This pool is great for just one person to get the tan on or bring your family! They offer season tickets which are more than affordable & if you live in Crystal, the passes are discounted. For $6 a day as an adult, this will get you in! 65+ years old will get you in for FREE! They offer adult swims in the morning which you can pop into if you don't want to listen to kids. The life guards were on it. They make sure you can swim & do a swim test before letting you on the diving board & the deep end. Definitely recommend!

It makes the pools less crowded, and I'm sure is easier on the lifeguards and maintenance staff. I have no complaints about my time actually poolside. However, I am knocking a star for their terrible online ticketing website. It appears they limit non-resident passes to twenty a day, which makes getting put into a que and then taken to another page, which was finicky, to pay with credit card quite annoying and also nervemaking, as I worried we had driven out for nothing as the number of tickets left went down... Anyway, I was impressed overall. Not sure I'll be back out before it closes for the season (mid-August, which seems early), but I was happy to invited once!

Its 44 acres include an outdoor aquatic center, baseball/softball diamonds, large playground (with rubberized surface), tennis/pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, football field, Ben Rau floral garden, picnic pavilions, and hiking trail. In winter, a park hill provides snow sledding. A serene spot in the park is set aside for the Angel of Hope statue, a memorial to all parents who have experienced the death of a child. Each December 6 an evening candlelight memorial service is held here.

It is a little jumbled. So might want to go down the next road. Pool entry is on the left hand side. They accept debit/credit and cash. Their new system was a bit bogged down. Prices did go up a couple of dollars for residents and non. They have the ample space for adding more chairs. I felt like they definitely were at capacity at one point. Some folks had to put their towels off to the side of the large leisure pool. Concessions area is between the restrooms. Prices seemed decent. Did not try any food. Maybe next time. You take your food to the shaded eating area. They still have the diving board. The kiddie pool is expanded and they have a waited area. They added two slides for big kids and adults to enjoy. Overall not bad. They definitely could add more lounge chairs!!

My kids always have a great time and they have a nice little snack bar. I love that this pool is affordable and accessible to Mid County and I'm sure we'll be utilizing it many times this summer.

There are also two larger pool areas but the day I was there I believe there was a swim meet so there were around 100 people crowding the perimeter of the pool and I did not even go in that direction. I've been in years past and used that pool just fine without the crowd. However I will say if your child is a recent walker, expect some slips and falls as he or she enters the shallow end of the pool and even while playing there. For this reason I will not return with my little one who recently turned one years old even though she has been walking since eight months and does just fine in other shallow ends of different pools. But even I was slipping on this particular one. Poor choice of sealant. I gave it four stars despite this because the 8 year old child with me had a wonderful time.

The pool is less crowded this year and although they still need…read moreto hire more lifeguards, they are doing a better job of staying open consistently so far this season. The pool needs to be skimmed more often and the lifeguards still do not keep people that are not swimming laps out of lap lanes like they should when they are being used. They let people just hang out and they are constantly getting in the way. The lifeguards I have met are very courteous though. Ryan and Caleb especially. They do a good job guarding and enforcing the diving board rules.

Located next to the Maryland Heights Aquaport, this is a great place to get in shape or attend a community meeting.
