This particular Starbucks is SO slow compared to others around town, but unfortunately is close to where I was working. Plan to wait an additional 15-20 mins on top of the apps estimated wait time. Maybe it's an app issue, but every single order is beyond late, where I have had to abandon my drink and leave without it. There seems to be no sense of urgency. Location is kept pretty clean, and particular layout is appealing. Just don't come here if you have places to be or plans for the day. read more

The customer service was good. The drive thru design is tight. I'm grateful and surprised they could squeeze a store in the location. I stopped by this Starbucks while on vacation. Drive thru was quick and easy. Staff was friendly enough, not very chatty but no issues. I didn't go inside, though it looked clean and pretty busy from what I could see. My drink was good, nothing special this time but it hit the spot. After I dropped my car off at the dealership for service, I came over for a quick brekkie and a much-needed coffee fix. The cafe's open area appeals to me. My only grievance is that the barista neglected to inquire if I needed space for cream when I ordered a hot grande caramel coffee. I ought to have recalled to request it as well. It was a little unpleasant since when I got my coffee, it was so full that it spilled and I had to ask for another cup (note that I'm really slow because I haven't had my coffee yet). This Starbuck's was my first stop when I landed in Tampa. It is close to the airport which was nice because I didn't want to get too far away since I had an hour or two to kill before my sister arrived and I wanted a nice relaxing spot to hang out close by. I got in around 11:00am on a Thursday and there was no line and a handful of people at the tables. I got my new favorite: a hot decaf Americano with sugar free cinnamon dulce syrup and almond milk. This location may be the busiest but has the rudest baristas. This Starbucks is located on Westshore, next to Ruth Chris's Steakhouse. Not to fret, there are plenty of parking spots available. If in a hurry, there's also a drive-thru feature at this location. Lots of seating available inside and outside the coffee shop. I usually indulge on a hazelnut macchiato whereas my date gets a tea. This particular visit, I had the chocolate croissant. It was mediocre, the layers weren't flaky. Overall, not a good visit. read more

This is my neighborhood Starbucks,which makes it the best!! (For me!!!) I love when I walk in and everyone says Hi! or Good morning!! They are (mostly) so friendly! I think when they aren't it's because they're either a he trainer or trainee and their mind is exploding. Seriously, not sure but I feel like this Starbucks is the training center of Tampa!! How grueling that must be and they STILL smile at me! This is a typical Starbucks as far as offerings, no wine, appetizers or fancy desserts like other ones I've heard of, but I've had my share of Starbucks around the US and Europe and have had to return a cup or two for burnt taste, wrong order, etc. Not here. I come here 54-5 days a week when I'm in town and have never had a mistake! Ever. I just picked up my mobile order from this Starbucks and I had an excellent experience so I wanted to make sure to leave this rating. I usually drink blonde espresso but, I ordered regular espresso in my drink by accident. The lady at the drive thru told me they were happy to remake it and told her don't worry, because it was my mistake. She was adamant that I get the drink I wanted so with a long line of cars behind me, she had my drink remade quickly. In my eyes they did not have to do that since I ordered incorrectly. But this truly was exceptional customer sevice in my book (and I used to work for Nordstrom if that tells you what level of customer service I'm used to getting/giving). I go here almost two days a week and i get the same thing; venti iced white mocha with sweet cream foam and caramel drizzle. So it's supposed to be a sweet drink but that's not what I got today. An employee in there put salt in my drink and left the package in my drink as well, I had to scoop the paper salt package out. I just left this Starbucks and immediately pulled my car over into some random parking lot because I HAD to write them a review. It's Tampa..on a Thursday morning..at 7:30 am. I got into the drive thru line behind 7+ cars thinking to myself, oh joy.. this is probably going to take a while. I kid you not, I was ordering within 3 or so minutes and they had my cheese danish and latte (which was made to absolute perfection) to me *in under a minute.* Don't know what kind of magic these barista wizards are using back there, but I have never been so impressed/mind-blown in my life. I came to this Starbucks to get some work done on my laptop. I got there around 7 PM on a Monday evening. There was almost no one sitting in the seating area, which is a good thing if you're coming to work. I like to grab an area to sit at a Starbucks that has one of the studio lights pointed directly at the table, and luckily I got a two-top table like that. I did notice that there were only one or two spots like this though. I worked up until 9 PM at which point they closed. I was surprised a Starbucks was closing at 9 PM, but given the traffic on a Monday night I guess I am not surprised. People came in and out to order but there were certainly not that many people staying / sitting down at this location. Overall my experience was what you would typically expect from a Starbucks. It was clean and the staff did not get your attention or anything while you were working. I would definitely recommend this Starbucks if you work in the area and need to get away to knock out a project. read more

I like Starbucks, however, this location is one of my least favorite, due to the parking lot/drive thru situation. However, I was in the area and too early to show up at a meeting, so I stopped in. The drive thru took 13 minutes from when I pulled in until when I pulled out. I would give that a 1 star. I am giving 4 starts to this location because of the employees.
