My husband and I were having a special, anniversary night out... and it was my turn to plan it (we switch off every year). Sadly, I'm incredibly busy and we have two little guys under 20 months old... so yah, I forgot. Thankfully, at the last moment (literally 3pm the day of), I called Red Hat Limo and spoke with Jared and I am SO GLAD I DID. Jared gave me a great rate for the "small limo" which was a little more special than just the town car and perfect for our party of two. I could secure the limo for pick up at 5:45 (2.75 hours from when I called) and he'd even send some champs with the driver! NICE! Only a few hiccups in a perfectly wonderful evening, which was more than made up for by our driver Anita... She'd arrived just a touch late (10 minutes), she'd forgotten the toll road pass or it wasn't in the vehicle... minor, but we were short on time and cutting it close with traffic. Then, we got a little lost... the GPS was not taking us the right way or quite to the right location (you know how they're off sometimes?) Thankfully, it was no problem and we ended up at our destination just in time without issue. The limo was nice, clean, didn't smell weird (I've been in limos that have and are in poor shape). Anita was friendly and non-intrusive (and I've had many limo drivers who want to just talk your ear off... and I'm a talkative, happy person, so I find it hard to let them know I would rather just be with my husband). Because of our couple of hiccups and our dinner event ended around 10:45 with having already paid until midnight... Anita asked if there was any place else we'd like to go and that she "owed us" an extra half hour for the slightly late start and wrong directions. We took her up on it and she took us to a karaoke bar on our way home for a song or two. I like Red Hat so much and will absolutely use their service for all of our going out and airport transportation needs. I highly recommend Red Hat Limo for any and all limo services you need! They are fantastic! Our overall experience was absolutely HORRIBLE! There were few things that went wrong on your wedding day and Red Hat Limo was at the top of the list and the catalyst to what did go wrong. 1. Limo driver did not know directions from the hotel to the church site. It's pretty simple, straight down MacArthur Blvd. He managed to get lost somehow. 2. Limo driver snapped at the Bride for not waiting at the correct pick-up location. This lead to the bride (me) to rush out the door and ripping my wedding dress! Yes, I ripped my dress before wedding festivities began. He showed no sympathy and continued to be rude. 3. Limo driver took tips from BOTH the best man and the groom. After receiving a tip from the best man, the limo driver failed to mention it and hinted for another tip from my husband. Need I list more?! This Company, Let me tell you ! Jared at first was very nice to Me and my fiancee at the time, when we made an appointment to go and check out the limos so we can decide on one for our wedding. Well everything was all set up, we had reserved the Cadillac Escalade it was a done deal ! Well the day before my wedding Jared called me and informed me that there was a "spill" in the car and its not useable, BUT that he had a new car, a Lincoln Navigator , and that it was very nice he assured. I don't like changes made when I am promised something and We pay for it, I expect what was agreed on. Jared was very assuring and so I was certain that we were still going to get the same quality if not nicer. The day of my wedding, The car got there on time to pick us up at the church with the "Red Carpet" rolled out as promised. I should have known that it was downhill from there because the carpet, was a lil Burgandy Doormat ! Basically a Joke !The Limo was a Lincoln Navigator, But an older version, A 2000 Model ! Aside from that it was filthy inside, the windows had not been cleaned0 there was fingerprints all over, It wasn't even vacuumed, the champaign that we were supposed to get which was included in our package, was poured in a glass container ( who is going to trust and drink from an open container in a dirty limo?)... The cherry on top was it was in the summer time and The ac did not work ! I will never , NEVER recommend this company !! The worst ever ! the driver was 10 minutes late. We have requested a limo that will fit 12 people. The limo turned out to be smaller than we wanted. what the heck?!?! So one of the groomsmen had to sit up in the front w/ the driver. When he picked our wedding party up, he went the WRONG direction! (i was like umm... where is he going?!?!?) The driver did not have any of the desinations pre-programmed in the GPS and he was going to take us to the wrong address if my husband had not yelled at the driver to direct him to the right address. Jarod never picked up the phone whenever my husband called. Jarrod would call back when my husband called his business partner asking for Jarrod. Despite the lack of good communication, they did carry themselves fairly well. Except when asking the driver to turn on the AC, instead of saying "okay, i'll leave the car running" he made excuses that it was too hot to leave the car running. We hired Red Hat Limo for our wedding this past month. We were promised a 12-persons vehicle to fit our entire bridal party, but the vehicle we got could only fit 10. We are small ppl as well so it was nearly impossible to fit 12 in there. 