On the occasions I am in Terre Haute, I often come to this Starbucks. Nothing fancy going on here, nothing to see really. But on that note, their drive thru seems to really be the biggest draw (and not really easy to get to if you are driving south). Seeing that I am not a drive-thru kind of gal anyway, I enjoy this location because their inside venue seems to never be real busy and it is easy to get a seat. Lots of plug-ins, chairs and working space. When the WIFI is funky at my parents rural address, I know coming here, I will have good connectivity, coffee and room to work. So all things considered, I have found some joy in this location. read more

One of the best Starbucks I've been to- consistently! Everyone here is always super friendly and gets my order right every time, even the custom coffees. The guy with the sweet looking ponytail who works the drive through not only makes you feel welcome but that he wants you to be there and it makes my mornings. read more

Had to give it a try... Strawberry Matcha. It had good flavor until I stirred it up. I can't explain what was off, whole milk, the proportions but it just wasn't good blend. Drive thru took awhile but window service was friendly, helpful and provided full order as the drinks were made. read more

Ordered black coffee. Which everywhere else the cashier hands you 10 seconds later. Not HERE. Nope. "We do our drinks in order." I waited patiently for 10 minutes and then asked if I could just get my coffee? Nope there are 3 more drinks in front of you. So nearly 15 minutes for a plain coffee. Thanks guys. The dirtiest, most rundown Starbucks I've ever been in. Filthy bathrooms. Overflowing trash, dirty floors. Coffee was ok.

The barista named Jake was really mean for no reason I ordered a coffee Frapuccino but I got a hot coffe. I politely asked if they can switch it but Jake said it was a up charge, although they are both priced the same. Jake made it but did a vanilla bean Frappuccino. I asked them if they can re make it and said Ohh..... pretty sarcastic. I was also told they were going to make a new one. After waiting he went to the back and end up putting the Frappuccino that was made in the blender and added coffee to it. Then gave it back. This was such a bummer experience at starbucks. read more

Today I went in and ordered four coffees. There were only 6 people in the drive thru. There were 7 people working behind the counter, 5 of them were working the drive through. That leaves 2 for the ONLY customers in the store. It took them over 4 mins to even acknowledge us and take our order. It then took them an additional 22 mins to make our 4 Grande coffees. I have never been treated so badly at a Starbucks . I am from Washington State and frequent Starbucks often. This store does no represent the company's policies. I will drive out of my way the next time I am in town to go to ANY OTHER coffee company/stand!!!!! read more

Seemed pretty busy but they got my drink to me right away. Probably the fastest I've gotten a drink from any Starbucks location actually. I also ordered a scone but of course it was the last one (probably had been sitting for a while as it was the late afternoon) and it didn't get warmed up so it was just ok. But the staff was friendly and seemed to be very friendly even with each other in the short amount of time I was there. read more

Just like any starbucks!.....Highly Needed and Good every time! If you neeeeeed that pick-me up, they got you!, it is really quick and always a stop when I'm on my way to Dayton, OH from St Louis! We have been several times and happened to pull in 15-20 minutes before closing, only to be told they were already closed. Even though the sign showed they should still be open. A business that posts hours should stay open until posted hours and not start shutting down 20 minutes early and refuse orders. read more

Great location right by I-70. Very fast and efficient service. No complaints. Got the order perfectly and no long wait for the beverage. Love Starbucks all the time in the city but when on the road and trying to make time a drive-thru is awesome. Driving west and having to make a u-turn to get there is a bit awkward but they were really fast on delivery. If you are driving west on I-70 be sure to make a right at the exit. Just stopped in there for a quick snack and drink. There was no one in line but the staff (3 of them) were going back and forth about the register. After making the purchase for my snack and a large caramel frappuccino I got back on I70. As I began to drink it I noticed a black curved line on the inside of the cup. Upon further examination long behold was a hair inside my drink (disgusting). This is the only negative experience I've ever had at Starbucks. Definitely try and avoid this location, it felt like a circus show behind the counter. read more

On a road trip I needs some caffeine and stopped at my beloved for my usual and the rudest barista ever proceeded to give me a lesson on how to order my drink. Yeah for small town Starbucks in the middle of 8 hour car rides! We stopped here on our drive from Indianapolis, IN to Springfield, MO. Ordered a Chai Latte and a Peppermint Mocha. Quick service. Accurate drinks. Clean bathrooms. Make sure you use a Starbucks pre-loaded Gift Card (even if you just buy one for yourself). After a certain number of uses, you get a free flavor shot EVERY time you go to Starbucks. For flavored mocha lovers like me, that's a $.40 cent saving each visit. Adds up, it does. read more

I was two hours into my 7.5 hour drive after a weekend in the 'ville and I decided I needed a drink. No, not of the alcoholic kind... tisk, tisk. I also had to use the loo, and Starbucks is always a good bet for a bathroom and drink, so I stopped. They had to have broken on how quickly they made my grande soy, Chai latte... Starbucks coffee is pretty awful all around regardless of where I go. If you order one of their coffee drinks in this Starbucks, it's just about as awful as the ones in St. Louis or in Kansas City; every Starbucks where I have gone has never given me a drink that I liked. If you buy the frappuccinos in the jars, you're pretty safe. I can drink and tolerate those if I must drink anything from Starbucks. The workers are always nice and helpful, and I like that about this Starbucks, but the coffee and coffee drinks are just awful. read more

This is my second favorite Starbucks in town. Nothing wrong with the coffee preparation, though the last time I was here, mine did taste a little burnt. The worst part is just the location itself! It's very small and the lot was not designed well for having a drive thru. Parking is difficult and the drive-thru line is usually backed up behind the building and almost to Margaret. This is the Starbucks closest to 70 which probably has something to do with it. If you've got extra time, save yourself the hassle and drive down to the Starbucks by Kroger. read more

I am giving a 3 star. The service is great! The coffee and tea are great! The lids on the cups have definitely changed. At least the last three trips the lids are popping off the cups. I had a horrible incident at the drive thru where I ordered two Tavo English Breakfast Tea and they handed them to me thru the window and both lids popped off the cups and the tea spilled on me and my car and burnt my hand. I had to get the drive thru employees attention to ask for towels . She double cupped the tea but the issue was still there with the lid. Starbucks change your lids PLEASE!!!
