I placed my order through Grubhub, but I ended up calling the store and I'm so glad Henry picked up. His customer service is on another level. He handled everything quickly, clearly, and with genuine kindness. By the time my drink arrived, my drink was perfect and ready, and Henry still greeted me like I was the highlight of his shift. He's the kind of employee who makes you want to come back. Starbucks needs more Henrys. read more

I do not normally drink Starbucks. I happen to win a gift card at a tricky tray then I went to so I figured I might as well start using it. I will never understand how people buy this every day and wait in those lines for it and pay those prices. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte and proceeded to wait 10 minutes and the drive up. When I pulled up to the window, the young man did not even look over at me and acknowledge that I was sitting there waiting. Not even a hello I'll be right with you .. it was completely awkward. I finally received my drink and I said to the young man may I please have my receipt just so that I can keep track of the money that I have on the gift card. He literally side and rolled his eyes. Once my gift card is gone, I will not return to Starbucks. Frankly the coffee is not that great, and the attitudes are not worth it at all. read more

I ordered a vanilla chai latte and when i went to drink it the label says "no chai" under vanilla syrup so I was basically given hot water and steamed milk with a splash of vanilla. Who in the world would pay $7.50 for water with milk? And if they didn't have chai for some reason CANCEL THE ORDER I'm sick and all i wanted was something hot to drink I am extremely frustrated and of course you can't get them on a phone. So annoyed. read more

4 people in working in this store on a late wednesday morning (11ish) and no one will acknowledge you for at least 4 minutes when you walk into the store and stand in line . I don't understand. Seems like you'd have better luck going through the drive through where they can't ignore you also like to add my drink was made incorrectly but I did not have an additional 15-20 min to stand around waiting for them to fix it. i won't be back read more

Decent Starbucks in this little town. We stopped here for morning coffee and bagel meeting with my crew. Typical me with my tall dark coffee with cream. Enjoyed my bagel and cream cheese. Good Baristas here, they just need to smile a bit more, and act like they love their jobs. All there is to it. read more

Watched a guy try to buy a handful of gift cards. The cashier couldn't get one of the cards to scan, after 10 minutes of him sitting there he said forget about it and left. The cashier then went on a rant about the customer in front of everyone waiting in line. When I said "I can't blame him" she went off on a tangent about all the extra work he caused and how she has never had that happen and blah blah blah. Bitching about your customers in front of your customers is not a good look, especially on Christmas Eve. I felt bad for the guy who couldn't spend his money and get the cards, not the cashier who is probably making $20 an hour to push buttons badly. read more

Placed my order ahead of time and it was ready only a minute after it stated on the app which I expected because of the morning rush. Drink was great. The barista who handed me the drink was friendly and smiled! Looked super clean when I walked in and I would definitely consider bringing my laptop for work next time to change my scenery. read more

Lots of college students ordering at this Starbucks. The staff is nice and friendly. They made me a custom drink and it was spot on, you can tell that they took joy in making it. If I'm in this neighborhood again, I will definitely stop by. read more

Good place for me to go and relax between work and grad school at William Paterson. Nice atmosphere, only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is that staff is unusually slow in making drinks even though they are fully staffed. Not a dealbreaker for me for never going back to this location, but it might be for someone who has less time or patience than I do. My drink is always correct! read more

Excellent service - protecting others with minimal contact. Thank you for giving us some normalcy thorough these crazy times and my coffee fix read more

Starbucks - Thanks for being part of my day! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

Avoid this place unless you have 30 minutes to wait for coffee. I thought maybe it was the day and they were short staffed. However, this is the 3rd time in a row I've gone and had to wait 30 minutes for my order. Everyone behind the counter seems like they are in slow motion not in a rush at all. Extremely frustrating. I get it everyone is short staffed but there has to be a better way. read more

10/16/17 - I came for my usual, a grande, hot, white chocolate mocha, NO WHIP CREAM. My drink was filled with whipped cream, which they said would just take off without knowing if I requested no whip due to an allergy. This is the third this has happened and I haven't made a big deal before because I figured they were new. But it continues to happen despite my request. This review is based on a quick drive thru experience. We ordered two hot drinks: a white chocolate mocha and a pike. Both drinks were made to order. The service was quick and Nicole our barista was extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. She even complimented my necklace, she definitely made the drive thru experience worth while. read more

I saw this Starbucks while delivering my stool sample to a nearby facility. Despite bad reviews I decided to try it out myself. The person on the intercom ( don't want to assume gender ), was a fast one. Friendly too. My drink was pretty complicated, vegan. Next was the delivery window. Beautiful, the man there handed me it as I paid with an added , "have a nice day". This drink was delicious. Execution good Service good Drink texture, straw girth, taste , mua 5/5 read more

The good: they have a drive thru. How amazingly convenient is that!? Convenient location with a back entrance option. LOVE driving thru for my coffee/tea. The bad: while the staff all seem to be buddy-buddy with each other, which is nice, perhaps they should focus less on their buddy-ness and actually tend to their customers. I always feel like I'm interrupting their very loud conversations when I step up to place an order for my overpriced coffee cravings. Plus, turn down the volume a notch. I don't need to hear what you did last night while I'm working on my computer drinking my chai. The ugly: staff members seem to always be taking up valuable customer tables up with their laptops - this is crazy! A staff member saw I was looking for a vacant table and offered to clear his laptop off for me but again - I feel like I'm inconveniencing HIM! Shouldn't he be spreading out his crap somewhere else? Well, it's a drive thru, the drinks are good so I guess I'll be back despite the negatives! read more

