They were professional from the moment I called and walked in to meet the nice owners. They let me look at their limo options and even go inside to check out the cool interior details! We settled with the white Escalade SUV limousine and was extremely satisfied with this choice. The limo first picked the groom (my husband and always + 1 Dan) and the groomsmen at our house and dropped them off at the church. The limo did arrive a little early but was patient and professional. Once the limo picked myself and the bridesmaids up at the Mansion the limo driver opened the doors and was very kind. He dropped us off at the church and waited for us to come out. I wish I remembered his name because he was awesome!! The bridal party, Dan, and myself took photos at the Albright Knox, the rose garden, and Hoyt Lake. It started to rain at the Rose garden and the limo driver let us borrow the umbrella which was appreciated! Status Limousine provided us with a smooth fun ride, good music, ice, and flutes! A couple weeks ago I planned a party bus to the Bills game, emailed a bunch of companies for quotes, Status replied quickly (they also had the best rate) When confirming over the phone as well as the phone call to confirm the week before (2different workers) were so nice! Made it easy, I remember once we got off the phone I thought "Wow, they were so friendly". Day of, Mike our driver shows up-Down to Earth! Mike was so helpful, helped us set up our tailgate, gave us suggestions on where to set up, what area to claim, I even caught Mike cleaning up after everyone!! He helped unload all our crap and load all our crap at the end. We even had someone lose their phone and Mike was very helpful with looking and taking care of the situation. Mike was fun! When I booked with this company I spoke with Ashley, I explained to her i did NOT want a bus I wanted the Cadillac for my daughters event. When the driver ( Rose, who was amazing) arrived she came in a party bus that looked like a metro bus on the outside. I expressed to her how unhappy I was that I was not informed of the change and that this "free upgrade" was actually a down grade to me because I specifically asked not to have this bus! When I attempted to reach out to the company the Secretary Ashley seemed upset with me that I would have any issues considering " they went above any beyond for me" I explained I feel as if this is a down grade and that since there was NO communication to me that there was a change I feel like they have things to work on and a simple apology would have went a long way. Instead Ashley wanted to argue with me via text and offer her feelings and opinion when in her words she is just they secretary! Was given a different car without being notified and without a working bluetooth system after specifically telling them that is what the birthday girl would appreciate most...getting to drive around with her friends, listening to their music. Unfortunately their is no option lower than 1 Star. My group rented a limo for a wine tour. The expectation is that we would all get where we needed to go comfortably and SAFELY. I felt the need to wear a seatbelt the entire time. Steve, our driver, was very aggressive. He was constantly tailgating and on multiple occasions he passed other cars while on two lane roads. At the end of the evening, he couldn't negotiate a stoplight and had to quickly pull onto the shoulder to avoid crashing into the line of 5 cars ahead of us. When my friend got out of the car, Steve tried to make light of the situation saying that since he almost killed us twice he would help carry our pizza boxes and work until the very end. No thanks. My friend who booked the limo service wrote to the managing staff at Status Limousine, but it does not seem like they are taking this situation seriously. Our driver's name was Dave and he was the best driver a group could ask for! We had a group of 30 people for a party bus with Status Limousine for 6 hours to trek 4 wineries all throughout the Niagara Wine Trail. The price was affordable and the bus was excellent. The party bus came with different party lights (strobe, etc), wine glasses, a large flat screen, and speakers to blow up your music! You'd think that with a group of us crazy kids around, it would drive anyone insane. But Dave was very professional, drove very safely, and gave us great suggestions for wineries. I don't know where to begin. The service my husband and I received while booking a limo for our wedding was exceptional with Status. We originally checked them out because our DJ (Premier Sound) was located in the same building and they were more then accommodating to tour us through a few of their options. When we called back a few months later they still honored the discounted rate that they had quoted us at the initial meeting. When we went in to book they once again brought us out to their fleet and we were able to pick the exact limo we wanted after testing out how easy it is to get in and out (remember you are in a big dress and heels ladies). Day of Ziggy our driver was on top of it. He brought a number of umbrellas (typical rainy Buffalo day for a wedding), had a mirror and brush for touch ups and even drove through Delaware Park so that I wouldn't have to walk in the grass or rain. So we had some friends come to visit Buffalo for the first time and wanted to give them a tour of the breweries and a good plate of wings. I admittedly was late in figuring out transportation and Status helped me out when I was in a real bind. They hooked us up on short notice with 5 hours of transportation on a Saturday afternoon. Booked a 29-seat limo bus for an excursion to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. It was my wedding week and my wife's family was coming in from Atlanta for the wedding. None of my out-of-town guests had seen the falls and were really excited for the trip. I arranged for an 11am pick-up at Embassy Suites on