(I have been to a lot of sub optimal gyms where I wouldn't feel comfortable hitting a respectable bench there.) Lift STL certainly met my needs. They had many racks & locations to bench press -- no waiting on the sole bench press. They had top notch Sorinex equipment throughout. A wide variety of barbells to meet any specific needs -- including one Strongman log, DBs up to 120#, about all the machines you could need, and lots of turf for conditioning drills. If you need it, they likely have it. Personnel were kind and welcoming & put up with my occasional #OldManNoise while lifting. Facility was clean, easy to get to, & lots of nearby parking.

Turns out that was just an excuse my social anxiety made up in my head. Today I finally walked in, and I'm so glad I did. The man and woman at the front desk were incredibly helpful and kind. They gave me a full tour even after I told them I'd never worked out before. Then I met Nick, the personal trainer. He's young, super fit, and exactly the type of person I would've avoided in the past. But today God had a different plan. Nick spent nearly 2 hours with me, teaching proper form and showing me how to lift. He was patient, understanding, and genuinely cool. I hate talking to people in today's world, but he was a true blessing. He made me feel comfortable the entire time. Overland P.F. really is a judgment-free zone. The staff treats you like family. They don't care if you're weak, tired, or just starting--they're there to help you change your life and take your health back. If you've been on the fence like I was, don't wait. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the coaches, Amy Strahan, wasn't what I hoped for. I attended a class that wasn't beginner-friendly, despite being new to the gym. Throughout the session, Amy repeatedly suggested I sign up for one-on-one coaching with her, which felt more like a sales pitch than genuine guidance. It left a sour impression. That said, I'm not giving up on Nutiformance. I plan to return and try classes with other coaches--I believe there's a lot of potential here, and I'm hopeful my next experience will be more supportive and aligned with my fitness level.

They said they gave it to the front desk and to go to the front desk to claim it. The first person I talked to ignored me then didn't even look and just it wasn't there. So I went to talk to a different person. He told me to go talk the man I had previously talked to. I told him the other guy hadn't looked and politely asked him to check he said and I quote "man I don't even know you, if you gonna disrespect me leave".

Rude front desk staff ruined the experience…read more On June 21 around 1 PM, I came to the facility with my sisters, excited to enjoy a swim. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was at capacity--which is completely understandable. What wasn't okay was how the front desk staff spoke to us when we arrived. Instead of simply informing us the pool was full, the woman at the desk said, "Y'all was ready to go swimming, huh?" in a tone that came off sarcastic and dismissive. It felt like we were being mocked for just showing up ready to enjoy the amenities. We didn't cause any trouble--we just wanted to enjoy our day. But that comment and her attitude made us feel extremely unwelcome and embarrassed for no reason. That's not how guests should be treated, especially not when they're following the rules and coming in with good intentions. We ended up going to the outdoor pool instead, but the interaction at the front desk stuck with me. A little professionalism and courtesy would've gone a long way. I hope management seriously considers retraining staff on how to speak to guests respectfully--because this was a major disappointment.

Most of the staff that works at the facility are very cordial. The facility is kept clean and orderly through the workout areas and in the restrooms. The equipment for the most part it's always kept in good working order. I only have two complaints. 1. It will probably be nice if they had hanging punching bags. (Suggest these could easily be installed in one the 2 class workout rooms). 2. The music is played extremely loud at times. Other than those two issues I would highly recommend the facility.

I still go to all 3 because of how my schedule and location works. The Les Mills classes at this location are my favorite. I have noticed that this location gives more family vibes than the other locations. However, I will say all 3 locations have a great kids club. I love how they all remember my daughter's name as soon as she comes in. That helps her feel more welcome in the environment, so that's a plus. I wish there were a way to get updates through the Edge app when the kids club is closed or when a class is canceled
