It seemed like hubby and wife that owned and they were some of the nicest people ever! He's very familiar with Napa Valley a visit we have coming up so he gave us great tips for our trip. The place isn't big but it packs a punch with selection and they have a large patio area! We ended up buying a Pinot Noir called DECODED! really smooth with fruity finish and light!

In short order, they have learned our likes and dislikes and never to fail to guide us to old and new favorites. Weekly tastings open you up to new horizons and provide a chance to taste some seriously great wines without having to spring for a bottle that is above your average spend. Then again, Graddie and Caleb also have a way to seek and find great values. A bonus is that they offer food delivered from Table 31 next door, which is always excellent and tasty. The deviled eggs, Korean Cauliflower, French Dip and French Fries (crispy until the last bite) are always good as is the rest of their menu. I've had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed -- oh, I forgot to mention the Nashville Hot Chicken... If you haven't been to this cozy, intimate shop with a large patio area, you owe yours a treat. Cheers!

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.

Disregard the "in the near future" comment because they have no plans at all to improve the traffic. Common practice for us around Christmas or other special occasions is a gift of wine and we would normally buy it by the case from Total Wine and More in Birkdale. We've already bought our Christmas Wine for this year. Your Wine Stop opened in Natelie Commons shopping center in October 2021 and just celebrated their one-year anniversary. Never stopped in until today even though Joey's, Pomodoro and Citrus the Diner are restaurants we frequently are in the same strip mall. Today my wife said she wanted to go back to Citrus the Dinner because of the Apple, Pecan, Turkey Salad Sandwich and the Morning Glory Muffin. There was a 30-minute wait to be seated. so, I walked down to check it out On Saturdays they do not open till noon, so I made a mental note the check it out after Brunch. After Brunch, I walked down while my wife moved the car down so she did not join me in the store. I was blown away. Nowhere as big as a Total Wine and More but a great selection of French, Italian and California Wines plus other from around the world. Good selection of Whites, Red and California Blended Wines. In the back left, is a great selection of Craft Beers and while still in cans and not on tap, a good starting point. What struct me was their Wine Station. It's currently 28 stations where individual wine are dispensed in 1,2, and 3 fl oz increments. There is an excellent video link of their website that gives an excellent overview. The wines are temperature controlled to the proper serving temperature and apparently blanketed with what I assume is Nitrogen to prevent Oxidation. To start off you purchase a card much like a prepaid Visa Gift Card and each time you use it, you transaction amount is deducted from the balance on the care. There was only one gentleman at the register, and he was assisting another customer, so I did not get a chance to ask my question of cost. Came home and checked out their website and there was a chat function, so I asked how much for the card and how many ounces is it good for, Quck response and the card on initial minimum purchase is $20 and price per ounce varies based on the cost of the wine averages between $1 and $3 per ounce. There is a number of tables where you can site and enjoy the wine. Have heard of this concept before with Beer but had never seen in in action. Retail pricing of the wines are good and very competitive. If I had to categorize the Store, I would categorize i more of a Wine Bar which is something that Denver and the West Side of Lake Norman need as an amenity.