Delaware, as most of our out of town guests were staying there. We arrived to Embassy Suites early and gave the guests a quick primer on the scenic route we had planned to Peace Bridge. As a native WNYer, I didn't want to just bus them out of town, so we went through the history of Buffalo and previewed some of the great Buffalo architecture we'd pass before crossing into Canada. It got to be about 10:55 and still no bus. I got worried, so I called the Status Limousine office. The rep on the phone was really nice (as was the staff every time I called) and said she'd get in touch with the driver because, "it's weird - he left a long time ago". The driver calls me directly and says he's made a terrible mistake: he went to Niagara Falls Embassy Suites in Canada for some reason! The pick-up location was pretty clear (Delaware Ave - the only Embassy Suites in the city of Buffalo as far as I know). This was on all signed documentation and common sense tells you a pick-up in Canada is ridiculous. The rep I talked to on the phone even told me they don't even pick up in Canada. The driver apologizes and says he'll get there as fast as he can. That turns out to be more than an hour late. We booked the bus for 4 hours (11-3), and knowing we had tons of wedding stuff to attend to when we got back, I started to wonder if we could even pull this trip off at all at this point. Pretty fired up over the whole trip having to possibly be canceled, I called the office again to see how they planned on handling this. The rep put me in touch with the owner. After completely explaining everything I touched on above, his one and only offer was to not charge us for the one hour the bus wasn't there (thanks for that), he'd cover the tolls we were originally covering ourselves, and he would take off the pre-charged tip to the driver. That, he said, I could decide upon myself and settle up with the driver. He also suggested canceling the trip altogether because he didn't want to go out on a limb that we'd get back to Buffalo by 3pm since the lines getting across the bridge can sometimes be hours long. I told him I wasn't canceling what should've been a highlight for my out-of-town guests and I'd take my chances. As someone that helps to run a service business myself, I was shocked he offered nothing in the way of making up for the inconvenience (and crazy stress) caused by an unbelievably stupid mistake by his staff. I had to call my 74 year father to drive around Buffalo doing our wedding errands to make sure they'd get done since we couldn't ensure we'd be back. Remember that Buffalo tour we had built in to the drive to the bridge? - no time for that - canceled. So their trip to my hometown consisted of a bus out of town. All of that and his only concession was to cancel his driver's tip (no skin off his nose), not charge me for services not provided (the missing hour from 11-12), and he'd cover the tolls. Ridiculous. As the VP of a company that sells services vs. a physical product, I know the importance of ensuring good experiences with those services. We try to minimize the situations where we screw up, but it happens from time-to-time. However, when it does happen - especially a major screw up like this one - we bend over backwards knowing the customer experience is the service we're providing. My experience with Status Limousine was a horrible one. As a limo company, how can you screw up the pick-up location, let alone to screw it up THAT BAD? Then, when something that ridiculously disorganized occurs, you'd think you'd make it up to the customer. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They basically ruined the trip of my out-of-town guests and made me so stressed out, no one enjoyed themselves very much due to the black cloud that came along with all of this BS. By rushing everyone like crazy to hurry up and knock out pictures, we did make it back by 3pm due to no wait time at the bridge. I guess that was a bright spot. We hired them to drive for our wedding and we are so glad we did! The price was the best around and had the size limos we needed. Ziggy was our driver all night and he went above and beyond his job. He has been doing this for many years and know just what to do. We had the big limo bus and he was on time, very friendly and very accommodating. I was the bride and he waited with me while everyone went inside and made sure no one saw me and kept me hidden. He has his pockets stocked with little things I may have forgotten like tissues, tide wipes and even a fan in case I got warm and needed a breeze. When I got ready to walk down the aisle he made sure my train was straight and I was ready to go down the aisle. He found the best route from the church to where we got pictures taken and dropped us off as close as we could get so the bridal party didn't have to walk far. He had an umbrella on stand by because it was threatening to rain all day. He dropped us off at the venue and everything was great. He came back at the end of the night with a smaller limo for a shuttle to the hotel. He was there on time and made sure everyone got to the hotel. He came back for me and some of the bridal party for the last trip and it was a tight squeeze but he worked around and made sure we all fit. