When in wichita I fine myself at this and the other starbucks location also on Rock road. I like spot as it's close to 96 and 400. I also like the drive thru here. It's covered and allows for a long line that doesn't block traffic. It also helps that the barristas are always friendly and I get my iced coffee just how I like it. I've not visited the inside so I cannot comment on that Enjoy!! read more

This is the closest Starbucks for me and I love Starbucks that is the only rsason I am going there. One time the second sip I got from my latte had a fly.... I didn't drink latter until I for get the feeling. If I didn't have that experience I would give this place at least a 4 star. read more

The staff at this Starbucks is usually very friendly and nice, regardless of the time of day. There's usually a man with long dark hair working in the morning that is super peppy and makes my day better. Once or twice they forgot to modify something for me (I asked for a different topping sub on oatmeal, etc) but my requests for soy milk and things that matter are always met. I saw someone say they water down their coffee, but I honesty go to Starbucks for a socially acceptable 8am milkshake (frappuccino!) so I'm not here for coffee purity, I just need sugar and friendly workers. So I can't speak to that. The parking lot is tiny and hard to navigate in the morning if you come at the wrong time, with people pulling out and blocking the entrance a bit. I love the new layout of the Starbucks store here. This location is great for those who want to stop in for a while and hang out with some friends. What I don't like is the drive through in the morning. Do not waste your time. Park the car, get out of the car, walk inside, and order what your heart desires! You will be in and out of there much quicker than those who rather go through the drive through. One, you get to see multiple friendly faces and two you are not wasting gas and you are getting some free easy exercise. For the most part they make my drinks right, sometimes not so much. I told them I had a free drink and they charged me the drink.... I think they forgot to hit a special button when scanning my Starbucks App because I have never been charged for something when it was free. That's ok! They have some of the best customer service!!! I used to come to this location from time to time to read a book but since I moved I just stop by when I need a quick drink in the morning or evening. Overlal their pretty consistent and fix their mistakes when they occur. As long as I work nearby this location I will continue to drop in every so often. read more

Seriously though, if this was my local Starbucks I would never go to another Starbucks again. We waited in line for over 20 minutes in the drive thru and when we got to the window it took another 5 minutes AFTER PAYING to get my drink. I know what you're thinking, it was probably a couple of super complex drinks. IT WAS ONE GRANDE PEPPERMINT MOCHA. ONE!!! Just a normal Starbucks. Didn't actually order anything. I just stopped by looking for a city specific mug since I was visiting Wichita for business. Unfortunately they did not have the mug I was looking for. This particular location seem to have ample seating area and table, perfect for studying or doing work. read more

Basically the staff seems to ignore recipes and when they have a chance to correct the issue, the aren't active listeners. I've become more frustrated with this location and the location at Central & Rock, the staff at both locations lack proper training. I typically don't make an issue, but it seems like every visit turns into this anymore. Between my wife and I, we are spending $12(roughly), are both gold card members, and our trips are more frequently involving multiple trips. I'm beginning to think my wife and I should just shop local and go to more reputable shops. read more

Put in a mobile order to this location and it was only until I arrived to pick it up that they even realized it was a mobile Order and began making it. The barista began putting the wrong tea in my latte and when I tried to politely correct her ( I have been ordering the same drink nearly every day for the past two months) she got huffy with me until another barista confirmed I was right. She also put whole milk in the drink and I am extremely lactose intolerant. I didn't even bother going back in to get the correct drink because I could tell the poor gal was having such a bad day. A pivotal stop to start my day while I was in Wichita. Located at a major intersection in a nice part of Wichita, this place is quite busy in the morning. Service was friendly, prompt and well coordinated. Look for the big hair guy. It's a Starbucks where they ask your name when taking your order, which never happens in the Seattle area. I always make up a name, like Ricky Bobby or something. I saw the same group of attractive women here all four days I stopped here. They were outfitted for the gym or tennis or whatever one does in Wichita garbed athletically. Access and parking can be challenging here in the morning. It's Starbucks so no big surprises. read more

This is our local Starbucks and one we frequent. The staff is always great and the location is always clean. When we're working we grab a cup on the way to work and when we're not working we go up to enjoy a cup of coffee, a pastry and just sit and talk. read more

I am personally partial to this Starbucks. The crew is always wicked nice and the store is clean. Yes, I've been in some untidy Starbucks. There is ample seating, though a few more outlets would be nice. The drive-thru is a bit tricky to navigate and gets backed up very easily, due to it's location. First time I've visited this location. Parking spaces are limited unless you want to park in the Walmart lot and walk over. Seating is quite limited also. I was there late afternoon and I was fortunate to find one small table open. Service was good, no complaints there. My frappuccino was very good also. Main two complaints: 1) the music was too loud! As a result, people had to raise their voices to carry on a normal conversation, and, with 15 people or so all talking at once - you know the result. 2) the wifi was horribly slow. Granted, everyone in the place was on laptops or handheld devices, but if their wifi can't handle the bandwidth requirement, they need to get it fixed. Won't be back to this one, or the location at Central & Rock which is a nightmare to get in and out of. read more