3 of the bridal party had to drive separately which was a major disappointment and defeated the whole purpose of a limo to begin with. When we brought this up afterwards, we were told that we got charged such a good price, we shouldn't complain. Everything was pretty great. Driver was on time. Knew where she was going. Very courteous and polite. I give this a four because of two things: 1) the limo we rented did not have lights because of a blown fuse. 2) we had barley any air coming to the back because her mechanism that controlled the air wasn't responding. So we had to roll down the window on our way to hotel. Definitely not a way I imagined my ride to be away from our wedding reception, but also wasn't a deal breaker. One of the questions I had jokingly asked Jarrod on our phone consultation was if the driver would be wearing a Red Hat. When he replied, "yes", I was very e x c i t e d! My friend's wedding colors were red and yellow so it would be a perfect surprise. When the Escalade pulled up, the driver came out, and as promised, with his red hat :) As far as pricing goes, Red Hat was quite reasonable compared to its competitors. What I liked most about Red Hat was their willingness to accommodate and really cater to their clienteles. I had requested a few specific items to be stocked and ready to go (and by ready to go, I mean chilled and let's drink now!). The music played during the transit from the house to venue was a playlist of the bride/groom's favorite songs that I had prepared. I will use these guys over and over again! If I could, this would be the only way I'd get around anywhere. Groceries, dog park, concerts, dinners, everything! My girlfriends and I bought tickets to a concert at the Honda center months ago. As the weeks got closer, I started to think that it'd be so nice to take a cab or have someone drive us so we'd all be able to drink and have a good time. Well, after looking around, I thought there'd be no way we'd afford a limo, but I reached out to a few services just to double check. Sure enough, our budget was a bit tight and nothing really seemed to work out. The search was not for lack of trying though. I reached out to a few companies who never got back to me. But first impressions are everything and low and behold, Jarrod got back to me promptly -within 24 hours he quoted me! When I let him know of our needs and thanked him for his help, but the rate seemed a bit too much for us, he completely understood and accommodated! Sure, it was a tiny bit over what we had set out to spend, but it was definitely not a stretch and let me tell you, worth every single penny! Anita was our driver, and she showed up promptly (a few of us were late...fashionably of course) and was courteous and fun. She got us to dinner, concert venue and home safely. Below is the response I received from the owner Nader. He basically is asking me to not sue him if he refunds me $120 and of course he does not accept responsibility for his actions as a business owner. He still claims the limo was in perfect shape even though there were multiple dents, torn headliner and no less than five swastika on the car. I agreed to allow him to keep my deposit of $190 to cover his costs but now I will sue for a complete refund. If he is going to lie he should tell his driver to do the same. Not only Nader but also his driver have a license to protect so I will also be complaining to the state agencies. Manager 50 minutes ago Block & Report Owner I think we did the service in good terms and we can't refund the money. We can offer you $120 (about 20% of the total reservation) because the limo was in the perfect shape. For the signs on the limo, we didn't do and we couldn't find enough time to erase it, also we didn't know that you are Jewish as by law we can't ask customers about their religion or belief. So it's clear it was not our intention. We will refund you when you reply to this message accepting the refund and accept not to sue us for anything. And for the reviews, we have the ability to remove any review by sending a claim to the yelp account manager. We do that because we appreciate you as a person and customer not because we afraid of the