But, aren't these the best places for some food? The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you're new. There are a lot of options. But, to an adept foodie you quickly find what you've been craving. I ordered 3 sandwiches: The Joker & The Thief: -the pastrami is cooked in their Joker sauce. I had it on a toasted French roll. Added mayo with some pickles! I also opted for "The Thief" which is added cubed BBQ Brisket for +2$ dollars! I smacked that thing down in the car so quick. What I mean to say is, I took the first bite and all the flavors came together perfectly. I could not put the sandwich down. I ate the sandwich so fast I may have lost a little oxygen to the brain as I inhaled the sandwich. Now, I'm contemplating how I can come back to order another sandwich one I live 5hrs away. I still have 2 more sandwiches for the ride home. One is the Green Shack sandwich (Turkey, Avo, & Bacon) and a chopped sandwich Don't judge me.... Yeah I'm an under cover BIG BACK. Anyways - This is a must try if you're in the area. I came in on a Friday and there was a wait. But it was definitely worth it. As I walked out I found $15 on the sidewalk. Keep your head on swivel there is a lot going on in the neighborhood. I give the place 5 Stars well deserved. "I'll be back!" - Terminator Voice

Great get seated after 2 big parties. Also in a booth in the bar area. Very nice booth. We were sat without menus first. Luckily a nice bartender I assume gave us menus. Nobody came for at least 5 minutes as we decided on drinks and all are food. Finally got a server, ordered everything because we were ready. An appetizer, a salad, and paella. To share and each a cocktail. Sooooo the appetizer comes. And we're waiting a few and then a few turns into 10 minutes. We are almost done with our appetizer. No server in sight I look over to the bar no drinks. So I go up to the Hose stand to ask where our drinks are it appears there might've been a manager there, but they ran away. The host said where are you pointed at our table. Got our server. She came over to let us know that they were waiting on juice. We now have our second course and luckily our drink. I probably would've ordered another cocktail, but it was already 25 minutes into our meal. So I did order finally a glass of wine. To go with our paella. We had a tomato salad with that was lacking in flavor and very underwhelming. The paella comes we have the seafood one. It is hot. It is also overcooked, and I saw no calamari and we had very little seafood. I would say this was not the best paella I have had. Which is unfortunate as my friend kept saying this is the best she ever had when she had been there before. I asked her if she ever had been to café Seville. Where they have what I consider the best paella. But this is also Temecula so I really don't expect much from this area. They were very busy so maybe I just had a bad moment and I hope that that is true and everyone else has a great experience there. I wish a manager had been present to be aware of what was happening on the floor during a possible breakfast to lunch transition

Up in Santa Barbara, Fess Parker used his Daniel Boone Disney money in the 50's to buy up acreage. See the movie Sideways for more on this. Here in Temecula, you had Vincenzo Cilurzo (another Hollywood refugee), whose weekday job was that as a Light Director for Merv Griffin, see IMdB. Vincenzo and his wife Audrey planted 40 acres and that are considered Temecula's first vines in 1968, then along came Ely Callaway, then Joe Hart and the rest is history. We have visited over a dozen plus vineyards in Temecula and they're all a lot of fun. Each offers up a little history and a taste of their best for a few bucks. The wineries we continue to return to are Callaway, Wilson, Wiens, Hart, Ponte and South Coast. If you find one you like, I would recommend joining their wine club. Many of the wines aren't sold in discount stores. We would also suggest trying some the restaurants attached to the Winery, like Meritage at Callaway. As a postscript, Vincenzo & Audrey Cilurzo sold their winery in 2004 to Imre & Gizella Czirakis and they renamed it Bella Vista. Vincenzo died last year, but the family stayed in the Temecula area. Enjoy!

If you're not part of their wine club membership, you will be forced to sit in their lawn area--the seats and views are not great and the space is very limited. Meanwhile, their membership area has lounge tables and cooling fans, but it is strictly reserved for members despite it being completely empty at the time. The associates at the wine tasting room were not welcoming nor were they attentive either as they often talked amongst themselves even with patrons around. With how long Miramonte Winery has been around, it's unfortunate to see the service and ambiance go completely downhill. There are plenty of other wineries in Temecula at this point that I would rather visit than to come here again. I strongly suggest going elsewhere if you want to visit a winery with great atmosphere and views. I gave an extra star because the place is not the worst, it looks to be clean, the wine is decent, but the winery itself is far from good nor is it worth your time or money.

It's such an educational tour. We highly recommend visiting LetterPress Chocolate Factory and already shared about our experience with family and friends. Once we arrived and checked in Corey handed us hairnets and masks to prevent any contamination in the facility. She is so nice and friendly and explained the process to us (party of 5). David the speaker and tour guide was excellent. We learned so much about the process on how to grow and cultivate cacao trees then ferment cacao. He educated us about the process to the completion from the bean to bar and packaging of chocolate. He also informed us the quality versus quantity of chocolate manufacturing. Which was very interesting. During this whole process David showed videos, slides and also had us try cacao beans and different types from different parts of the world. From there we moved on to the chocolate factory and how they are made. We then placed our masks on once we entered the closed section. It was fun and unforgettable experience. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed it. We also got to try more samples. After the chocolate factory tour we bought some ice cream and LetterPress Chocolates. Definitely fine and quality chocolate. We are so thankful for this experience and have now looked at the chocolate manufacturing and producing process from a much better perspective.

There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.
