After my car wreck, I needed to retrieve my personal items from my car. Martin at the Norcross location was extremely helpful and friendly. The entire process was painless and quick. The guy at the yard helped open the back seat so I could get my things from the trunk (Trunk was so damaged it was practically sealed shut) After reading some negative comments on google, I was nervous how they would charge me. However, the price came back reasonable. I'm glad the staff was so nice and treated me professionally. read more

fuck this place they towed my car at night & i never knew till the morning so i called them they told me they didn't have it so i report it stolen cause if yall don't got it and my hoa only works with yall then im thinking someone stole it. then it takes for the police to call them and let them know im filing a stolen car report for them to say "oh yeah we do have it since the morning" fuck these people read more

I needed my Subaru Outback towed from Cleveland to North end of Gainesville . These guys quoted $225, I called Hulsey Wrecker service, and they did the job for $150. So, I would say these guys are much higher than other wrecker services in Gainesville. read more

this has to be the worst tow trucking company i have ever dealt with. mavis had to call me a tow truck because THEY didn't do their job like i originally asked them to and i ended up with a flat tire again this morning after going to them yesterday afternoon. thank God i discovered my tire was flat when leaving my house and it didn't happen on the highway !! Mavis called them at 8:45 in the morning for a tow, they didn't get to me until 12 noon. keep in mind they are located in lilburn and i'm in snellville . i waited 4 hours for a tow truck ! what if i was stranded on the highway !!! seriously i don't recommend this company . they are worst than AAA read more

The quality of service was terrible. The employees at the desk have absolutely zero customer service skills. Very very rude and made it near impossible to get our personal property. read more

Save yourself a headache, don't go here. My husband got in an accident and the jackass police officer refused to let him call our tow company and instead sent it here. I've never had a WORSE experience trying to deal with a petty accident than with these people. If you want to get anything out of your car, you have to sign multiple forms including getting a notary signed. When I went to pick up my husbands things they then told us that there was a charge that went up by the day. Until then, nobody had told us a single thing. To top everything off, these are the absolute rudest people I've ever spoken to. it's a money grabbing business and nothing else. They could not care less about you having a pleasant day. We we're trying to release his vehicle to insurance now and they're requesting us to fill out MORE bullshit forms. Even our insurance was absolutely BAFFLED by the hoops you have to jump through with this place. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

tried to get belongs out the car and was told they can't open the gate because they don't have a way to do so. they said the person with the clicker to open the gate just left and will be back within the hour. it's beyond ridiculous to have a business open but you can't retrieve your items until someone comes back from doing who knows what. I will never recommend this place and I wish Gwinnett would stop sending the cars here read more

This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with towing services. First, the woman (who originally said her name was Cassandra but then changed it to Brittany) was rude off the bat. She interrupted almost every time I had to speak and then cut me off by putting me on hold while I was in the middle of a sentence. Second, she told me that the service provider would arrive in an hour and a half. An hour and a half flies by and NO ONE contacts me to let me know that it's gonna be another HOUR before someone gets here. When I addressed her on her communication, she could care less. I'm completely disgusted by her customer service and the lack of communication as a whole for the company. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB. FIND SOMETHING ELSE. BUT PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE NEXT PERSONS LIFE HARDER BECAUSE YOU HATE YOURS. I will never use this company again and I suggest to anyone with common sense to find someone else as well or you'll be severely frustrated and disappointed. Then when I asked for the supervisor name and number. She said she doesn't know anyone name. How the hell you work there and don't know your boss name. Just trifflin. I definitely hope a supervisor sees this and get back to me immediately. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I called three separate days to see if they could flatbed my car to my mechanic. All three days they were booked, even though I called them early AM. I asked if I could schedule a specific day and time, they said no. I wish they never bought Mayer towing, they were great. read more

I was shocked at the skill my state wide director used to push my Jaguar up the hill to my driveway!!! Their customer service and quick response ratealways turns down a five star with me! read more

