Bad service - out of product all the time - rude staff at times. Drive thru was terrible

Why did I ask if they had chocolate frosted donuts with sprinkles and the worker put someone else on the intercom to say "We don't have chocolate frosted donuts with sprinkles and we never have". I have never felt worse for asking such an innocent question! Yikes! read more

This was our first time at a Tim Hortons. They didnt have any strawberry dip donuts or hash browns to go with our sandwiches. The wife wanted just egg whites and they can't do that, I thought every place could do that, guess not. I got a Coke and then come to find out they don't do refills on coke....again I thought everyone gives refills, guess not. The sandwiches were OK but not great and the wife's vanilla latte was bland and had very little vanilla flavor. The place was dirty and slow. They had biscuits in a bag laying on the pick up counter and no donuts in the display case. Not sure if we will give it a second chance. read more

ZERO STARS!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The older lady taking our order in the drive through messed up multiple times. She was terrible at taking orders. We got to the window and they handed us our drinks and said "is that it have a good day" umm our sandwich and hash browns and 40 pack of timbits?? And The latte I got had clumps and tasted like garbage. They told us to pull around front to wait for egg for the sandwich which we did. Then the hash brown was cold and stale and the sandwich didn't have egg. My husband looked in the timbits all sprinkle except for 2??? Couldn't even take 3 sips of my latte. My husband went back and the workers only response was "yeah I don't know how to make that" THEN WHY ARE YOU MAKING IT?? THE WORST SERVICE FROM EVERYONE WE INTERACTED WITH I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. This Tim Hortons is the worst! I keep going back and I don't know why. There isn't one time when I have ever had the right order. I ordered a farmers wrap which is suppose to have eggs, hash browns and bacon. I got hash browns and uncooked bacon only. They either are out of everything or you get the wrong order. Who owns or manages this restaurant? They should be ashamed! Does any of them care what service or food they are putting out? When you pull up to the drive thru window more than half the employees are rude and they don't care what they are handing you. I was at this location in Sunbury this morning September 10th at 10:30 am. I ordered number 6 combo meal. I said do you have hash browns and she said no. I said you don't? And just another "no". i said you Usually don't run out of hash browns till around 2. She said, we stop selling them at 11. It was 10:30. Instead of asking if I'd like to substitute something else since it was a combo meal and they had no hash browns, all she said was "so you want a coffee and sandwich? I said yes. Got to the window hands me my coffee that was barely warm and hands me my sandwich with a couple napkins on top. No bag. This location is also famous for always getting your order wrong. This Tim Hortons never fails to piss me off. I have never had a good experience here. There is always something wrong with my food, or they are unprepared. Although the workers are friendly and pleasant, the line and wait through the drive through is about the same as a sit down restaurant. I've waited 20 mins to just get a regular coffee before, there's no way to get out of line once you're around the back. The avocado toast is more like avocado bread and heavily salted. They also don't have many employees and would close down early or. Or open till late some days. I do love TH coffee but I'm going to have to find an alternative. Besides the point system is now not has nice. Used to be like 80 points for a coffee now it's 400 or something like that. I just watched two workers standing around doing nothing and talking the ear off the one employee actually working. Guess I know why the are slow today. read more

You have a better chance of getting a warmer and correct meal from the dumpster out back, at least then you wouldn't be paying for it. We don't eat meat. We got bacon on our breakfast sandwiches so we went back. They interrupted while we were explaining what happened. They were out of biscuits so we then had to park and wait. I stop by this location on my way to work quite frequently, and every time I do the Employees are so beyond nasty it genuinely shifts my mood. I know it's early and that's probably the last place they want to be but have a better attitude, it's not that hard. The employees at the Sunbury, Ohio location are just downright nasty. Apparently when I was reading off my order I wasn't speeding through it fast enough for them. Then when I got up there, after being pressured through my order, I realized I left a muffin off and asked for one--simple enough request to add a muffin to a bag, right?. They treated me like I had just kicked their dog. They threw all the stuff into 10 different tiny bags, making it impossible to verify what I'd gotten. They ended up not giving me my kids juice box and gave me the wrong donuts....but had I gone back I'm sure I would have been met with more rolling eyes and exasperated sighs for expecting my order to be correct. What happened to service with a smile? Next time I'll go across the street to Starbucks, where I'll pay twice as much, but at least the service is top notch. read more

