We had a great dinner here! Really enjoyed the shareable soft pretzel with mustard and beer cheese…read more Both the salmon and the grouper were delicious and the view sitting by the window provided a great atmosphere.

Two45 Waterfront Grille fails to impress…read more.. Accidental reservation on my part! My parents and sister live in Erie and I visited recently and I had lunch nearby and it was great. I didn't think too much into the reservation but when I showed up it was definitely not the place I recall (now known as Pier 6) but I recall looking at photos that it would be worth checking it out. We were promptly seated and greeted by the waitress. The lunch menu is brief with a few items in each section of Apps, salads, sandwiches and plates. We opted for the calamari as we heard it was a good app to start with. At the same time we ordered drinks which consisted of coffee, Expresso martini and the aperol spritz. The calamari came out and it was a good amount. However, they were very small and it was dry. We got the perch sandwich and it came out with an enormous amount of shoe string fries which imo are the worse type as they are typically over fried and so were these. Frying a good filet of fish is usually a bad idea and this sandwich would be better served to be grilled when your fries are fried and the calamari is fried too. Service was slow for being an empty restaurant. Note: we had a 4 year old with us and the key is to always rush their food asap so they stay content. Since we waited a bunch of time, we had some ancy people at the table after 1 hour 45 minute lunch where the room was essentially empty. Much improvement can be had otherwise spend your dollars at Pier 6 for a much better experience.

Probably one of the most expensive meals we ever had (in part due to wanting half the menu), but…read morealso one of the best. Service was excellent. The drinks were great. My husband enjoyed the Violet French 75 in particular. The rosé margarita is beautiful and tasty, but I especially enjoyed the amaretto sour. Wish I saved room for the chocolatini. I had the lobster ravioli in a champagne lemon sauce for an appetizer. It's one giant ravioli and so good. It exceeded expectation, as did the lobster mac 'n cheese. It had a creamy beer cheese sauce, but I think I also tasted some truffle, too. I couldn't decide between the two dishes, but the flavors were distinct. My husband had the BBQ pork belly ends for an appetizer, and the delmonico steak with garlic herb mashed potatoes and carrots. He also raved over everything he ate. Great complimentary bread, too. We sat in a cozy booth with a nice view of Lake Erie, but the food and drinks were definitely the stars of the show.

The service was on the slower side all three times I ate here but it is a nicer restaurant so…read moreperhaps that's intentional. Drinks were good and strong. The apps were fantastic. I enjoyed them more than the mains I ordered. The flatbreads are on the small side but my dining companions did say they were good. Overall, I liked it enough I came back more than once time in a week.

My husband and I went to Firebirds for our 49th wedding anniversary…read more Damen was our server, he gave us excellent service! I had ordered the 3 course that included dessert, but he surprised us with an additional dessert, an Anniversary card signed by some of the staff and , most unexpected, a glass of champagne for each of us!! Thank you Damen for making our evening so special!

I didn't like anything about this food experience, was a disappointment especially after reading…read moresome of the other reviews. Decided to order pick up for Superbowl eats. We didn't like anything. Everything was flavorless, and over priced. We had the firebird's duranjo burger. Nice size, but over cooked and not seasoned. The parmesean crusted chicken, although a nice size and cooked perfectly again no seasoning, expected to be able taste the Parmesan crust, nothing.. We both upgraded our side to the southwest au gratin potatoes. Au gratin potatoes a creamy jalepeno cream sauce sounds like a flavor bomb, NOPE, the potatoes were under cooked and not sure how you manage not to get flavor out of jalepeno cream sauce, but they did! The crispy cauliflower with the jar sweet chili sauce was probably the best thing we did have. You can get brunch all day so, I ordered the hipster toast, and I was pictured cat fished. Mine was nothing like the picture, although I appreciate they didn't build the toast for take out and allowed me to do that myself. Still, there was maybe 7 little little cubes of avocado, no pickled onions, no spiced pecans, no parmesan cheese. What I did get was a piece of toast with goat cheese, then a box of arugula, 7 pieces of small small avocado, candied bacon pieces, radishes and heirloom tomatoes. Basically a 17 plus salad on bread. Totally a waste and not worth it. I will say though, the cilantro lime vinaigrette was delicious. But spending over 90 bucks and only enjoying a vingerette and cauliflower, won't have be coming back. Maybe ordering on Superbowl Sunday was a mistake, but I'll never know.
