My eldest played the claw machines one Summer day, and so she brought me and my youngest after a weeknight dinner. A cute, canvas tote bag was given to each player. The tote bag wasn't available during the Summer. It came in really handy for the girls to stash their winnings. What's great about this place is that everyone is a winner! The very friendly and helpful employees can help you reposition the prize you are trying for. Plus, they have a trade up policy where you can trade up 3 -4 smaller prizes for a bigger prize. The place is small but the girls had a lot of fun! You don't have to worry that the kids will spend forever here. It's just enough to satisfy their claw machine itch and they leave happy. We'll definitely be back.

I recently did a tour of claw machine arcades in the area (Cali Claw in Concord, Starbunni in Danville, Claw Meee in Milpitas and Round 1 in both Concord and Hayward) and Starbunni had the best win rate of them all. My daughter and I split $25 worth of credits. I was a little nervous when we walked in on a Sunday since we were the only ones in the store and the few machines they had looked sparsely stocked so I wasn't hopeful that we would win anything. I appreciated that the person working the store said that if we weren't able to win anything out of the machines we were still guaranteed to get two plushies. That was comforting and made it easier to focus on having fun vs. making sure we won something. To my surprise the claws seemed very strong and we easily won 5 plushes without the staff having to help/ reposition the machine, etc. Even though there were only a handful of trade up prizes available when we went my daughter still found a large stuffed animal she liked in exchange for four of the plushes we won. The cons for us was that the location is pretty far from the 680 freeway so it's not an easy location to swing by, customer service was very minimal (only helped with purchases and trade ups, no other interactions like tips or repositioning) and the machines were pretty empty on the day that we visited. I would still recommend visiting if you happen to be in the area already.

I've took my children here twice now and so far it's been great! The place is tiny, but mighty. Great selections of plushies in each claw machine. There are two rooms. What's cool is my daughter who is 7 is guarantee to win 3 prizes even if she runs out of credit. They will add extra so she can get three plushies which I think it's amazing! The staff is very nice, cool and chill. Both times they have been very kind and explaining how it works. We come from Brentwood, which is kinda far but super fun activity to do with your children! They love it here. Please get more Sanrio characters especially Hello Kitty :( I haven't seen her yet during both visits when we came. Thanks!

Obligatory "I'm a massive claw machine enthusiast". I'm not the only one obviously, but I am one of them. I've visited many claw machine places up and down California and Hawaii. I like chasing that thrill, and I prefer UFO over sugar loaf. I traveled up here from the South Bay. It's my first time around here and it's located in a nice...outdoor mall? The problem is although the outdoor mall is nice, it seems terminal. Not a lot of shops, not a lot of people, oddly enough there were like 3-4 police cars parked there, and one police car patrolling around, not sure what that's all about but I suppose it paints a picture. Upon entering the premise of this claw machine place I felt...underwhelmed. Memory might be a little shotty, but I counted approx. 16 regular sized claw machines, and 4-6 smaller ones for keychain-sized prizes. This is kind of on the smaller side, considering some of the other claw machines I've frequented previously. No UFO Japanese-style claw machines (most tend not to, usually only Round1 has it, but I thought it was still worth mentioning). The design of the store is nice and cute, but there isn't much to play or interact with. You basically get a whiff of the entire place in under 5 minutes tops. Doing quick maths on their pricing scheme, it would seem that either the $40 or the $100 offer the most value per play. They may change it down the road, however, so that math is only applicable to the pricing of my visit. The staffing was great and customer service was fantastic. There are much better ones throughout California with more options and better prizes to choose from. Also they sell blind boxes which were practically twice the prize of the MSRP listed on the boxes themselves. E.g. they have the somewhat popular TOPTOY Sanrio vending machine blind boxes which retails for 59 RMB (~$8.30 USD) and it's sold here for $21 out the door. I get it, import/procurement fees on things like this can add up, but $21 was pretty steep IMO, and these usually go for $15-$17 after tax online from certain websites. Overall I got hella bored really fast from this place, wished they offered more. There is apparently another and different claw machine place opening in the South Bay which seems to have more claw machines, I suppose I'll be waiting for that one to open up!

Love this new claw machine arcade! Everyone is a winner. We came on a rainy day and paid $20 and got 50 credits. The front desk person was very kind. He said if we don't win anything after using our credits. We can pick a prize or get all the credits back, meaning we can play until we get something!! We won 3 stuffed animals and we were able to trade them. There's a Photo Booth and it was free if you want the digital to send to you. I waited for my email but never got it. I called back and they resent it and I got the email. Customer service was awesome! Will definitely come back again for some fun!!

We usually come here about twice a year. My kids look forward to it so much. Last time we came around about half year ago, the shop was not open on time. So, I message them to ask about it as we waited a long time with the kids at opening time. They promptly messaged back offering us credits for the next time we come by. Fast forward half year later, we came to visit again and I showed the staff the message from 6 months earlier. He quickly offered my 2 kids the credits and told us they will be guaranteed 2 prizes at no cost. I was very surprised, I only expected a discount. After the kids got their plays in and happily with 2 stuffed animals in hand, I offered to pay for them. He graciously said that was not necessary. What a friendly store! I wish the store was a little closer so we can come more often. We will be back again for sure! Thank you.

Cute place for kids with claw machines and a variety of plushies. The manager was very sweet and welcoming, going above and beyond! You get a card with credits (5 credits per machine, different prices for credits depending on your spend), and you can trade 3-5 small plushies for larger ones. We had a blast and will be back! Located in the Blackhawk Plaza on the Fat Maddie's side.

This place is so cute!! Wish it was closer to the city but it is located in a kinda empty shopping center. They were having a spring deal and you can choose out of an egg to receive a blind box, more points and more!! The staff is very friendly and nice - super helpful in trading prizes. These plushies are so cute, many sanrio characters and there is also a photo booth for $6! Got myself a blind box and you can also trade for the displays if you want.

I spent my birthday here and had a BLAST!! I wish we discovered Starbunni sooner!! It was super fun and we won so many cute plushies!! Jerret provided wonderful service and made our experience so enjoyable! He even gave us a free tote bag to carry all of our plushies! We will definitely be back to play some more :)

The staff were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand or offer advice on how to improve my claw machine skills. Their enthusiasm was contagious and added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that every visitor had a fantastic time. What impressed me the most was the fair and transparent nature of the arcade. Unlike some other places, the Starbunni didn't feel rigged or unfair. The machines were well-maintained, and I could see that genuine effort was put into providing a fair chance for everyone to win. It made the victories even sweeter and the losses easier to accept. This was such a fun date experience! I won 7 prizes! I'm honestly really bad at claw machines but even I won with these machines! Unlike other claw machine places, I feel like these at Starbunni are not rigged for customers to lose. I appreciate how everyone wins something, and I even got a free tote to carry all my stuffed animals. They also give great trade up options where you can trade 3 or 4 medium stuffed animals for a large prize up front. They also have other cute items for purchase. I still had credits to save for next time. They change their inventory in the machines every 2-3 months, and I will be back soon!
