Unfortunately, when I opened up the cup, it wasn't filled to the top even with the cream, and I only asked for a little, but as you can see in the photos, I haven't even drank a sip of it yet and the cup isn't even filled. I got a tall amount and it's supposed to be a grande. It's really frustrating because this is the only Starbucks that's near my job and in the mornings it's so packed that it takes 10 to 15 minutes just to get a coffee and the one day that I tried to get a coffee half of the coffee isn't even in the freaking cup. read more

What can I really say? It's a Starbucks. I happen to like Starbucks and I may be biased because I used to work at a Starbucks when I was in high school and it was a very positive experience. I also like Dunkin Donuts coffee but there's something about the Starbucks atmosphere. They create the third space between home and work- a place we can go to read, work, socialize, or veg out. The music is chill and the products are cute and seasonal. I always feel very at home and comfortable spending large amounts of time here. I like the Starbucks on Bay to Bay because the staff is very friendly, it's a large location, it has a lot of parking, and it has a nice patio. They could clean the patio tables more diligently but they are pretty busy. read more

I used to go here but they use leaf blowers to clean their parking lots and there is so much dust flying around the air that it cannot be healthy. I've actually stopped going to all Starbucks that have parking lots because if they do it here they probably do it at the others too. I went to this Starbucks several times and had no problem. Then one morning I was going to get coffee and there was a landscaping crew "cleaning" the parking lot with several gas powered leaf blowers. The parking lot looked like a scene from Lawrence of Arabia. It appears that this is a regular practice at many Starbucks locations. Obviously, they have chosen convenience over the health of their clients and employees. I have contacted both Starbucks and Howard Schultz directly, and I certainly haven't received a response commensurate with the hypocritical pontificating that you will find on their website concerning their devoted dedication to both the environment and their customers. The Starbucks on Bay to Bay has been my go-to study spot since I moved to South Tampa. True, my apt is just as close to about 3 other Starbucks locations, but I keep coming back to this one. They have all the necessities of a good study spot: plenty of tables, lots of easily accessible wall outlets, free wifi, a steady supply of caffeine and snacks, and clean bathroom. Most importantly, somehow the layout of this particular shop allows for pretty good seating compared to all the others I've been to. There has yet to be a time I came and there wasn't a table to study at. There's also a larger table in the back that offers lots of surface area for the laptops and books (and drinks!) for when I'm studying with a friend. Otherwise, I tend to pick to sit along the cushioned bench since my poor bottom can't handle extended periods on hard, wooden chairs. Thanks to some serious study sessions, I'm a Starbucks gold member (yea baby ;D) and can get free refills on my drink. So, I can stay well caffeinated without breaking the bank (I am a poor student after all). The staff are super friendly... and when things are slow, they sometimes dish out free samples of some yummy pastries or drinks to everyone in the shop, which always makes my day. Their patio is completely covered - no tables under umbrellas (although there are still umbrellas, I guess for double coverage). This is awesome. The bases of those umbrellas are deceptively heavy - and I've moved them probably hundreds of times - and they make me look foolish every time I try to shift them around to keep the sun off of the black metal tables that immediately hit a surface temperature of 900C when in the sun. So a completely covered patio is awesome in my book. Clean, seemed well-stocked, and they didn't mess up my iced coffee (or take long to make it, which sends me into a blinding rage if there's no line and I don't get it in less than a minute). It's a smaller Starbucks, that does not have a drive thru but they can really get things out quickly. I order ahead on the app when I am on my way to work (usually about 10mins ahead of time) and 9x's out of 10 they have it ready when I get there. The staff their goes out of there way to learn you name and make you feel like the care. I have noticed they have had the same staff for a while which is nice because they take the time to know you and your order. I once ordered at the wrong starbucks and they made it for me no questions asked, no fuss. This is probably one of my favorite stores. However be care if you go right before the high schools go to school, there is a large group of catholic school girls who go and if you get your in behind them you are going to have to wait a long time read more

My favorite Starbucks in South Tampa! They do not have a drive thru and that's one of the biggest perks. They are super quick and I've never waited long here for my drink. I've noticed there is always a ton of employees working here at a time and I love seeing that. One of the things that I believe has made Starbucks so successful is the consistency. Whether I walk in to a Starbucks in Tampa, Mid of nowhere Missouri or the cpatial of the world, NYC every time I order my Grande Soy Vanilla Latte it tastes exactly how I expect it to. The look and feel of individual franchise stores is a little unique to the city of residence but the taste is the same. The baristas are always happy, do they get free coffee is that why? THe music is always light and positive and the assortment of breads, muffins and protein boxes are always abundant. At the South Tampa location where I frequent depending on the time of day the time it takes to get my coffee varies but is never ridiculously long. If I go in it's almost certain i will run into a neighbor or friend which I like unless I haven't taken my first sip off latte. Most know to wait.... Having the options to sit outside is something I like taking advantage of but need to get there early cause so do a lot of other customers. All in all I love it. read more

I am really disappointed in this location. Why on earth would you only have 3 employees working at 7am on a Friday morning? Do you want people to get annoyed while waiting in line for 20 minutes after ordering and being late to work? This is a busy location, staff it as such! My breakfast sandwich also tasted like cardboard. I normally stop at Dunkin Donuts on Friday, but decided to try Starbucks this week because I do like their coffee slightly better. This is my favorite South Tampa Starbucks. Its always full, especially in the morning but the staff memorizes your drink if you become a regular and the outdoor seating here is covered which is unique to the South Tampa Starbucks options. There's a great Greek Restaurant next door and a Nail salon in the same shopping center so parking can be difficult but this is still my go to Starbucks in South Tampa because of the staff! read more

Every Starbucks is similar but has a twist of its own. This one is in South Tampa, is very long and narrow, and after the remodeling is a lot more laptop friendly. They no longer have the handicapped tables that are great to work on. (Yes I am a terrible person!) They do have more outlets and small metal tables. I briefly eat/drink here every now and then at this Starbucks location if I happen to be in the South Tampa bay to bay area. This location is like your average size Starbucks with decent amount of seating indoors and outdoors. Always cozy and comfortable for your coffee/tea drinking pleasure. The tea/coffee/gourmet food selections are no different from any other Starbucks. There is plenty of window for daylighting. I like the way how this location is not too busy as it's location is surrounded by a residential neighborhood in South Tampa. read more

Not a bad Starbucks. Most of the staff have been friendly and attentive. Service is not the quickest, nor do you get the feeling that there is any need to hurry but then I am an impatient one. Parking lot can sometimes be a pain but this is south Tampa after all. Love the tables outside and the the comfy indoor chairs seem to be frequently occupied by nappers... can't say I've ever napped at Starbucks....so them chairs MUST be super comfy! read more

I have visited this store for years, but in the past few months have stopped around 7:30am for coffee. Each time i have waited over 20 minutes for my drinks. As i watch the staff stumble over fulfilling call ahead orders a big crowd is formed waiting for drinks. I know its the morning rush but waiting 20 minutes for lattes is not acceptable. Plus my lattes smell burnt. Will not return to this starbucks in the morning. read more
