Since taking our deposit, he has missed multiple promised start dates, stopped answering texts, and completely ghosted us. Whe he finally responded to our demand to have our deposit back, minus the cost of supplies and an afternoon of work, he replied that "he did enough to earn the money". We have filed a contractor fraud report with local law enforcement, opened a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General, and submitted a claim through Angi's customer protection network. Several people who have had problems with other contractors in the past told us we should replace the siding because paint would not stick. The owner Rod is very knowledgeable about paint chemistry and assured us he could do the work. The surface preparation, primer and coatings he chose worked very well and we have had no problems with peeling or delamination, even with annual pressure washing. Since then, we have hired Airway for all our painting needs including complete interior repainting of walls, doors, trim and cabinets. Rod was very helpful in suggesting color schemes and sheens. The products and coating systems he chose for us are durable and easy to clean without scratching. In addition to quality work, Airway paid close attention to cleanliness and protection of our floors and furnishings.
