I visited this location and went inside because the drive-thru was busy. I ordered a tall drink inside and was told it would be right out. 15 minutes later, my drink was still missing. When I asked about it, staff were dismissive, stating they had many drinks ahead of us and were training.After waiting nearly 20 minutes, I requested a refund. Immediately after the refund went through, my drink was completed so I took it, and pointed at walking out as if I hadn't been waiting the entire time. The drink was bound to be thrown out. A warning about wait times at checkout would have deterred me. If a store is understaffed, they should let customers know and update their app. No priority for people who get out of the car to order? Maybe I am wrong this in this day and age and drive through takes priority? Shoutout to the cashier, though--she was helpful. read more

Stopped here twice within a week, and the experience was very similar each time. The staff were nice and friendly, but the service was SLOW! I ordered a peppermint mocha both times, the first peppermint mocha came out cold and it didn't have whipped cream and chocolate pieces. The second time, they ran out of mocha, so they substituted white chocolate. It came out warm this time, it again came without the whipped cream and chocolate chunks, and it tasted off because it was made with white chocolate. The staff here are great. I stopped at this exact Starbucks when I was halfway on a local Ohio trip. In truth, I had (and still have) no idea about this area in general but a Starbucks always feels like a good place to take a rest while driving. I bought a travel coffee mug to use for the trip I was en route to. Only 30 mins later when back on the road, I received a big surprise in the car that the travel mug was very poorly made and was straight-up burning my hand (not the local stores fault, but the maker). A few days later, I came back to return when I stopped halfway again on the way home. The same girl who sold it to me effortlessly returned it and was very helpful. Great customer service! The inside is very clean and the staff was super efficient with their service. I just need to shout out what an AMAZING job this team and their new manager are doing at getting this once high-volume store up and running again! I am a Starbucks partner at another store, but this location is close to my home, so I go there on my days off. For the last 6 months of living by this store, I've always had an "okay" experience. I know some of the partners and they're always great. But when interacting with baristas who didn't know I work for the company, it was never great. (I'll also note that I have a SUPER annoying drink order so I 100% get the annoyance when I come by ) Because my drink is extra annoying, I also don't think I've EVER actually gotten it made correctly at any Starbucks location other than the one I work at. (That more of a me-problem lol) But today, I was BLOWN AWAY by the service I received!! First, I was very excited to see that the store is now open from 6am-3pm (DT only) instead of just being open 7am-11am. I was also shocked/excited to see that there wasn't a crazy long line either! When I pulled up to the speaker, the baristas who greeted me was SOOO kind and genuinely sounded happy to be there. She was also extremely patient and kind while taking my complicated order. The drive thru line was moving SO quickly this morning. The line wasn't short because they had no customers, the line was short because they were obviously working very hard and very efficiently in there! When I got to the window, the barista was very friendly, welcoming, and didn't appear to be stressed or overwhelmed like she has in previous weeks/months. As I waited for me drink, I could here the drive-thru barista double checking with the bar-barista making sure she understood all of my weird drink modifications... I received my drink pretty quickly, and to my surprise, THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME that ANY Starbucks has ever made my drink exactly the way I like it! This store and these baristas have been through a lot over the past few months, but I am SO, SO, happy to see that they are finding their footing and clearly being led by a manager who cares about both the partner experience AND the customer experience. They ripped us off! We went here today to pickup a mobile and after waiting 45 minutes it never came out. There was a line of people getting refunds, and we had to leave, but called their corporate office to politely request a refund. They said they could only credit us the 25 stars (we used), but not the $8 they charged. Starbucks scammed us! Why 2 star review? A road trip isn't complete without coffee, right? Well, during a recent trip up I-71 I picked something that I usually don't order, a sweet treat, The Caramel Ribbon Crunch frappuccino at Starbucks. This location was conveniently located off the highway with plenty of parking. My