures, wood floors and sloppy applied grout. Not one project we hired him for was ever completed so we had to hire a new contractor to finish. I later found out through social media that I was one of five customers esperiencing similar issues.

We signed a contract on June 28, 2022 (with a 50% deposit paid totaling $1,050) with a start date of November 1st and his wording that follows stated "if completion of any other projects happen sooner and availability opens up, we will be in contact with the client to start sooner but NEVER LATER THAN THE START DATE LISTED ABOVE". We reached out to him two weeks before November 1st to see if we were still on track to start on the 1st. He said he had to double check his schedule. A week later I tried to check back in - no answer. Then on October 31st, he said he was sick. I asked for another date - he said November 2nd. No one showed up. Then he said early morning November 3rd - no one showed up. So due to him breaching the contract, we asked for our deposit back. The 50% deposit was to cover labor costs for our job of installing insulation in our garage... but he didn't have our money, which confuses me as to how was he even going to pay his employees for work if they actually showed up... Anyways, we told him that he has until December 1st to give us the deposit back, and he said "I will have it to you before December 1st". I said great. Two weeks later, I checked in to see if we were still on track to receive our deposit by the 1st, and his response was "mhmm". (All via text) Come November 30th, I messaged him and he told me he didn't have the money still and that he was waiting to be paid from a job. Now I am a VERY understanding person, but to tell me you would pay me BEFORE the 1st then not hold on to your end of the deal.. and not even have it on the date I told him is what makes things seem very sketchy. Then he proceeded to tell me that per his lawyer he should've charged me additional fees (contract fees apparently). November 3rd, we got all but $30 back which I won't complain about but its the principle and we are extremely disappointed in the outcome and how things came out. This whole situation has taken up a lot of our time that we will never get back. But just because we got MOST of our money back, does not mean I will stop advocating for the others that haven't (and there are MANY others). This review is also to people who are looking for work to be done around their homes, and all I can say is stay away from this guy.