This the worst and the most rude people I ever encounter , Im from out of state my daughter barrow my car and got into and accident even with her ID they refuse to let her get her belonging so I spent 2 hrs getting a notary form sign and fax from FL and because her middle name went completely spell out they still refuse to let her get her belongings , what? are you just that incompetent , so I had to go back and do a second notary letter because they don't know that what the middle letter and your name stands for, this is another reason why I refuse to live in GA. don't ever use this company. read more

I had SHAWN come out and tried to help tow my Maserati out of my garage, seeing that the steering wheel was locked and I have no keys to the car, he didn't want to take any chances and called in for help. Statewide then sent out SHELTON and he came to the rescue to help "swing and dolly" the car out of the garage. They actually had to "THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX" to help get the car before being able to put it onto the flatbed. They put their expertise together and CAREFULLY, and I mean CAREFUL TO THE INCHES! To get my car out! Then I have a sloped driveway which made everything all the more difficult! But they did it and I WAS LITERALLY HOLDING MY BREATH THE WHOLE TIME! BUT GREAT JOB SHAWN AND SHELTON! read more

My roadside assistant provider assigned this wrecker service to tow my car. I had never used them before. When they dispatched the tow truck they notified me and my roadside company it would be 1 hour for service to arrive to my hours. After a hour came and went, my roadside assistant company contacted them with me on 3-way. We were told 20 more minutes. After 25, we were told 10 more. Which ended up being almost 30 more. Considering I was told 1 hour and I was only 10 miles from their location I find it ridiculous that I waited over 2 hours for their services. The tow truck driver was nice but was kinda of strange and slow in person. read more

Went to the auction here and it sucked! They take all the radios out of the cars before they sell them. There's a $50 fee to sell your car here and then they don't care about getting it sold all they want is your money. I don't recommend buying or selling cars at this location......and I def. wouldn't get one towed...they are shady. Be very careful! read more

had a car accident and my car was towed by this service, left my glasses in the car by mistake being as though I was rushed at the scene to get off the shoulder of the highway. I called a day or two later to confirm my window I left down was rolled up and that my glasses were still in the car. I was told by a woman who answered the phone that she could see my glasses on the passenger chair and my window was up. fast forward they dropped my car off at Classic Collision and left my car in customer parking unlocked with the keys in the car two days later I called panicking and was told they did not follow proper procedure as far as locking the car and locking the keys in the drop box. Meanwhile my $420 Tiffany & Co prescription glasses are missing. Mr. Dobbs very nicely told me they were not responsible and I should have come get my property. WOW pass blame is an understatement. read more

Called at 11:40 for a tow, I was quoted 2 hour wait, 3 hours later I called back and was told they were still running an hour behind. At that point I SHOULD have called another service... so I waited again and still another hour and a half they hadn't picked up. I called and a woman claiming to be the office manager was extremely rude to me and told me I could always just use another service. At that point everyone was quoting the same amount of time. Finally at 5:30 after calling back again they picked up my vehicle and towed it to my house, but over charged me on mileage...absurd read more

This towing company is very rubbish. Breaking your bumper will require no repair or compensation.

They were so nice! He even dropped me off at work on the way to taking my car in. This service is hard to beat

My car broke down in the middle of an exit ramp and I called Statewide towing, because my roadside assistance company gave me an ETA of 2 hours. I called Statewide Wrecker Service and Ryan arrived super quickly and was extremely nice. He turned a stressful situation into a pleasant one. He towed our car to our shop of preference and made sure we had a ride back home. He didn't leave until our Uber got there. I definitely recommend the company and our driver Ryan. Both are excellent. read more

You cannot count on these people to care about you. Son broke down. I went to pick him up. I am 64, sat in the cold for 2 hours...then the driver called and said he would be there in 20 minutes. No show. Not answering his phone. Finally got him and he said he had to go on an emergency call. Now, I get emergencies take precedence over breakdowns.....but no one calls me. Finally, 3 hrs later, Roadside Assistance calls me...still on hold with them, I had to go home to answer a nature call. Still on the hold, back and forth, finally got someone from another tow company who was reliable and was there when he said he would be. Good luck calling State Wide is all I can say! That's on you! read more