It's easy if you just drive around back she will be out there smoking and cussing at someone on her cell phone. Every single time I go to the location I leave there disappointed and frustrated. Today we went around 11:00. It took us almost 10 mins to just get up to the speaker. The lady was rude from the start and just said "go ahead with your order". Their menu screens weren't working so I politely let her know and she said, "yep we know". Her tone was so unfriendly and she was clearly annoyed. Without a menu I just ordered a doughnut, bagel and coffee. Once we finally got up to the window, the lady standing at the area to make the sandwiches and bagels was covered in food. Cream cheese smeared on her back and who knows how long she had been wearing that same pair of gloves. There was stuff all over the floor, the counters and window was filthy. I sat and waited another 5 minutes for someone to bring over my coffee. I have no idea where the window tenant went. The coffee was handed to me with coffee all over it so I asked for extra napkins and the girl rolled her eyes. The bagel was dried out and cold. I always leave there saying that I won't ever go back but then I decide to give it another chance and always disgusted. After all of the complaints over the past few years I can't believe things haven't improved. We've had issues before at this particular Tim Horton's location but today was "it"... We will NOT be returning to this store again!! Prior visits have included poor customer service, poor food quality, and incorrect orders - which we experienced with "drive thru" as well as "eat in" dining. But you figure all places can have an "off" day or maybe have some difficulties getting "good" help -- so you try to give them the benefit of the doubt... However, after today, we're just done with this place... My husband went to get us a weekend morning "treat" of donuts. First he got an incorrect order, then when he approached them to fix the order, they were rude AND in the midst of correcting THEIR mistake, the guy interrupted taking care of my husband to hold a conversation with a co-worker!! Finally he got our order but for some unknown reason they opted to put an iced donut into a flat bag that I believe is designed to hold a bagel or a cookie -- NOT a donut and I will include a picture of the result with this review!! The icing was basically melded to the bag -- we had to rip the bag to even get the donut out -- and of course most of the icing was on the bag -- NOT the donut -- at that point! My recommendation??! STAY AWAY! Don't waste spending your money at this place! Until they start caring more about their customers, you'll just be throwing your money out the window because you either won't get what you ordered OR even if you do, it will be of such poor quality, you'll regret paying for it! read more

