This place is heavan on earth for the injured and ailing. You'll get a warm welcome upon walking in, shown to a table, and treated with professionalism and respect. The team of skilled DPTs and Physical Therapy Assistants here truly give you all their attention. I've had lots of injuries over the years, including scoliosis, back and neck injuries, Carpal tunnel syndrome, and more recently, two torn ligaments in the knee from a ski accident, and a work injury that led to labrum tear surgery in the shoulder and bicep tenodesis. It's easy to feel distressed and discouraged at the onset of an injury, but here, you'll get lots of love and care. I've been to many other PT offices throughout the city where they have 6-8 patients assigned to each therapist at a time. Elsewhere, you won't get the individualized attention they give you at Professional PT. Therapists elsewhere were overloaded with patients and couldn't attend to patients the way the staff at Professional PT (225 Broadway) can. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly, and will make the paperwork effortless. From the moment you get evaluated, they show genuine concern for your health and well-being, offer optimism and expertise, and consider each patient's individual needs. They are ridiculously thorough in the approach to treatment, and focus on you while you're there. They're always watching you while you do the exercises, and will gently guide you to correct form when they see your form could be better. They work well together to ensure each patient is getting an optimal team approach, offering encouragement and kindness, compassion, and reassurances. The therapists make sure you get exercises to do at home, and move you forward in your progress with each visit. When I come here, I feel safe, happy, and confident that I'm in good hands. I trust these professionals. They are experts in the physiology and mechanics of the body and love what they do. Each therapist really cares and knows what they're doing. The therapists here (Melanie, Mike, Jonathan, Eric, Solange, Sarah, Danielle, everyone) have a deep interest in their patients' recovery process, and they are commited to helping you get to a full recovery. I couldn't recommend a better PT office in NYC. Professional PT is the place to get better. The young, hip staff also get along well, maintain a light-hearted atmosphere, and play great music! I love it here, and always leave this place 100% satisfied. You won't be disappointed. read more
