This past Sunday, I accidentally ordered the wrong size weight pockets and dropped them a line asking that they please call me, because of my mistake. I received a call the next day, Monday, letting me know that they had already found the weight pockets I needed, even though they weren't listed on their site, and they could have them sent out that same day. Here it is Thursday morning and my weight pockets have arrived, as well as stickers and lollipops. I look forward to purchasing more gear from Woodlands Dive Center in the future.

Beatrix was so sweet and understanding and encouraging, giving us advice about safety and signs to use to signal if there is an issue like leg cramps. She checked our new equipment and gave us advice about them. After two fun lessons, we feel confident in the water thanks to Beatrix.

You will find no one better than T&C. I was immediately sold on Town and Country from day 1 and it is purely because of Emil Hermis, our builder. I filled out a request for information and within an hour Emil came to our home and began designing. Emil immediately struck me as a man of integrity, dedication, and very knowledgeable. My first impression was not wrong, Emil is a master of his craft and every single detail mentioned was delivered upon with perfection. I cannot begin to describe how grateful and thankful to Emil we are. The contractors used by T&C are top notch. There wasn't a single crew that worked on our pool that wasn't simply amazing. All were incredibly friendly, respectful, diligent, and hard working. The quality and skill every single crew brought to the build cannot be understated.. and they did it in 100 degree Southeast Texas heat. I cannot stress enough to a potential pool buyer, take care of your crews working on your pool. It is boiling hot outside and these guys do not take breaks, get them Gatorade or water. It doesn't take much to take care for the people giving you their all in our weather. We love our new pool and could not recommend Town and Country enough. We will absolutely be repeat customers if the next home we buy needs a pool built. Thank you Emil, thank you Town and Country!

We were worried swim classes might scare her, but it has been wonderful!! The one thing this place has locked down is ORGANIZATION. The place is huge and has a lot of…read moreswimmers. Although it looks chaotic, they have a great system to keep things under control. The front desk has two people working, so even if one is on the phone, you are greeted by another member. Everyone I have encountered have been so friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Once you are signed up, they give your child a color specific wrist band, so the instructors and staff members know where to direct them. All the instructors have customized shirts with names on the back, which is super helpful to me because I can't remember faces as quickly. They don't make it a point where they speak with you after every swim lesson to give feedback on your child. However, towards the end of the week session or however long you signed up for, you are allowed to go to the other side of the pool and watch your child and then you can ask and/or discuss whatever you want. When I signed my son up, he was in for an "intense" weeklong session where he went every day for 2 weeks for 30 minutes a day. He started off as a "guppy". He did the session with 2-3 other kids, so technically I was paying for only 10 minutes of swim time. However, it was still worth it because he was young, and I think seeing other kids swim helps comfort him and gave him confidence. He cried on the first day, BUT his instructor, Miss Mary Lou was super sweet and was able to calm him down. At the end of the session, he was all smiles and couldn't wait to come back. When I signed up, my son got a shirt and a booklet. That booklet is super cute and helpful! It's a fun comic for the kid, but it also tells me what to expect because they basically explained everything in there. I'm telling you, their organization is great. They thought of everything! After the guppy session, he was advanced to the next level: goldfish. We transitioned to him swimming 1 day a week with other kids again. However, when private lessons popped up, we switched. I highly recommend private 1 on 1 sessions because you get the whole 30 minutes. The instructors do teach the entire 30 minutes and never stop a minute early, which is nice. You can rest assure you're paying for the entire time. I like the private sessions because I feel like my son was able to learn more. Mr. Luke was his private instructor, and he was awesome. He pushed him, which I appreciated. Of course, when my son showed signs of fatigue or was overwhelmed, I saw Mr. Luke adjusted his methods a bit, but he didn't "baby" him. The place has lots of changing rooms and a huge shower room for the kids. There is also lots of places for parents to sit and watch their child. Although a lot of people come and go, it doesn't feel overly crowded or claustrophobic. When your child passes the float test, they have a super cute tradition where the child gets to place their handprint anywhere on the wall and write their name. It just makes the child's experience more special and memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this place! This was a great place for my son to start off learning how to swim.

The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and the beautiful surroundings make it a great place to spend a summer day. There are plenty of shaded areas throughout the park, convenient concessions when you need a snack or drink, and the location is easy to get to. I also appreciate that there are lots of lifeguards on duty, which makes it feel safe for families with kids. The biggest downside is that it gets crowded very quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. While there is a good amount of shade, there still isn't enough for everyone once the crowds arrive, and you'll definitely run into a few "shade hoggers" who claim large areas early in the day. If having a shaded spot is important to you, plan to arrive early. Overall, it's a great value and a fun place for families--I just wish there was a little more room to spread out during peak times.

Attended the Pumpkins and 'Possums event tonight and was wowed by the amount of education and…read moreinteraction with the animal ambassadors. Willie is by far my favorite as I'm an avid opossum lover. Such great animals to have visit your yard at night. I welcome the free pest control from a very misunderstood marsupial. We were able to pet Willie (highlight of my visit even if he "played dead") along with a milk snake and a striped skunk named Ambrosia. The variety of owls here are amazing & beautiful from screech owls to barn to barrel. Before walking the grounds there was a trailer that housed lots of hands on learning (animal pelts, foot prints, scat varieties, skeletons a plenty, taxidermy scene). You can tell that this facility invests in proper care for the Texas wildlife it rehabilitates and houses as well as does an exceptional job educating the public. There was plenty of parking with overflow parking being located in what looks like a shared lot with the church. Definitely look forward to coming again during another one of their events or classes.