I was in an accident Tuesday morning. For some unknown reason, Gwinnett County contacted this crappy company, instead of using Lance in Lawrenceville. When I called them this morning, they told me that I could come get my stuff out of car, and sign a release so the insurance company could come out and get the car. After driving 30 minutes, they informed me in person that I had to prove who I was and that I owned the car. I gave them my license. Then they informed me that it wasn't good enough. I had to contact my insurance company (2 times) and have them e-mail the info to me. They are doing this so they can commit insurance fraud and charge the company by the day in case I couldn't get back out there. read more

I wish I could make this only half a star. ETA was off by an hour and the dispatcher, Denise, was unhelpful and uninterested. My location was actually 10 miles from their office. I would never do business with them again. read more

I have daughters who have wrecked three of my vehicles and Statewide being the go to wrecker company the Gwinnett county Police call automatically to clear the vehicles from the site, have towed all three. The drivers are the rudest people I have ever dealt with and I'm 52. They do whatever they want regardless of your questions or concerns. They charge double or more than any of the wrecker companies in the area. They don't take insurance roadside coverage or AAA. They continue to do a brisk business because of the police not because they are good at their job. Terrible experience that costs double a normal rate and they have no manners or customer satisfaction concerns of any kind!! They are the worst!! If there were negative stars I'd use that. read more

There is a definite scam being run here between the cops and this company. I ran up $350 worth of fees and I was not told that before my car was towed here after the accident. The cops call the wrecker service and you basically have no choice. Biggest scam in Gwinnett County. To make matters worse the people at the front desk mumble through whatever instructions they are giving you. Dont get your car towed here. read more

Really great service. Although the initial driver had a truck issues, I was contacted immediately. The second driver was helpful, funny, kept me posted and extremely professional. If you're in a wreck, don't have your car towed here unless you want to get hosed to the max. They'll bleed you for every penny they can get, and they'll hold your car hostage until they get it. Definitely not a good choice. read more

NO STARS ACTUALLY!!! This has to be the worst towing service ever! I clipped a curb in my brand new (just paid the 1st pymnt 4 days ago) 2016 Altima & woulda been easy fix with the ball joint & 2 new rims but the driver added so much more damage to my vehicle unloading it at my buddies shop & if it wasn't for my friend seeing the pic of damage before & watching him yank & bounce my car off the roll back we can now add a fender, front bumper, door & possible other stuff. Oh & did I mention the 2 HOUR WAIT FOR HIM TO GET THERE?!?!?! I will never use them again!!! read more

Excellent fast service. If I should ever need towing service again, I'm calling Statewide Wrecker Service.

Having been involved in an accident that was not my fault, I was thrown into the world of police reports, insurance claims, rental cars, and inevitably towing my damaged car to the body shop for repair. The staff at Statewide was 5 stars. The tow truck driver was quickly on the scene to tow my totaled car. Friendly faces in the front office, and the lot guys were amazing. Roy was incredibly helpful. I would give them no stars. What a joke of a towing company. They towed my truck after it was stolen from my shop. They held my truck for as long as they could before notifying me by mail that they had my truck. In the front seat of the truck was the company name and phone # and a insurance Binder with the company name on it $645 to retrieve my truck $195 of it was storage when they could have called as soon as they towed it . The rudest people on the phone and even worse when going to pick up the truck, stood in line for hours to get waited on then they couldn't find the truck. Had to wait till the next day. What a joke read more

Poor, poor service!! Called them through my insurance company Geico around 10 am. Received confirmation of 160 minutes before Statewide wrecker would arrive. 1:15 am, received a call stating the driver would be 30 minutes late. 2:30 called Geico insurance to find out where is the tow company Statewide. Gieco tells me another 30 minutes, at 3:30 I decided to call Statewide wrecker service. I was informed "they do work for the city and I was not priority" I was told by the dispatcher it maybe 4 hours or more. Poor service, but what do you expect from a bone head towing company. One day we'll have cars that won't need idiots like statewide wrecker service or maybe drones can help with accidents. All I can tell you is they SUCK along with Geico Insurance company!!!! read more