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and Ziggy our driver. If you ever need a driver that goes above and beyond he is your guy, you will not be disappointed! I hired them for my bachelorette wine tour and wedding...our limo driver for the wedding was very accomodating...my bridesmaids and I had not ate that much and were drinking in the limo before the pictures...so before the ceremony the driver went and got us subs to eat so we'd have something in our bellies...he even paid for it himself and won't eat his own he got for himself until we were full just in case we were still hungry we could have his...he was a lot of fun and nice young guy! I had two issues with the limo driver. My wedding was on September 30th 2017 and he had the biggest limo bus. First, the limo driver dropped off us guys at the church. The limo driver then drove to the hotel to pick up the girls. When the limo driver got to the hotel, he just waited and didn't contact anyone. My wife(the bride) is calling me asking me where is the limo. So I'm wasting time contact Status Limo about where is the limo. There needs to be better communication from the limo driver. Second, when we were done with the limo, he wanted his tip. My brother gave him a tip and the limo driver said he was $20 short and that he cannot leave without the $20. Again, another miscommunication from this company as I (the groom) was not aware of what amount the tip should be. We decided on Status Limousine after finding them at a bridal show and winning money off during a game. My husband and I went and picked out a specific limo, a large white stretch Escalade with all the bells and whistles on the inside. Everything was great. Our limo driver, Bill was amazing, texted me when he was at the hotel, waited for me and girls to finish getting ready, drove us to the church after he showed us how to use everything inside, and helped to load everything up. We made it with more than enough time and he sat and joked with us while we waited to calm our nerves. Everything was going perfectly.... After the ceremony we come out to find that the limo had broken down in front of the church. We couldn't go anywhere and it also forced the wedding after ours to have to park their limo in a side parking lot because we were taking up the normal parking spot for one. Bill had already called for a replacement and thankfully they had one, and it was similar to the one that we had. We ended up waiting over an hour, which screwed up our timeline of getting photos at canal side and we didn't make it to our cocktail hour onetime like we had planned. We got there with only minutes left. When the limo finally arrived it wasn't white like we had requested, and it was smaller than the one we had paid for. We had picked out the original limo because it had space in the back to throw everything, in this U-shaped seat, because we had more than enough room for everyone in the main part of the limo. In this new limo we had to not only pack everything into a similar back, but we also had to have people sit back there because we didn't have enough room. The sound system did not work right and took us forever to get music playing. And the air conditioning did not work and it was a warm June day (June 10) ! We tried not to let any of this ruin our day, including when we were waiting for the limo. When we were on our Honeymoon, I called to request some sort of a refund, like I had been informed I should get, and the person I spoke to on the phone was very rude. We spent almost $2,000 on this limo, paying for extra hours mind you, and after arguing with her she said they would only give us $300 back. Which was almost what we pid for the extra hours! I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on the phone with the owner. He was even more rude than the girl I had been speaking to! He told me "The groom didn't seem to upset and told me you had only been waiting maybe 10 minutes..." I had to inform him that no the groom did NOT say that, as I have him right here. The owner then proceeded to tell me that because we hadn't made a big deal about it and didn't seem to upset, he didn't see why $300 wasn't more than enough! He said if we wanted he would give us a wine tour, which we declined, e wanted our money back! After arguing some more I finally relented and said I would accept the $300 because it was all they would give me. They told me to come by after the honeymoon, which I would be on for another 2 weeks, and I told him no I wanted to be refunded over the phone. That was another hassle but they did do that for me. Finally after all of that, he had the audacity to tell me "if you ever need a limo again feel free to call us up and we will definitely 'hook you up' next time"...... And before hanging up I asked him why he couldn't just "hook us up" now by giving us a proper refund! Rented for a wedding party 8/19/17. The driver, Steve Sacco, gave us an uneasy feeling from the start. It was for my daughter's wedding and he appeared to try to act like "the cool driver" right from the start. As we started to go it wasn't a smooth ride, hitting the gas pretty hard. We realized we forgot something and asked if we could go back. On a fairly busy road he put the van in reverse and quickly backed up. There were other safe options; a parking lot directly to his left where he could have turned around. Once on our street he accelerated very quickly and drove by our house. We told him so and he abruptly stopped. I told him to stay right there, about 2 houses away, but he said "No, I like backing up" and put the van in reverse and slammed down on the gas. We heard a horn then were jolted by him crashing into a vehicle behind him. Everyone in our van got jolted pretty hard including the bride who bumped her head on the tv as she was seated in the forward facing bench. The other driver appeared unhurt. I gave her instructions on where we needed to go and to have the police meet her and the van at the church for a police report. I told her I was her best witness because this was totally avoidable and dangerous. Steve attempted to apologize but honestly I didn't care at that point. I very directly told him to drive to the church, drive the speed limit and not like an idiot and not say another word to us. Trying to show off wrecked the mood of the wedding party. In speaking with the guys it appears he was no better with them. When they got on he told them "Get ready for the ride from Hell." I guess he's a man of his word because it was. If this is the crap they hire for drivers they have no business renting out for any purpose. The real pain is that the fee included