This Starbucks location is large and roomy with lots of seating. There is a nice outdoor patio with several shaded tables. They also have a drive thru which is clutch for this busy momma. The only negative thing is that parking is a bit limited since it's kind of small and right next to a bank. read more

I was there today, on the drive-thru, it was my mistake to skip the ordering section- i did not see it. However, when I drove up to the window, people were extremely rude to me, they were yelling while I didn't even say anything. I thought it was very unfriendly and rude. Never going back there again. read more

It's my favorite Starbucks in town. We have 4 in wayne and this one has the most room. I like the outdoor patio which gives you a choice to sit outside on a nice sunny day. Staff is friendly, but can sometimes be rushed. If you are used to NYC quick and efficient service its definitely not that, but in Jersey that doesn't exist. I recommend. read more

I'm so disappointed with this Starbucks. I ordered my coffee and bagel this morning online so I could skip the god awful excuse they call a drive thru. There is absolutely nothing fast about this drive thru. It is always packed and there's always someone blocking the parking lot for the people who want to go inside for their coffee. I walked in and my coffee was done but my bagel wasn't-- the girl asked me what I was waiting for and I told her. She said it should be done soon. All I could think of was how late for work I was going to be. TEN minutes pass by and they tell me they're out of cream cheese. I literally waited there all that time for them to not even have my order. I got a refund. I've given this location so many chances but all the employees don't seem to care. read more

Terrible service. I stopped at this store and paid for my order at exactly 5:02. There were no other customers waiting on orders. Both employees proceeded to check out their cellphones and continued to do so until just now. The girl proceeded to say I am so sorry and she proceeded to make my beverage, which is awful. The person should be fired for putting her cellphone above a customer for 10 minutes. The man working, sat at a table and also ignored me while on his phone. I will be calling Starbucks corporate office to complain. read more

Terrible customer service. I lost my wallet and was calling around the previous stores I had visited asking if they had seen it. This was the first store I called and I asked them to look around the seat I sat in and they lied to me saying they looked when they didn't because after hours of searching at other stores and wasting my entire day i decided to check myself and I found my wallet exactly where I asked them to look directly on the floor in plain sight. If they gave half a shit to look when I called I wouldn't have wasted HOURS looking and possibly gotten my card stolen. Seriously shitty staff who almost cost me a lot of money. Don't come here I know for sure I wont be again. read more

This Starbucks has lovely outdoor seating, which is the only reason I go back. The staff can be incredibly noisy. I usually go to get some work done, but have had to leave because the staff has been screaming and laughing for hours. I started going to Greenberry's since they have a quieter atmosphere. I am all here for staff enjoying themselves at work, but causing a disruptive atmosphere is unprofessional. The place has been a mess lately as well. read more

This Starbucks has bees indoors. The window sills have dead bees. I talked to a Starbucks employee who said somebody had looked into it and there's nothing they can do? I'm not allergies to bees but having a bee on me when I'm indoors drinking coffee and trying to relax is not relaxing. I also feel bad for the customers who might be allergic to bees?!? Otherwise, the drinks and employees are good. Normal Starbucks. You know, except for the fact that there's bees ... read more

To start off with, I am not a fan of Starbucks. In fact I avoid it like a plague. I also avoid it like a zombie infested establishment filled with people who sustain their life with a tall, grande, or venti mana. But I digress. Because of its convenient location I was forced to come here for a coffee break. I will however reveal that I am a big fan of their green tea frappucino (let's call it milkshake people!). It simply delicious. This particular Starbucks made it very well and (surprise) with a smile. For this reason I give this store 3 stars for their service and the awesome green tea goodness I got. Aside from that no Starbucks really impress me. read more

I cannot believe that a Coffee/Tea business does not carry Lemons. Had a horrible experience at this Starbucks today. I have been coming here for awhile and was very disappointed with the service and especially with the girl working the drive thru window. The drive thru line was very long, yet moved quickly. When I made it to order a drink, I asked for a certain sandwich as well. The woman said she'd check if it was available, and they didn't have it. Then I asked for a different one and the woman said, "no we don't have that one either, but we have it on a panini would you like that?" I said, "yeah sure I'll take one of those, please." When I got to the window the woman handed me the drink I ordered and said, "have a great day." I mentioned I ordered a sandwich as well and she replied, "oh yeah we don't have that, I was joking." I said, "what?" Her comedy was atrocious and her attitude was worse. She really rubbed me the wrong way. I was actually looking forward to the sandwich. She offered me a different one and I said no thanks and drove away. If the people working there continue to exhibit this new found attitude, I and many others will not be back. read more

Honestly the service here is horrible. I'm not one to criticize, but there's some things that really need to be addressed... I payed for a small coffee, and waited 40 minutes for it. I really don't mind workers talking and having a good time at their job, but at least take care of your customers. read more