I've waited to review this location because I wanted to see if it would get better. The building is nice and in a good location, the staff is always friendly, and the ice caps are always perfect! So this all gets them 3 stars. I always get a sausage egg and cheese English muffin and they are just not good. The sausage is almost slimy feeling. The sandwiches I would get had cheese but they literally threw a piece of square cheese on the sandwich and it wasn't even hot or melted. I thought maybe it was just because they were really busy so I've continue to give them a shot. This time I opted for bacon egg and cheese since the sausage is gross every time. It was much better and really good. However, the darn cheese again was thrown on cold and not melted onto the sandwich. They were busy but the drive through line was moving fast...I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself when I say we are willing to wait the extra 10 seconds it would take the teams to melt the cheese. Who wants to eat a warm sandwich with cold cheese? McDonald's has better sandwiches than this place - the sausage isn't slimy there and they actually melt down the cheese on the sandwich. If they would just take that simple step I'd keep getting food. Go forward I'm just gonna stick to my iced cap. Maybe other locations don't have this problem? I always hate to post a negative review but after an experience that I had on Sunday I have to post something about this Tim Horton's franchise. I came in around 12:30pm on Sunday after camping in the area to get a few donuts for my kids and some drinks. I had to come inside because I was towing my RV trailer behind my truck. Upon arriving inside, there were two people in front of me and no one behind me. My son and I stood next in line by the counter. They were obviously focusing all of their attention on the drive thru, as they had several employees there, but only one at the front register to take orders and fill them. As the two in front of me were getting their orders, a couple came in from outside. The gentleman of the couple walked over to the counter in front of me as if he was looking at what they had in the case, while his wife stood behind me. As the two in front of me got their order, the boy running the register started to talk to the couple that had just come in and then started waiting on them in front of me. Mind you at this point I had been standing inside for about 10 minutes. The boy running the register knew I had been waiting. I don't like to cause a scene so I just told myself to be patient but this couple was new to Tim Horton's and were asking questions about everything. The boy looked at me several times but never once offered to have someone come over and take care of me. I waited another 10-15 minutes while he took this couple's order and then filled it. Finally, after waiting almost a half an hour, he took my order. He never once said anything about my wait and I just figured I would let it go. I ordered a few drinks and a 20-pack of Tim Bits for my kids. He asked me if I wanted a certain kind or assorted. I said assorted, just mix them up. After I finally got my order and got out to my truck, my daughter (who is 3 and loves getting Tim Bits every time I go to Tim Horton's) started to throw a fit. They filled the entire 20-pack with plain Tim Bits. No assortment. Just plain ones. My daughter ended up throwing a fit and not eating any - money down the drain. In the end, maybe I should've said something to the couple that cut but that was just the part of it. Taking 10-15 minutes per customer in line and then messing up the orders after specifically asking what I wanted is a little too much. I know the girl in front of me also had her order messed up after she was also asked specifically what she wanted on her bagel. I go to a Tim Horton's almost every day to get tea and I have never had an experience like this one. I will never be back to this franchise. read more

If I could give this location "The Worst Tim Horton's of all time", I would. Honestly it saddens me that customer service could be so horrible. First of all, it's my birthday. We are stuck in the car (with a dog and infant) and I really wanted a Tim Hortons donut because we don't have them around North Carolina. I was so pumped. I walk in and the lady is playing with some receipt paper. I'm looking at the glass to see what my options are but I figured it would be no problem since we just one PLAIN REGULAR GLAZED DONUT AND one CHOCOLATE FROSTED. Nothing even fancy but just ya know, you'd think a DONUT place would have more than muffins, and 50 raspberry stuffed donuts. I have the photos of the case.... I asked if that was all they had and she said yah, then looked back down to doodle or whatever she was doing. I was livid. We went out of our way to get to this location and we all know traveling with a baby is no easy task. It's 2pm - I understand it's a low volume rate for people wanting donuts but not having or even attempting to make regular glazed donuts is like walking into a krispy kreme and they saying they have no donuts to offer you, tough luck. I am highly disappointed and will be letting ALL of my family in friends in Ohio know not to visit this location again. Why even stay open until 8? Just close and save yourself the trouble and money if that's how you want to treat your customers. Awful! And this is the first review I have ever felt compelled to do, so no, I'm not just a jerk that has nothing better to do. Get it together. Or get a new management. read more

Now I understand that they were probably all taken care of drive-thru customers, but since I haven't even been greeted by that time I didn't see the reason to stand around and hope that someone would notice me. Literally downloaded the app just to write this review. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and what I got was some steak slapped on an egg and biscuit. And when I say some steak I meant SOME. there wasn't even enough to fully cover the cheese underneath. I used to go there every single morning and ask for my ice coffee to be EXTRA stirred, every single time. All but two mornings I received the iced coffee not stirred at all. I've worked at a Tim Hortons and I know they are INSTRUCTED to stir the coffee even when a customer didn't ask. I've been to this location several times because it is close to my work. I have never once had my drink made correctly. And, once I even heard an employee laughing about how she didn't know how to make it. I order a cafe mocha every time, no special instructions or anything, just the normal cafe mocha from the menu. Additionally, they are pretty slow even at the drive through. The employees are friendly though. If you don't care what you end up getting and you have time to spare, I would recommend going here. read more
