Yes, its a Starbucks- but a few notes on this location. This was my first ever visit thru a drive thru coffee place. Not a coffee drinker and I don't hang out in coffee shops, however was looking for a refreshing cold drink. There was one car ahead of me who to chose to linger for awhile while they chatted with one of the staff working inside making plans and discussing what time she got off. I wasn't in a huge hurry, but not sure the others behind me felt the same way. Young man taking our order was very friendly. Ordered pink drink which was said to be delicious along with a pineapple passionfruit lemonade. My gosh it was good! Refreshing tasty and quenched the thirst. The cold drinks- sign me up! Drive thru is always busy at this location as I have driven by many a time and seen the line snaked around the building. I guess I lucked out. read more

I love Starbucks I always go to the one in Kawasaki's but I was getting my car fixed so I stopped at this location (10/7/20). I bought two tall salted caramel mocha frappes one with 2 shots of espresso. I always get this kind and these two have been the worst I've ever had. There was no flavor at all maybe one shot of mocha otherwise it tasted like ice and the other one ice espresso. I was VERY dissatisfied and felt like I wasted my money. My sister saw that it was a young lady making these, hopefully this can be corrected for future reference. read more

I normally don't rate businesses, especially corporate ones, but I had to raise the Starbucks five stars. This is by far the best Starbucks in all of the Twin Cities and suburbs. It is incredibly rare that I get bad customer service here, I always get my drinks on time, and the staff is always super friendly and in fact way more talkative than I've ever met and any other Starbucks. You can tell that he employees are happy to work here because they work really really hard. read more

Today was the first time that I have been to this Starbucks location, and I have to say when I walking up to the building and walking into Starbucks, if I wasn't familiar with it at all, I would have no clue where to go. This particular Starbucks is in the same building as another restaurant, however they have separate doors on the front side. Although labeled I feel this could be confusing for some. When I waked in, the setup was very weird to me. The pick up was the first area I saw and the ordering station was not in my line of sight when I first walked in. Knowing how Starbucks works I knew follow the counter down and I will find where to order, however for someone who is not familiar I feel this could be very confusing. Overall the staff here seemed very efficient and friendly (however, the girl called out Olivia even though the cup clearly said Alicia (neither my name, but thats okay) and then when I questioned her she just said, "I don't Know does the cup say your name". I felt like this could have been avoided had she taken the two seconds to try and read the name on the cup, which I feel is an important part of her job. I would recommend this as they were efficient in getting drive through as well as in house drinks done quickly, however I don't love the location or layout of this building. The drink I got was the new Teavana peach and citrus white tea, I would highly recommend this, it was very good. read more

This is my go to Starbucks. Unfortunately the service in the last three months has gone so downhill. Be prepared to wait and don't be surprised if your coffee is made wrong. Great and cozy area to stick around and enjoy your drink. Baristas were fast, friendly, and professional. They have tables along with many outlets. They also have a long bench with outlets near the base of the bench. They also have chairs that are comfy to relax in if you don't like the wood chairs that are at the tables. The seating area was very clean as well. Only thing I would suggest is lowering the music level if you plan to play upbeat songs. It was slightly too loud for a coffee shop. read more

If anyone goes here that is lactose intolerant or has a dairy allergy don't bother.. they don't realize people can get really sick from those mistakes. Every time I go here and ask for almond milk (I pay extra for that) they always put regular milk in and then I get sick. They don't pay attention so don't bother going here. read more

The staff here are always very nice, and the drinks are always very good. The service is also really quick, like they blaze through a huge drive thru line. The biggest downside is that this location literally NEVER has their most popular drink items on the menu. I have tried to order the brown sugar shaken espresso drink 5 times here so far. Not a single one of those five times, one being a sat morning and one being a mon morning, have they ever had the right ingredients, so they can't ever make it. This is a big Starbucks, management obviously knows the drink is in high demand, so ORDER MORE BROWN SUGAR FLAVORING. I mean, you don't even have your most highly demanded drink on a Monday morning??? Even in the summer when the mango dragon fruit refresher is highly desired, they never have the dragon fruit. It's not an employee problem, it's obviously management. The management needs to quit skimping on truck orders. I know how this works having worked at Subway across the strip mall. I ordered a grande dragon fruit refresher from the drive thru. The menu was very limited and was very hard to read. I finally get the drink but from a very long process. I have to admit that the drink was very tasty but not worth the price, since the whole cup was filled to the top with ice. I only got a couple of good sips at best. Service was good, but other than that pretty mediocre. read more

I just visited the Starbucks in Vadnais Heights. I do NOT go to this location very often but probably visit it 5/6 times a month. Today I was a bit pressed for time but saw only two cars in the drive through. SO I swung in and got up there ordered my hot coffee. It took 14 minutes to get my coffee. FOURTEEN minutes. I had dinner at a sit down restaurant last night and it took less time to get a FULL meal. When I finally reached the window. There was no explaining as to what the problem was. SO I said did your coffee machine breakdown AGAIN. She said no the computer was not working properly. NOT I am so sorry for your 14 minute wait, have a cup of coffee on us. She gives me my coffee. Off I go. My coffee was COLD. VERY COLD. AND I was going to watch a soccer game. Not like I can warm it on up. I have been so disappointed with location with giving wrong orders many times, VERY long wait times because their machine was down for a week, and poor service!!! NOT planning on EVER going to Starbucks again. There are plenty of Caribou's around. AND I will totally drive right by this location to hit the Caribou across the street next time for sure. One of the baristas was horrible and was very rude, we simply asked for a iced water and they had no manners and once we got the water we put the straw wrapper in the garbage and one of the baristas talked back to us asking "why would u do that?" Also one of the baristas friends walked in and we could hear her talking negatively about us as we were right in front of her which is very immature. read more

Very nice location! The staff is always pleasant (I've only ever went through the drive through). The lines that tend to happen in most coffee drive throughs seem to move quite quickly here! I was maybe about 6-8 cars deep and it only took about 5 min at the most to get my drink. I was pleasantly surprised. read more

Usually like to come to this one because the staff is nice and they have an inviting fireplace. But last night we went there and asked two times to have the fireplace turned on and the lady said she would when she was done fixing coffee. We were there for half an hour and she never did it even after a reminder and looking over at us several times. It was quiet there also. And asked for an additional pump for my flavoring in my coffee and she said loudly in front of people that she put in three pumps and did I want 4- 5- 6-7 !
