I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. Let me preface by saying the choreo was cute and fun and I would take Brittany's jazz funk at least once again (elsewhere). However, class was a mess. I will not be coming back here unless the students learn some concept of window blocking. It was amazing to see sooo many students show up but there was not enough space to comfortably learn the combo. The TV monitors would have been helpful if it wasn't mirrored. The check-in process was also distracting. The guy walks around to ask each person their name during the inopportune time of us learning choreo. Maybe do that during warmups or upon entrance. Also maybe please consider putting a max on class signups! I thought these were adult classes but apparently littles are allowed to join too. One plus is professional filming and it's uploaded within hours that night!

I do think the Beginner Ballet sessions are on the short side (they are only 45 mins) and as a result are better suited for people looking to refine their technique than complete beginners who need to build foundations. Strength and Stretch is also probably best suited to experienced dancers, as the class has students doing crunches for consecutive minutes with no breaks and going into straddles, side splits, and advanced yoga poses with very little preparation and no modifications (this class is also only 45 mins, so warm up and cool down are quite brief). I would rate my experience as a novice to dance as 3 stars, but more experienced dancers may get more benefit from these particular classes, and it seems the ballroom classes are much more popular and well reviewed. This is a convenient location right off Foothill Expressway with ample parking in the back. There are classes in other dance styles (especially ballroom) almost every day of the week, so I may try those another time.

We are not long with the dance center but after watching the recital, I am really happy with them…read more We discovered this dance center during COVID pandemic where the kid has more time after school and it's nearby where we live. We joined midway of the school year around March. Being a total newbie, I emailed the dance center and got a really detailed explanation and some videos for me to decide what level I should sign my kid up for. They had classes outdoor in person as well as online. During the program, Leann, the center manager is always helpful to my questions. Turns out she's one of the great dance teacher too! The dance recital was in June and it was held in the park nearby. I like this setting for kids because the kids can watch all other dance performance and be exposed to a various kinds of dances. The teachers are very accommodating for the little ones. There's a little one crying before getting on the stage and the teacher picked her up and danced the whole song on stage with the kiddo in her arms! They have performance teams going for competitions and you can see the skills are a bit better than the regular classes. I would say the focus of this center is not to get winning is so many competitions, but more on getting the kids to enjoy dancing and get them moving. My kid joined a hip hop class with Veksler when she was 5 and she wasn't into it as it was much more focused on the performance. Now that she's older and we let her try Jazz and she likes it much better, so I'm happy of the result.