a pre set tip for the driver. He deserves nothing but the unemployment office and if this is acceptable to the business they should plan on closing before one of these clowns really hurts someone. Continuation of this review: It is really hard for me to believe that if you print a review full of truths that the management has the stones to think if they toss a few dollars back to you they believe that all negative reviews will be taken down. This is a forum to express your experience with a company and if you are truthful then the business must use the criticism to improve not pretend you can buy your way out of the criticism. Until I see positive reviews I will not believe that Status Limousine has improved their service. What concerns me is that they find it so easy to ask and expect customers to remove negative posts that it wouldn't surprise me to see a handful of 5 star reviews planted by the management. Unfortunately, the "suggested" tip is due when you are picked up and not after because if it was he would have not received a dime. Monday morning I had to call the company to see what was going to happened and to share my experience with them, the woman I spoke to on the phone told me the owner Mike was not in the office but would be shortly and that he would be giving me a call (this was around 10am), and told me that I would at least be receiving my gratuity back. By 5:30 I still did not hear a thing so I called again and spoke to the same woman's she informed me that Mike was at the shop all day but knew I called and said he would be giving me a call back when he had a chance, I informed her that we were leaving for our honeymoon the next morning (Tuesday). Tuesday afternoon I get a phone call from Mike, and he began to apologize and said he wasn't sure what else to say, he was very aware that we were on our honeymoon and said to give him a call when we got back to deal with it. On August 31, 2016 I called, Mike answered the phone. I asked when we should be receiving our gratuity check back, he was in shock and couldn't believe that I thought we deserved something back. After that phone call I decided to review all my wedding vendors via Facebook, I wrote my review on their page and seconds later I received a phone call from Lori, I had to yet again explain my experience with the company. (At this point I'm annoyed because NO ONE called me after they got into an accident while I was in it, but they had no probably calling me while I was on my honeymoon or because they didn't like my review.). Lori told me that they would be putting our gratuity check in the mail AND suggested I remove my Facebook review - she said I can't make you but we would appreciate it. Several days after we finally received our check I decided to remove my review from their page. A week and a half ago I received another phone call from Status, they asked if I received my check (which they had to know we did because it had been cashed..) after I said yes, the woman on the phone says to me "And if you could removed all your reviews like we spoke about on the phone we would appreciate it." I couldn't believe she said that, I told her that I was asked only to removed my Facebook review, which I did. So apparently they only care about themselves and NOT their customers, never once did we receive a phone call asking if we were okay from the crash or apologize for what happened. The only time I heard from them is when they received a 1 star review/asking me to take down my reviews. I'm not sure how a company can stay in business when they have unsafe drives and horrible customer service. I will NEVER be recommending them to any of my friends who are getting married in the future or anyone looking to use a limo for a night out. Extremely disappointed. read more

It was my fiancé's birthday and we surprised him with 32 of us on the limo.. their secretary called a few days before to set everything up and make sure everything was good to go. Picked us up at 9am sharp and then my fiancé up shortly after. Our driver Linwood was great. Had personality and was patient with us and our intoxicated friends after the game:P. I am not the guy that writes reviews, but felt it was my duty to promote these guys after the fabulous service they provide me and my daughter. The outing I hired Status Limousine for seemed somewhat simple in the beginning, pick up 10-12 8th grade girls from their graduation dance, take them for ice cream, drive them around, and then drop them off in groups (remember this part) to a few of my daughters friend's houses. First, a few days before the outing, my wife received a call from the lovely office staff, asking her if it would be OK to 'give up' the 14 passenger Suburban we had reserved, and take the 17 passenger stretch Cadillac Escalade instead. Being the skeptic that I am, I asked 'whats the catch'. Apparently there was another group that really wanted the smaller Suburban, this group was willing to pay the additional charge required for the Escalade rental, yet pass this beautiful vehicle to my daughter (if you are that person, and you are reading this, THANK YOU! The kids had a great time!) However this is important to mention in this review because Status took the extra time fulfill the other customers request, something that seems simple, yet doesn't happen as often as it should. So fast forward to the night of the event, mind you these kids were being picked up right from the dance, so no parents or adults where there to send these kids off, I don't know the last time you were in a car with 12 - 14 year old, soon to be freshman girls, trying to make a decision where to go in their first limo ride, but just trust me I'm sure it was a handful. The driver called my wife, told her he was picking up the kids, he text her letting her know about a few of the stops, and everything was great, but here is the most important part of the review, remember how the plan was to have these