We ordered 2 pizzas and 1 calzone. 3 bags of chips (chips are 1.50 extra) and 3 drinks. Total was $40. The food was delicious and the portions were big. We each got boxes to take our leftovers home. There wasn't a lot of people when we went so it was nice and quiet and service was quick. The music was good too. I'm curious to see what it would be like on a busy day.

Once again no biggie as it gave me extra time to enjoy my food. The restaurant was clean & quite busy for 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. Definitely worth trying out!

Or if you really want something special try one of their desserts; my favorite is the oatmeal, walnut cranberry cookies. They also have a delicious brownie or cheesecake. This is a great place for business lunch meetings. While there is background music, the music does not dominate and hinder conversation (one of my pet peeves with other restaurants). Prices are moderate and the food is high quality. I highly recommend them.

Make sure you download their app as well because they run occasional freebies and promotions. My main gripe about Tropical Smoothie Cafe is their prices because most smoothies end up being around $8 after taxes. They do use fresh fruit and ingredients, which can help justify the prices. If it's your first time here, definitely give the Mango Monsoon or Detox Island Green a try; they are both refreshing and flavorful! I also tried the Cali breakfast flatbread with grilled chicken, and it was toasted well and flavorful. There wasn't much grilled chicken included, and there could have been more avocado as well. Overall, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a good addition to Edinburg, so keep an eye out for any promotions that they run!
