I do not normally drink Starbucks. I happen to win a gift card at a tricky tray then I went to so I figured I might as well start using it. I will never understand how people buy this every day and wait in those lines for it and pay those prices. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte and proceeded to wait 10 minutes and the drive up. When I pulled up to the window, the young man did not even look over at me and acknowledge that I was sitting there waiting. Not even a hello I'll be right with you .. it was completely awkward. Watched a guy try to buy a handful of gift cards. The cashier couldn't get one of the cards to scan, after 10 minutes of him sitting there he said forget about it and left. The cashier then went on a rant about the customer in front of everyone waiting in line. When I said "I can't blame him" she went off on a tangent about all the extra work he caused and how she has never had that happen and blah blah blah. Bitching about your customers in front of your customers is not a good look, especially on Christmas Eve. Placed my order ahead of time and it was ready only a minute after it stated on the app which I expected because of the morning rush. Drink was great. Good place for me to go and relax between work and grad school at William Paterson. Nice atmosphere, only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is that staff is unusually slow in making drinks even though they are fully staffed. 10/16/17 - I came for my usual, a grande, hot, white chocolate mocha, NO WHIP CREAM. My drink was filled with whipped cream, which they said would just take off without knowing if I requested no whip due to an allergy. This is the third this has happened and I haven't made a big deal before because I figured they were new. But it continues to happen despite my request. This review is based on a quick drive thru experience. We ordered two hot drinks: a white chocolate mocha and a pike. Both drinks were made to order. The service was quick and Nicole our barista was extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. She even complimented my necklace, she definitely made the drive thru experience worth while. read more

The good: they have a drive thru. How amazingly convenient is that!? Convenient location with a back entrance option. LOVE driving thru for my coffee/tea. The bad: while the staff all seem to be buddy-buddy with each other, which is nice, perhaps they should focus less on their buddy-ness and actually tend to their customers. I always feel like I'm interrupting their very loud conversations when I step up to place an order for my overpriced coffee cravings. Plus, turn down the volume a notch. I don't need to hear what you did last night while I'm working on my computer drinking my chai. This Starbucks location is large and roomy with lots of seating. There is a nice outdoor patio with several shaded tables. They also have a drive thru which is clutch for this busy momma. The only negative thing is that parking is a bit limited since it's kind of small and right next to a bank. read more

I'm so disappointed with this Starbucks. I ordered my coffee and bagel this morning online so I could skip the god awful excuse they call a drive thru. There is absolutely nothing fast about this drive thru. It is always packed and there's always someone blocking the parking lot for the people who want to go inside for their coffee. I walked in and my coffee was done but my bagel wasn't-- the girl asked me what I was waiting for and I told her. She said it should be done soon. Terrible service. I stopped at this store and paid for my order at exactly 5:02. There were no other customers waiting on orders. Both employees proceeded to check out their cellphones and continued to do so until just now. The girl proceeded to say I am so sorry and she proceeded to make my beverage, which is awful. This Starbucks has lovely outdoor seating, which is the only reason I go back. The staff can be incredibly noisy. I usually go to get some work done, but have had to leave because the staff has been screaming and laughing for hours. I started going to Greenberry's since they have a quieter atmosphere. Had a horrible experience at this Starbucks today. I have been coming here for awhile and was very disappointed with the service and especially with the girl working the drive thru window. The drive thru line was very long, yet moved quickly. When I made it to order a drink, I asked for a certain sandwich as well. The woman said she'd check if it was available, and they didn't have it. Then I asked for a different one and the woman said, "no we don't have that one either, but we have it on a panini would you like that?" I said, "yeah sure I'll take one of those, please." When I got to the window the woman handed me the drink I ordered and said, "have a great day." I mentioned I ordered a sandwich as well and she replied, "oh yeah we don't have that, I was joking." I said, "what?" Her comedy was atrocious and her attitude was worse. She really rubbed me the wrong way. I was actually looking forward to the sandwich.
