As I bumped into the owner (Melanie Guzman) of this establishment yesterday I was reminded why…read moresmall town reputation is so important especially for businesses. So I decided to write my experience with this daycare so other parents dont go through what I experienced. BEWARE the daycare facility who does an intro walk through of the facility only after hours. Meaning you cant see the children or the staff. I came in and thought the place was clean, well lit, and organized. I met the owner and she seemed professional as if shes been doing this for a long time. Side note: She then shared how her husband was waiting outside to pick her up. I enrolled my daughter and paid half a month on March 3, 2026. I brought my daughter in for her first official start day on March 4, 2026. That is when I noticed a male staff member in her class room. I left my daughter for a few hours and picked her up as a trial run since I had never left her at daycare before. I then on the same day sent a message to the owner inquiring on the male staff member and letting her know that my daughters father would not be happy knowing there was a male changing our daughters diapers and personally it was also a concern for me. Melanie called me the morning of March 5 and told me that the male staff member is her husband. They have 3 daughters and that the kids love him there. She then also stated that she would not be making any special adjustments as far as who could or couldnt do certain diaper changes on account of a parent's comfort level. She also stated that she didnt want me making any parents or her staff feel uncomfortable and stated that we just might not be a good fit because she didnt want issues in the future as far as complaints being made etc and that she had every intention on hiring more male staff because they were "inclusive." I somehow felt so uncomfortable that my own discomfort seemed to be an issue that I was somehow causing to others and felt bad about even bringing it up. I then told her I'd process everything and get back to her. The next morning Friday March 6 I tried talking to her about the situation during drop off and she seemed so uncomfortable that I'd say something and kept looking around the corner as if someone would come out and hear me that I decided to cut the conversation short. That evening I was sure that we were not a fit and decided I would look for another option as I started work on March 9. By sunday March 8 I sent Melanie an email letting her know that I agreed with her and realized we were not a fit and that I would be pulling my daughter out immediately. I did request a refund for the remaining time my daughter would not be attending. Her response was that the handbook policy states that we needed to provide a 2 week notice and that if anything I owed her money but she wouldn't be charging me. She however failed to state that in the same handbook it stated that she had a 10 day introduction period to see if the family/student was a good fit for the daycare or not. My daughter had only attended from March 4-6 with an email asking to remove her on Sunday the 8th. She then said that she had pictures of teachers on the wall and that this should have been brought up and spoken about during the intro walk through. However Melanie completely failed to show me any teachers photos on the wall. I asked her on multiple occasions to handle this amicably but she just handed me off for someone else to deal with me. As a single mom who is doing her best to ensure her daughter is well cared for and protected I find this to be a poor business transaction. Instead of providing reassurance or transparency to my concerns, I felt they were dismissed and instead was encouraged to reevaluate if we were a good fit for their facility. Hope this helps any other parents before choosing a facility or any other that dont allow you do walk throughs to meet staff ahead of time.

Their classrooms are flanked by two different outdoor spaces so children can explore their environment safely. There are sand boxes, a garden greenhouse, fun play structures, rotating theme pretend area, and a shallow creek to play in. Special guest appearances from some animal friends and librarians make their days exciting. We really enjoyed their annual Art Show where all the kids can show off their creations to parents and loved ones. Every teacher and staff members are incredibly kind and talented. We've made great parents friends and have plans to send our younger child there when the time comes. We feel lucky to have found Little Wings and encourage anyone looking for quality preschool education to set up a meeting with their team. Their director, Dani Burg, runs an incredible program that brings the best out of their students. She's also is fluent in Spanish!

Dani and all of the staff are friendly and well qualified. They have a handy app so you can get photo updates on what your child is up to during the day. The facility is cozy, clean, and accommodating for atypical children and typically developing children alike. I love that they have the children eat snacks and lunch outside and play outside as much as possible when weather is accommodating. I highly recommend Little Wings to other parents searching for a friendly, happy, and learning centered place to have their child[ren] attend preschool! I can't say enough good things!
