My first thought was, "Oh shoot, I forgot to enter the code." That also made me wonder whether I had actually completed the sign-up, so I immediately signed up for the welcome offer. I looked for an option to cancel and reorder my purchase, but there wasn't one available. Since I acted right away, I reached out through the chat to see if the discount could be applied or if there was another solution. Sam responded by email and simply stated that the discount couldn't be applied retroactively. While I understand that companies have policies, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or effort to help. I wasn't trying to misuse the promotion--I made an honest mistake and contacted customer service almost immediately after placing my order. Life gets busy, and sometimes things slip through the cracks. I was juggling personal and family responsibilities at the time, and I simply forgot to enter the code before checking out. I was hoping for a little understanding and customer-focused service, especially as someone trying to make my first purchase with the company. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority in this situation. A small gesture of goodwill or a more empathetic response would have gone a long way.

I thought I would have to leave my bike at a repair shop for some length of time, which was inconvenient because I was only in town for a couple of days. I called Jack's and they said to bring the bike in and they thought they would have time to fix in within my schedule. I brought it in and a very nice bike technician mounted my bike and tried to diagnose the problem. Within about 15 minutes he had fixed the problem entirely! I took a test ride and it was working perfectly. This was a great time saver for me. He only charged me $25 bucks, which I thought was more than reasonable, since I was expecting it to need a complete overhaul. Jack's is a well-staffed and efficient bike repair center (in addition to selling bikes and accessories). I counted at least four technicians hard at work serving customers. The selection of parts and accessories was very limited, and the selection of new bikes was not large, although I know bike shops have been having trouble getting bikes right now, other shops in the area have a lot bigger selection. I am not from Bellingham, and I need a bike shop that I can drop by for quick five or ten minute tune-ups and adjustments when I'm in the area, and Fairhaven Bicycles is not very good for that, I would have had to drop my bike off and leave it even for a five minute or less adjustment. So I'll probably look for another shop to use when I am in the Bellingham area. The staff is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The mechanic (sorry I didn't get your name!) suggested going to Earl's as they carried my model bike and they weren't too far away. I asked what I owed for the labor and he said "you're good." I rode my bike standing in the pedals up Meridian to Earl's and got it fixed. A potential lost ride was restored and I got to continue on to Vancouver the next day.

Hey! Two sisters, 63 & 66 rented two different e-bikes for the day. We rode them non-stop. We…read morecalled Sun-E-Land on a Monday, (during off hours) and arranged to rent two e-bikes. Matt was very accomodating to meet us and rent us the bikes. He explained the operation of them, we tested them and then took off. Getting them was a very easy process. We were free to ride and we rode them to Hovander Park putting a good 30 miles into day and we absolutely loved the ease of riding these bikes. To get there, we rode our our own bikes there, locked them up and took off. The bikes were in excellent working condition, fully charged and helmets and locks were provided. Also, additional battery charger, just in case, but we did not use. What a great way to try out e-bikes and spend the day. Bring a back pack because there wasn't a basket or storage place.