visit was on a Thursday morning and there were only a few customers inside, so I was able to make a quick in and out. Ordered at the counter, held a small conversation with the barista about the multiple variations to the matcha latte they can make. There is a spot designated for mobile order pickup which is nice. I go to this Starbucks very, very frequently. Typically every day. Everyone is so kind and tries their hardest to get your beverages or snacks to you as soon as possible. However, this location has been closing recently at very strange hours. At 3pm or even 2pm they will be closed for the day. Other Starbucks locations around my area are also closing at strange times. This is scaring me for real because I never know what time they will be closing for the day. I wonder what is going on- maybe the locations near me are all under staffed? Honestly have not been having the best day and stopped at this Starbucks for a quick drink for a drive home. I have never received such great service at a Starbucks. They welcomed me in amidst the large amount of people waiting on drinks. They were busy for sure, but they were also moving extremely fast to get each person's order done efficiently. I went to this Starbucks on a road trip and it was overall pretty nice. It was very clean and the service was fast. My only qualm was with the barista who took our order. Maybe she was having a bad day which is understandable since it's 9am, but she was very rude and snapped at me when i asked a question about the coffee. I constantly find that the drive thru like is wrapped around the building but they somehow still manage to get me through it in under 10 minutes which I think is very impressive. This was the first Starbucks I've been to where the employees had a difficult time with my order. I must have repeated my order over 5 times before the girl who helped me figured out what I wanted. This is the first time a "Skinny Vanilla Soy Latte" was an issue for the employee. I was the only person waiting in line at the time and it still took forever to get my drink. Convenient location for us if headed to I-71...which makes it a frequent stop. Atmosphere: This is a decent sized location with indoor and outdoor seating available. However, there isn't a lot of indoor seating, so don't depend on finding somewhere to sit. It doesn't feel as intimate as other Starbucks locations we've visited, mainly because the line can easily wind around to the seating area and they have large windows next to the seating (which look out on the parking lot and gas station). The store has always been clean whenever we've visited. Pick up is a little crowded at times since it's near the front door, so many people get confused as to whether they are supposed to stand there or elsewhere to order. Staff: Fantastic! Whether we decide to go in or go through the drive thru, they are always super friendly and personable. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome! Food/drinks: never had an issue with anything we've ordered! NOTE: if you aren't from the area, follow many of the other reviews as to how to gain entrance to it. This strip of restaurants and hotels was not well thought out because you cannot access the road to it easily. Directions: When you get off the Interstate heading west on 36/37, make sure you are in the right lane. Go TO the stop light and turn right. Follow the road and turn right when you have the hotel in front of you. take the second driveway on the right and you're there! Do NOT go through the gas station as that causes a very dangerous situation. read more

Whenever I'm making the I-71 drive north this is my go-to Sbux stop. This was once a A&W Root Beer stand that was upgraded to a nice coffee shop with friendly baristas, great wifi and some comfy places to sit for weary travelers. While this place sits off the busy highway, it is not an easy place to get to if you are not familiar with the area. I seen many people cut thru the very busy BP parking lot instead of turning at the traffic light at Eastwind Drive. The drive-thru staff here does a pretty good job of getting orders out and always leave me with a smile on my face. A reliable, if slow, drive-thru Starbucks with easy access to the I-71 freeway. This Starbucks is fine - the people are friendly, the selection is the same as anywhere else, and it's the last Starbucks for like 100 miles on i-71, so it's the right place to caffeine-up before the mind-numbing drive to Cleveland. The only problem is that it's slow. It's not a quick off-and-on. I stopped for a coffee and it took 15 minutes: 3 to wind my way through the stoplights to get to the Starbucks (situated in front of a hotel, along a crowded driveway), 10 to get my coffee, and 2 to get back on the freeway. I wish there was better access, and I wish the barristas moved the cars through faster. Bottom line - stop here for energy before I-71 sucks it out of you. But it will kill your trip time. read more