bad reviews as you can see for over 2 years we are getting only 5 stars reviews and our customers love us. I booked red hat for our wedding. The driver was about 20 minutes late to pick up my wife to bring her to the ceremony. Luckily they made it on time, but it did add some unnecessary stress to the day. When I called to ask why they weren't there, they did offer to extend the rental an additional hour. But that offer is pointless considering we were never going to push back the reception. So what is the point of having the limo for the extra hour? On top of that, the roof of the limo (white chrysler 300) clearly had weathering/sun damage. We had contracted with Red Hat Limousine for our wedding in April 2014. Jarrod is friendly, though difficult to get on the phone. Everything seemed okay scheduling for the wedding day, and we had ordered the "wedding package" to decorate the limo with flowers, red carpet, etc and Jarrod confirmed via email our order. Come our wedding day the limo showed up on time, and the driver was pleasant, but there were no flower decorations, no carpet, or any part of a wedding package. My wife and I were very disappointed, and a wedding isn't something you can just "redo". Red Hat Limo seems good if you just need a limo for a quick ride, but I would not recommend it for a big event. read more

Do NOT use this business, they are a switch & bait company & do not provide the services paid for. They will show you one vehicle at their wearhouse, set up a contract for that vehicle for your event & will come with an outsourced vehicle & driver the day of your event. When confronted, they will state that their limo is being repaired; not realizing that their partner had called previously stating that they had overbooked for the day. The outsourced driver will NOT have a GPS & will ask the groom for directions to the church & back. They will not take ownership for the driver FAILING to pick-up the bride the day of the wedding. They will undermine your words when you call & state the Catholic church has no problem canceling a wedding ceremony if you are in excess of 15 minutes late. They will scoff & laugh on the phone as you call frantic about the whereabouts of the driver. They will not apologize or provide any reimbursement of services they fail to provide. They will blame the groom for the driver's incompetentcy. They will state that you are "sneaky" for using the funds of the YELP coupon they have posted for any part of your deposit. They will call you these names without referring to the stipulations of the YELP coupon which does not limit its use or despite confirmation from YELP themselves that there are NO stipulations that limit the use of the coupon. They, unfortunately from our experience, do not have a moral backbone or company ethics that warrant their use by the public & would rather (according to their partner) not provide refunds despite the fact that this case would more than likely be judged in our favor in a court of law. read more

I've been contacting many limo places to get back to me and Jarrod was one of the people that got back to me very quickly. He was very easy to talk to. I was able to book the limo within 3 days of the event date. 20% deposit was required to book and we booked it for 6 hours: 10-4am. I was really antsy and have horror stories of limo drivers being late to events. When I texted Jarrod about half an hour prior to our start time, Jarrod told me Ronald, our driver, was already parked around the corner. AWESOME! When we came out at our start time, Ronald was waiting outside for the grand entrance. The 18 seater Escalade was freaking crazy as promised by Jarrod. Because we wanted to pre-party in the limo before getting into the club, we asked Ronald to take a longer route. Ronald took the local way and also circled around our destination so we had more time to pre-party. Then after the club, as soon as we called him, he came to pick us up within 10 minutes.. (well i was trashed but it seemed like only 10mins or less..) We actually had 2 more hours before our time was over. Ronald again became our hero and drove around town and dropped us off when we were supposed to end. We paid the rest of the balance in cash. Def gave ronald a fat tip for being so awesome. It was truly a one of a kind experience. I had such a blast. My boyfriend was surprised, shocked, and had a blast. We all had such a blast. Driver took 2 couples to prom. I arranged everything the night before and was simple lucky that they was one limo available on such short notice. I was worried that we might have gotten the kids the "bottom of the barrell", but it was a beautiful sleek white limo with all you would expect. We had a new, clean, fancy limo take us between the Orange County airport and the Grand Californian Hotel.
