Nothing serious, a little bit of garage junk and a bed moving up to my second floor. They confirm a 12-2 window and I figure we're good to go. Didn't get an email confirmation, which worried me, but I figured I'd call them if they ran late. The day comes, the time window comes and goes. I call them to see what's up. The rep that answers can't find my appointment. After a bit of back and forth, they rebook me from 2-4. Now, I have a brother in the ICU and me and my dad were going to go visit at 2, once the job was done. So, this is all really cutting into visiting time. At the very least I get a confirmation email this time. WELL, the second time window comes and goes, so I call these guys again to see what's up. The rep I speak with this time basically puts me on hold immediately then comes back on the line saying the guys are headed right over. I ask him what the ETA is and he tells me he didn't actually talk to the movers. They didn't answer, so that must mean they're on the way. I tell him how ridiculous that sounds and that I'm on time constraints and it's already 2 hours and thirty minutes past the time they were actually supposed to get there. Frustrated, I hang up the phone. It is 4:30. My original booking was for 12-2. Hospital visiting hours are over at 7:30. Five minutes later, the team lead calls me, telling me he had been trying to call me all day, and then accuses me of giving bad contact info on the 12-2 appointment time. I tell him one of their reps booked me and that if someone fat fingered the number, that's on them, not me. THIS IS ALSO THE FIRST TIME ANYONE HAS EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED THE FACT THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THERE BETWEEN NOON AND 2PM. Anyway, he goes on to say that he has to go down to Lowell and drop off some stuff but he'll get to me eventually because he cares about the customer satisfaction guarantee. Outraged, I canceled the appointment. This left me and my 76 year old father to move a king sized bed from his truck, into my house, up a flight of stairs, and into my bedroom. It took us 2 and a half hours to get everything up there and set up. By the time we were done, I had enough time to get up to Concord for visiting hours to end. I spent all day waiting for these clowns and had to do the job myself anyway. Save yourself the time and frustration. Any other company is a better option than this one.

I've ordered bins from Junk King maybe half a dozen times over the past 5+ years. We get one almost…read moreevery year. I like the convenience of being able to order my bin online because it's a big time saver. Most of the time we've just disposed of standard waste (old wood, general recyclables, drywall, metal fencing, small pieces of junky furniture, etc.). A few times we have included yard waste and a small amount of e-waste. I've never had an issue with anything being rejected. I believe the fine print says that if you have any non-standard items they'll bill a surcharge to manage it. Sometimes I'm surprised at the high price I end up being billed, but it's a risk I take considering they don't inventory everything ahead of time. Not sure that is entirely possible anyway. 90% of the time the bins arrive in really great condition and they place them exactly where we've asked. We had an issue just one time with a door that wouldn't latch easily, but the driver figured it out. The bins have arrived on-site and been picked up as scheduled. They also say they sort everything rather than just landfilling it, which is important to me. I'll keep using Junk King.
