Sat -- none until afternoon. Sunday none until 10am. I foolishly switched from the Y (open 5am to 9pm daily) because of better pool & because I was told it has great availability. But since availability sucks, do not recommend. Very nice if you happen to be available in these limited hours.

However, in this city rec center I'm hard-pressed to think what someone might want that's not here. Outdoor workout equipment for the few comfortable days we have in St. Louis? An outdoor track? Perhaps a sauna? Renaud has an indoor pool with open (general) swim area, lap lanes, water features, and a hot tub. The gym includes workout machines and free weights. Cycling, rowing, walking and stair machines are nearby. Personal trainers can coach you for additional cost. The gym has multiple basketball courts for half-court play or single shooting practice, plus volleyball courts. A 1/10-mile overhead walking track circles the workout area and overlooks the basketball activity. At additional cost to the reasonable single, couple or family memberships are dozens of classes on health, fitness, personal growth, and entertainment for adults and children. Locker rooms include showers and no-charge locks are available. Convenient parking.

I find CycleBar classes to be transcendent - something about the dark room, the rapid beat of my heart and the sweat pouring down - I can close my eyes and my mind goes somewhere else. It's an experience I haven't found anywhere else. Ever since my foot injury in 2020, I have a hard time running. Cycling gives me the "runners high" that I miss but without the impact to my feet. I've been to 3 of the 4 CycleBar locations in St. Louis with my ClassPass membership. To read more of my St. Louis Fitness Center reviews, check out my blog: https://fitnessfoodiestl.com/

Beyond dissatisfied at how they do business, and it seems like a money grab/scam. **PLEASE…read moreBEWARE** before you give the ok on any membership with this establishment...no one informs you of the hoops & ladders you'll have to go through to simply cancel! Even when you give them notice of cancellation, you will still be charged - as their policy is never clearly stated before hand, which includes a 30 day in advance cancellation notice. In addition, you will have to come into the studio to complete a "membership cancellation form?!?!?" I mean WTF, I have never ever had to do this in my entire life! It's absurd, plus if you have any emergency and need to cancel a ride (even though you've already paid a month's membership) you're additionally charged yet another $15...seems so very desperate for money!!! This is such a slimy way to do business, as you MUST always give clients this type of information during the initial membership sign up process + an in-hand copy of said contract. They intentionally fail to do so, because they're well aware that anyone in their right mind would NOT sign up for this. Again PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!
