Do not use if you have an above ground pool. They do not care about you at all. We bought a…read moreheater from them. When they closed the pool they didn't empty the water and blamed us that the heater needed to be replaced and so we ordered a new one. They said it was due to our chemicals, which were always balanced. They installed the new heater and cut the liner which caused a leak. They told us they didn't do it. They didn't have time to fix it as their son got hurt. The pool wasn't leaking before the large cut in the liner where they installed the liner. They decided to come out to repair the liner. It didn't work. It was a bunch of blue goop brushed on. Again, they told us it was our problem and the people that installed the pool. I had a pool leak rest of the summer. I didn't pay the second half of the heater as my pool was leaking. They refused to fix it. I had two companies out here to look at the damage. This leak was not due to the original installation. It was from the install of the new heater where the tear was and the repair didn't work. It was an obvious slice where they installed the heater. Also when these companies came and looked at the old heater and they could tell the water wasn't emptied out of the heater when they closed the pool. Communication is horrible, they don't respond. The one gentleman who helps with chemicals is phenomenal, but other than that, the emails they sent me were mean. I paid for the other half of the heater as I had no choice. It was costly for me to continue fighting for a liner. Find another source if you can. They do not care about their customers and they take no responsibility for their work. They only have time for their in ground customers.

The response time, the customer service, the resolution to any of my questions has been spot on, and you would not go wrong working with this company.

Most hot tubs always work when they freeze. The nerve that they asked for a Certified electrician????? Really I have his # for yall (815) 282-5966 He prefers not to have a store for the overhead. He passes on the savings to you.

My wife overheard them say that "they will have problems opening the pool in the spring." The owner or the worker never told us there was any issues with the heater. When the pool was to be re opened the heater could not be reconnected and we have not been open the pool. The owner of the business has refused to take responsibility for the damage and blames the pool contractor that put the heater in originally 20 years ago. I have had to put a claim in against his insurance company. So far they have denied any liability because for a week, the owner of the business failed to call them and when he finally did, the insurance company has to take his side of the story. I either need a new manifold for the pool or a new heater. In any case, I will be filing small claims court papers against the pool contractor this week. Don't hire Absolute Pool and Spas because they are absolutely irresponsible in my opinion.

Even four years later, their customer service continues to impress us. Anytime we have a question or need something handled with the pool, they respond with a true sense of urgency and care -- something that is hard to find these days. We absolutely love our little piece of paradise, and it's all thanks to Poolside Pros. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

It took 2 visits and i wasn't happy. I did ask for help to get to know the filter I had. I bought a house that came with a super pool. I never owned a pool before. I wanted help to get it running. He showed me what goes where but didn't get it going. I guess I was missing parts. So I'll give them that. But each visit is $130 an hour. Total bill was about $700. I was pretty upset because of the 2 visit charge. Kicker is. In this picture it just sits there, not connected. I still can't run the filter. I put a rubber gasket on and the water forces through the hose and blows it off. For a $700 job I'd expect the work completed l. I didn't re contact because I can't afford another visit. I'm scraping by as is. So good communication but they need to listen better.
