The sides and appetizers made up for anything lacking in my book. But probably as important as great tasting food, the entire staff was as nice and helpful as they could be. The restaurant is small and not at all fancy but the place exudes with pride of ownership and a desire to please their customers. My family and I went at 10:00AM on Saturday for breakfast. The location, though slightly off the beaten path, impresses with shaded parking. Inside, everything looked clean and the shades were mostly orange, making it feel like a good place to eat breakfast. Though the service was great and we were treated with the nicest of gestures, the food itself took too long. Inside, there was only 1 other family when we arrived. Our waiter arrived, took our drinks, then after he brought them, we all placed the orders. The family before us was already eating. It took close to an hour for our food to come out. Two family members ordered coffee. I ordered some too, but it was decaf. At around the 30 minute mark for waiting for our food, a young kid came out offering coffee refills. He filled my mom and sisters coffee and tried to fill mine up too. I asked him if he had with him the decaf for regular coffee and he said, "Yes." Then he left and didn't refill my decaf coffee. More and more customers started arriving and it seemed as if they were understaffed. I would have taken away another star but to be honest, the food was good. The presentation of all plates were great too. However, the tortillas we were given were already cold. I tried to flag down a waiter to ask for warmer tortillas or flour tortillas, but we couldn't see anyone in the lobby. By the time someone came, all of us on our table had finished our meals and we didn't need tortillas anymore. I would love to go again and have a better experience. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and update my review, but as it stands, I give it 3 stars.

I was a little disappointed with what I got though. There was no powdered sugar, they did not provide any syrup (on the side would have been good), and it was generally bland. The sausage patty I am almost certain was the same you could find at the grocery store, Jimmy Dean sausage pattys, they come in 8 packs... Unlike just about anywhere I have had breakfast, including side of the road diners in the middle of nowhere I was not offered a refill on my coffee. I should've asked though because I was double charged for all the drinks at my table. They were only $3 each (the coffee too) so not a big deal. As for ambience the place has a really great vibe and they even had a performer playing spanish guitar. The place got pretty full but I am not sure why. I don't plan on visiting again and I cant give my recommendation for them with this experience but try them out if you will. You may have a better experience.
