Went to Joffrey's a few weeks ago with a friend to try their holiday coffee flight and we loved it! All four were very good but the peppermint mocha came in number 1 for me closely followed by the chai tea, gingerbread and sugar cookie. They chose such classic holiday flavors and dressed them up so cute! I will say, it was a bit pricey for the amount you get ($15 for the flight) but my friend and I shared it as a fun experience plus the shop was decorated for Christmas and there was a little market going on just outside which added to the fun! I stopped by Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company wanting to try something new, since I usually go to Midtown Boba. It's a cute little coffee shop with minimal seating , a couple photo op booths and I saw some pastry items. ordered two drinks, one for me and one for my daughter. I had a lavender vanilla latte with coconut milk. The flavor was gentle, but I had a hard time pinpointing the lavender and vanilla compared to a similar drink I've had at Disney, which was delicious more smooth and memorable. This one leaned a bit flat for me. It also wasn't quite sweet enough, so I asked for additional sweetener (they handed me a cup of syrup), and I just added to taste ...but even then it didn't fully hit the spot. My daughter ordered the banana split smoothie, which is supposed to include strawberry, banana, blueberry, and chocolate. I specifically asked ahead of time whether it used real fruit because I wanted to avoid the added sugars and I was told it was made with frozen fruit which I appreciated since so many places rely on flavored powders. I also requested light chocolate and no added sugar. Unfortunately, the smoothie still came out much sweeter than expected. My daughter took one sip and didn't want the rest, and I couldn't finish it either. For about $15 for two drinks, it just didn't feel like a great value this time. I wouldn't say the drinks were bad...just not what we were hoping for, especially given the customization requests. I'm not sure I would come back based on this visit, but I do appreciate trying something different and can see how others might enjoy these drinks more than we did. read more

Joffrey's lured me in with a Gasparilla coffee flight. I expected fun, interesting flavors, but the reality was regular menu coffee selections with Gasparilla-themed names. That one's on me though a quick search would have told me that was the case. That said, the presentation was spectacular! The little shark artwork was so cool, and I really enjoyed all the pirate-themed details on the flight board. I also had a pastry, but honestly, it wasn't anything special. I tend to prefer soft, warm pastries over cold ones. The coffee shop itself was comfortable, and I'm a sucker for a cute sign. I've been avoiding this place for no reason, mostly at Disney, but still... I'm surprised that the coffee is actually delicious. As a 15 year drinker & coffee connoisseur, Joffrey's is actually top tier. They have specialty drinks & seasonal drinks, so it's def worth swinging by often. This was my first time trying Joffrey's knowing it's a big chain. My partner got the iced vanilla latte and it's alright. It wasn't bad, the notes was nutty and didn't have much hints of vanilla. I got the chai latte and asked for a modification since I am lactose intolerant. Though, their chai was premixed with creamer and skim milk so I was unable to make this change. The food items were a bit dry and needed some sauce. We got our stuff for to go but ended up eating in. The ambiance was like a regular coffee shop. It was a bit loud since this location didn't have much space. Overall, it was okay and with all the coffee shops on Tampa, I don't think I'd visit again. read more

Liquid cozy-like drinking velvet-that's how yummy the hot chai tea latte was on a Florida winter day. That's all I tried when I stopped in early on a cold Monday morning-and I'm glad. I could fully focus on this masterpiece and savor every sip. It was like clouds of calming, yummy reassurance. In a word: sublime! This Joffrey's location is in the Midtown development-and I was lucky to grab a parking spot on the other side of the street (it was right after opening). That spot was only good for 15 minutes, so I took that heavenly chai to go. But I'll gladly come back and park in the free garage-which is a short walk away-to sit awhile and drink in the atmosphere, along with the tea. It's a bright room, filled with natural light... and there's ample seating inside, at the counter, many tables and super cute booths. There's also curbside and covered patio seating (overlooking the central square area). Yes, I could spend some happy chill time there. That would give me a chance to sample some nibbles from the small morning menu or the grab-and-go case. The server was efficient-and told me it would take four minutes to steam the milk for this creamy creation. It was totally worth the wait. In fact, I think I need another one. I've been trying to drink more tea and less coffee while I'm out on the town and so far so good! Stopped at Joffreys in midtown for a nice hot tea it this chilly weather and unfortunately they were out of a few things and when I asked what they could recommend their interaction was very dull so I just got the decaf honey vanilla tea which takes about 4min brew time. It was done right around then so I added my sugar and left. Took forever to cool down but It was a nice light drink. You could taste definitely taste the honey flavor. Very nice read more

Cutest Valentines treat! Went to this coffee shop during February to try their valentines day coffee flight. They were able to make the mini coffees with oat milk & almond milk on request which is very accommodating! All four were so yummy and such a cute idea! I had an egg, cheese, and bacon on a croissant. Excellent. But what caught my attention was that they have four coffee drinks served all at once. Almost like the drinks at Epcot, the presentation is beautiful and definitely makes you want to order one out of curiosity. The environment, you can sit outside and sunbathe while you drink and the fans outside give a nice breeze in the morning. Out of the four drinks I am listing my most to least favorite: 1) Beach Bonfire, 2) Shark Bite, 3) Coconut Wave, and 4) Creamsicle Cold Brew. Came in to do some computer work in midtown and got the mango tango smoothie. For over $8 for a 16oz drink, it was kind of a let down to get a drink that tasted way too sweet. When I signed into the wifi I discovered I had 1 hour of complimentary wifi. That's not the cafe standard so that's why I'm giving this place 3/5. It just didn't feel very warm or inviting. Like they want you in and out, even though there is a lot of inside seating, outlets, and booths to do computer work. read more

My husband and I are in town for the Bucs playoff game staying in midtown and walked over to this little neighborhood gem. Staff was super pleasant and helpful when ordering coffee. I opted for a half decaf latte with almond milk and SF vanilla and my husband just a drip coffee. Both came out super fast and are delicious! Really a gem. I think it's a chain of sorts in the Tampa area, but really well done, exceptional service and food quality. Good menu size.