girls dropped off in groups? Well apparently that plan fell apart, and the driver was forced to drop off each girl individually! Imagine how stressful that was! These kids don't drive yet, and I am sure the directions to get to each of the 11 houses was less than satisfactory, so did the driver lose his cool? did he try to hold me hostage for more money? Absolutely not, he continued on, dropping each girl off individually, with a smile and a positive attitude, making an extra effort to make sure everyone had a great time. The ride went 30-40 mins over our scheduled time, yet no one pressured me for more money. Bottom line, the company set us up perfectly, and the driver rolled with the punches as the initial plan fell apart. I would recommend Status Limousine to any looking for a company that still believes in taking care of the customer, has top notch equipment, and a driver that you could trust with your own daughter, literally!!!! read more

We booked a limo for a family wedding to take the young children to the ceremony. It was their first experience for them in a limo, but we felt it was worth the money to give them a fun experience. The entire booking experience was great-everyone was very pleasant that we spoke with and it went smoothly, and they were great at changing any details/timing that came along. We were really excited when the limo arrived and to see the kids' expressions when they were surprised with the opportunity to ride in a limo. The driver was very nice and pleasant to us all. Once inside however we saw dirty glasses, glasses filled with some type of liquid, and were unable to operate any music (only instructions we received were the buttons to operate radio, music and lights are "up there"). After spending half of the ride to the ceremony telling kids not to touch anything and to just look out the windows, we figured we would get help on the way back. Well, that didn't happen either. Still no help of getting anything to work. I called the company to let them know that we were really disappointed that the expensive experience was so disappointing for us and the children. The owner called back and to sum it up said"what would you like me to do about it?" He said the driver was at fault for not cleaning up the inside-which I suspect is true. He then said that the kids must have fiddled with the buttons that controlled the music-and that no one before or after had any issues. The driver couldn't get anything to work either way, but owner said driver should have called JVC to get help. He finally said only thing he could do was to send us the driver's tip back or a certificate towards a future trip. Well, I didn't want to take a person's tip back and I knew I wouldn't use this company again. Why? Because the owner wasn't very nice and seemed to put the blame on us for everything we were dissatisfied with. I was impressed with the limo driver we received for my wedding. He was courteous and really pleasant. Working with the office to book and pay was a breeze. My only issue was having to pay for a minimum of 3 hours when I actually only needed one, but I understand that August is a busy time for weddings in Buffalo and that was proven by the two other bridal parties taking pictures at our location. Do not use this company. The driver ripped me off almost $200 in cash and ruined my mothers 50th birthday. The company only offered my mother 100 gift card i spent 250 in concert tickets he wouldnt let us extend time made my party leave @the 1130 i found out the concert ended @130 i closed my own door the driver said its was an extra $90 with tip for extra hr when we arrived to limo he asked for payment said it as 95 was to pay the boss i looked @the clock it was 1134 so he charged for 5the mins when he dropped us off he asked for tip who asks 4 tip im a 4 diamond lmt i would never ask a client for a tip can u picture your waitress ask for her tip it turns out we never got our full extra hr we only received an extra half hr i called to get a full refund asked to speak with manger didnt receive a call back intil late afternoon stating i would have a $100 gift card i called back demanding a full refund for the extremely poor service i called my credit card today theres no refund and no one is there on the weekend to talk too. I am giving 1 star because the driver deserves something. Paul was great. I am however very dissatisfied with the owners response when I had to issue a complaint. I rented the 24 passenger limo bus for a wine tour bachelorette. The first 2 stops of the trip we had no air conditioning on an 80 degree day. The driver was able to get that fixed. We then completed the tour and when leaving the last stop the bus broke down. We had to pull over approx 6-7 times on the way home so he could get it restarted. The bus would not travel over 25 MPH and we then ended up on a major highway where we broke down twice. It was a major safety issue. We got home 2 hours later than expected and I called the company the following morning to let them know what had occurred. I was told I would receive a call back. After 2 weeks of waiting and no call, I called and spoke with Mike. Mike advised that the bus is still not working properly and is aware that there was and still is an issue with it but will only issue an apology. No refund of any sort "unless i want to give $10 back to each woman" in his sarcastic tone. I have used this company many times in the past as well as my family has. We will not be using them again. I feel that with this being a major safety issue, something should have been done. When asked why another limo was not sent to come get us, I was advised that it would have taken just as long to get us one there as it did to come home.. My point was at least we would have felt safe. Mike - I am extremely disappointed in your business practice. If you know your equipment is not up to par, then you shouldn't be sending it out on the road. read more
