Lousiest service I've ever seen, rude baristas and slower than molasses. Almost feel like driving another 23 miles to another Starbucks

Today was probably the last time I will frequent this location. Lately, the line in drive thru takes forever. Today I was in line for 25 minutes. Got up to the window asked if my drink was ready before I paid because I had no time to wait longer. Paid for my drink...and of course it's not right. I'm not sure how to be more clear. Venti ICED non-fat....well you get it. Wasn't supposed to be hot! I don't like leaving bad reviews because I know times are tough, but this location was so much better when they first opened. read more

Very happy to see more Coffee Shops, Restaurants,and Store options around Truck Stops. I'm a truck driver, so anything walking distance is great! This Starbucks location was very clean and the employees were lovely, and drinks were on point! Kendall was the one making our drinks and she made me one of her go to coffee drinks and it was delicious (I forgot to ask her for her recipe) we also tried the new Citrus Defense (hot) Tea with 2packs of Honey and Lemonade and it's definitely not for everyone but I liked it, it reminds me of something that you'd want to drink in cold weather or if feeling under the weather. I don't know if they have the Defense Tea at every Starbucks location but I will be checking. read more

This place has extremely slow and poor customer service! Waited in long line for over 15 minutes while staff scrambled around without any acknowledgement of the waiting customers. They seem to have very slow, disorganized staff. Whoever manages this location should be sacked! Worst Starbucks I've been to in California. Hoping the new one opening in Mt. We made our usual stop at this Starbucks in Weed, CA on one of our many trips up to Oregon in May. There was a sign on the door that said masks required. I walked in to find a group of 8 Gen-Ys taking up the waiting space with no masks and no social distancing, and the barista who made my latte wasn't covering her nose with her mask. Needless to say, I had words with the manager. I won't be going there again until the pandemic is over. read more

Way better than our Starbucks back home. I would have thought that since this location probably sees a lot of travelers that it wouldn't be very good but they are actually super nice and professional. A breath of fresh air. I love this location, its our pit stop now for frequent trips between Bend Oregon to Sacramento California. The staff is always super friendly and the bathrooms are spotless! I know at Starbucks don't be in a hurry. Espescially in Weed. I was glad they opened. I go through weed twice every week. Today when I stopped it was 11:50 am. Nice I was able to go straight up and order, no line. Only want a tall latte. Then I used the restroom. When I came back out, no latte. I stood there for maybe another 5 minutes. Finally asked dont you have a barista to make my latte. The girl said yes I am the only barista, and there are a lot of drinks to make. I counted 6 employees, but they only had 1 barista on duty. 2 girls could take orders, and 3 standing in the back talking, and 1 barista. Took me 15 minutes to get a latte and I was the only one in the store, plus drivethru. read more

Ordered the wrong drink by mistake here. I meant to get a blended green tea frap instead of iced. I was about to walk out a bit disappointed, but decided to first ask if I could get a re-do in the drink. Consistently the slowest Starbucks I've been to. They need someone to come in and organize the flow and oversee the slowest barista in the west. So many employees but only one barista working on drink orders. Currently 18 customers waiting and those that ordered food haven't eaten it without a drink. This one was so slow and the girl kept getting our order wrong. She was kind of rude when we ordered because we liked our coffee a certain way especially my husband he is allergic to dairy. She was not listening because we had finished our drinks when our food finally came! Worse experience ever. I was very disappointed with the service at this Starbucks location. Lots of employees but they seemed totally disorganized. My food order was forgotten. When I mentioned it, they got started on it right away and then the employee that was heating it got distracted talking to another employee. The food came out of the warmer, she put it in the paper bags and then continued her conversation while holding my food for at least another 2 minutes! Ordered on line. Picked up at drive up window. My husband's bagel was dry. No butter or cream cheese. No napkins! We're driving. At the very least we need napkins. Went in and asked for napkins and cream cheese. Employee said cream cheese is a add on and costs extra - but she'll give it to me this one time. We hands me a wad of napkins. Worst Latte's ever. I live in Weed Ca. and was excited to see a Starbucks come to our little town. But after several tries, my husband and I have decided "no more". The latte's taste more like hot milk. For nearly $4 why would I ask for "another coffee shot" when I paid for what I expected to be the best cup of coffee in our town? I suggest locals and travelers shop next door at McDonalds. Their latte's and even a regular cup of coffee beats Starbucks not only by taste but by 1/2 the price. Also the employees at McDonalds are much friendlier and responsive to customers. read more

I would like to give a Big Thank you to one of the girls, that work at the Weed Starbucks. On October 21st 2018 my daughter and I stop to get a coffee before we got onto Hwy 97 . It was about 9:30 pm ... she was the one with short blonde hair ... I think she just finished her shift, She asked me if I have been helped, I said not yet .. So she asked what I would like , I told her and she asked where we were heading too , I said Bend , Oregon. She said oh !! Don't forget to get gas .. I said oh ?? She said because Nothing is open this time of night.. I said ok I will tell my daughter.. So RIGHT as we started out on 97 .. I said GAS !! What do we have for gas ?? She said 1/2 tank.. we flip around back to town and filled up . THANK GOD !! She told us !! They messed up my drink order twice. I am a frequent customer. And I get the same drink all the time. But the girl in the drive through with the blue hair was obviously new but she was rude and kept giving me an attitude. And when I went inside they basically told me that they would remake my drink but I had order two drinks and then had the nerve to tell me that didn't have something to complete one of my drinks and that is ashamed you should have told me that while I was in drive thru instead of me having to come inside and tell them that they messed up. I will indeed not be back i prefer to drive a little more time and go to the Yreka store. Very displeased with this. And when I asked a question about when will pumpkin spice come out she told me she didn't know but didn't even go ask someone also which also I was looking forward to.