If you don't like sweet things, don't get the matcha latte. I love getting matcha lattes when I see it on the menu. I didn't expect it to be premade. They just poured it for me and when I tried it, it was way too sweet. The server was so gracious and tried to cut it with a milk of my choosing (oat milk), but it was still way too sweet. I ended up substituting it out for just one of their standard teas, which was fine and they actually made there since it took four minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered but in the morning the sun is shining so that the covering isn't that effective. Parking is standard midtown parking, which means in the free parking garages. I'm glad there's a coffee shop here and I'll definitely come back, I just won't order the matcha latte again. read more

We went here yesterday. I ordered my favorite an iced chai latte but they couldn't do it vegan because it was a powder they use that contains skim milk. So I ordered an iced earl grey tea with oat milk and it was awful. It had no taste. My husband ordered the chai latte and it was SUUUUUPER sweet. We had to mix both our drinks together. I feel like the chai latte being powder is just lazy and sucks. We only came here because I would rather spend my money at local coffee shops but now I'm wishing we just went to Starbucks. read more

When I said only one today he then proceeded to say sorry for wait. I've tried so many times to like this place. But the service is mostly awful and RUDE, and for whatever reason they almost always mess up the drink, and are snotty about it. Skip this place, plenty of other places to get coffee where people aren't rude and refuse to make the right orders. read more

Was looking for an independent and cute coffee shop to do some work. Found this place in midtown - it is cute inside and also had plenty of outdoor seating and had wifi (ask for the password from the baristas). They had a matcha latte on the menu but when i asked to get it with oat milk, they said it was already made with a premix that contained skim milk powder. They offered me a sample and it was gross and overly sweet. I appreciated that they offered me a sample - it would've been a huge mistake to order it. I ended up just getting a cup of earl grey and ordered their avocado toast. The toast was bland and tasted weird and the bread was not that good. And for a place that serves up caffeine, both of the restrooms were not working, so I ended up leaving after an hour and went to Whole Foods across the street to finish up my project. This coffee place is located in Midtown. Lovely area, there are other places to visit while in the areas Joffrey's would make a great first stop. Parking garage available & very little street park, but all free. Joffreys has outdoor, covered patio specifically for them but Midtown has a lovey lawn to enjoy your coffee, as well. My coffee was good, I've definitely had better. It was the right temperature. I got the lavender vanilla cappuccino with oat milk (forgot the vanilla but happily gave me the vanilla shot in a espresso shot). For 50cent extra, you can get a picture or symbol of your own choice "printed" on your latte. It's super cool with the right contrast and photos lighting. Sadly, I was warned by a barista that their one machine was not producing the best images and was showing extra lines on the image, so i didn't get it. They have coffee options and tea options(chai and matcha, and a menu of other hot teas). I didn't use the restroom myself, but you could smell the stinch on the side where you would wait for your drink-- granted it is two feet away from the restaurants but still eh. My friend did go into one of the bathrooms and was surprised at its presence She mentioned, "I can't believe the bathroom looked like that with all women working here." Nestled in the middle of Midtown, it's nice to have some secondary options than your normal pick-me-up! Staff was amazing! So energetic and there to assist and give options. Cold brewers - I'm a traditional black, cold brew/nitro drinker and honestly it didn't hit the spot. A bit too bitter for me, not the type that allows you to sip the coffee without cream. Latte Lovers - this is where they shine! Very unique taste of caramel and also a brûlée. They have seasonal flavors as well, and if they're anything like their traditional, worth a try! I remember Joffrey's coffee from Disney Parks stands. It was cool to see them with an actual coffee shop here in Midtown Tampa. I eat keto, so my coffee is always a custom order. They nailed it, the coffee was delicious, the ambience in the shop was modern and pleasant, and the staff was very friendly. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Joffrey's Coffee and Tea on the first day. I was immediately greeted and asked to wait. While I was waiting, I checked out the menu and goodies. I ordered the iced Chai tea & it was very good and spicy. Also, I ordered a black coffee for my mother. She said it was good as well. Then, I ordered the Chef and the Baker goodies. I got one beef empanada, one chicken empanada and a cronut. Everything was good. When I go back, I need to try the turtle cheesecake by Bassano's. The manager was telling me he only wanted to use local places for the goodies. Good choices. read more

A good piece of competition for Starbucks -though it is a totally different vibe. I ordered a skim cappuccino and we sat outside to have it. They have some fans so it is kind of nice not to be stuck in air conditioning. There are so many options here that it will be another time or two for me to try them. We had a Joffrey's in the student union at UCF that I always avoided. Not sure why? Maybe because I was a closeted Starbucks girlie who preached LOCAL coffee but wore a green apron for 60 hours a week? Anyway, I just wanna go back in time and tell that chick that Joffrey's is great. And while I am sure it's better now, especially here at Midtown where you can get an image printed on your drink - and like okay if you don't think that's the coolest thing ever I don't think we can be friends - or buy locally made pastries, or sit in a cool little cubby with speedy wifi, I have to imagine it was still probably great then. I drink pretty boring lattes with regular milk, and plain cold brew with zero anything. And for simple drinks like that to be good on their own has got to be a testament to how simply good their coffee is. And if I didn't like the drinks I would still come back anytime I am in the area (noooo not for the fancy images) but for the A+++++ customer service!
