Rudest worker this morning on 11/6. Bearista glass cup dropped today. I got there at 3:30 in the morning to make sure I get this glass cup. Doors opened at 5am , right at 5am I walk in ask for the bear cup and she told me they don't have it and that them workers had boughten the glasses for themselves. Mind you there is 4 other people in line with me waiting for doors to open up at 5am to purchase this cup. I do not think it should be allowed for workers to purchase limited edition items first especially before the store is even open because it doesn't allow for guest to be able to purchase. And secondly she was just rude on top of it. Didn't welcome us guest in and just had attitude while talking. read more

Small parking lot always has more cars on it than people in the store. Drive thru always very busy. Stopped on the redeem the happy hour coupon that I had received via email. Was told that I could not use on a hot drink, although coupon specifically prohibited use on a Frappuccino. Anywho, paid full price, which did not bother me that much. The wait of over 10 minutes did bother me. Only 3 people in front of me in line, and 7 persons working. Not sure why took so long, but some of the staff seemed to be running back and forth while accomplishing little. Wish there was another Starbucks between statesville and Virginia. read more

I had gotten a frappuccino from a Starbucks store in WV that was nothing like it was supposed to be. I decided to call ahead to the Statesville store on Broad St. as I traveled south to ask what the policy was about such things. Even though it wasn't their mistake at all, nor their responsibility to do a "make good" on it, "Jen" told me they would be happy to honor the purchase & make me another drink. I frequent this Starbucks quite often when I'm working in the area. Staff are always very friendly and pretty quick mixing up some goodness. Ive gone inside, used curb side pickup and the drive thru. All were were well organized. I have my particular go to drink saved as a mobile order and for the most part it's usually made up correctly. However recently when I've asked for two pumps of the syrup they add 6 pumps.....which is far to sweet for my buds to handle. I love my local Starbucks! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. This visit was super special because I wanted a frappuccino I heard about on TikTok. The cashier and barista were trying to figure out what ingredients would pair well together. After asking me a series of questions we decided on an apple pie frappuccino that was out of this world delicious. I literally sat in my car and devoured the entire venti drink. They made my sandwich perfectly. Perfect amount of ham and the perfect amount of Swiss. it was amazing.

My favorite thing about Starbucks is it's atmosphere. Whether it's to do classwork or talk to friends it's the perfect location! It's a very inviting environment. This location isn't the biggest but it does have a decent amount of tables to sit at. The service is accurate and fast. During rush hour the parking lot can become very busy with cars trying to park or waiting in line for the drive thru. It makes it very difficult to maneuver around the parking lot at that time. Overall, this is a decent Starbucks for those basic Frappuccino's and Latte's lovers. read more

While Starbucks is as a whole a good experience and their products good. We have visited several locations around North Carolina. In trips to the Midwest there have been stops along the way at Starbucks. Over all those experiences have been good. However, this Statesville location has seemed to have service issues in the three times we have visited. On one occasion they were out of the proper size cups and made the coffee in a larger cup. Which was so strong it was not drinkable. When we complained and asked if the incorrect size cup may have thrown off their formula. They replied no. This last visit the women's restroom had no paper products. Not sure why this location is so troubled. 2018 April 4; today's experience was really good. Heather took the order and was very polite and helpful. The young man asked questions and made sure the order was right. Very good job indeed. I am updating to 3 stars this time and will check back later. There was one negative. Restrooms. Men's was out of order and women's was not stocked. Needed attention. read more

Service was great. Ordered the Strawberry Açaí with lemonade and it was great. Lots of strawberry's in it and the right color. Sometimes I get at other locations and it looks more like a pink lemonade and has no strawberry's. My only complaint was that I ordered with LIGHT ice and they packed the cup with ice. Waited 15 minutes on the drive thru on a Saturday afternoon. Honestly I wasn't too upset about that. But after taking a few sips of my peppermint mocha I felt something soft floating in my mouth. Looked in my drink and there are small chunks of what look like a cookie or bread or something. Absolutely disgusting. Also there's a weird film on the top of the beverage and it looks like oil in it too. I've had many peppermint mochas in my 32 years and none with chunks, oil or a film. We decided to pass through the drive through on our way through Statesville on a road trip. All in all, great service. It's hard to say much without having personally been inside the establishment, but the staff was friendly and helpful, which was quite a relief for our road-addled minds. They had run out of grande cups before making our drinks, so they basically ended up upgrading our order to venti sizes for free. It was a really great way to start the morning and helped give us the pep we needed to continue on our way. The drinks of course were up to Starbucks' high standards. Our Frappuccinos were excellently made and well-blended, and if we ever happen to drive through Statesville again, we'll probably be swinging by this location to get our caffeine fix. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience today! Josh should NOT BE making lattes...or in front of customers! Where's Waldo hat wearing doofus first makes my latte wrong, then THROWS IT OUT without asking, when it could have been given to someone in line who did order a skinny latte! Not once, but TWICE, he sprayed me with hot milk and then was put out by my wanting a towel, not a paper napkin. Then, when he FINALLY gets the two lattes I order made, tells me that the cookies I ordered via mobile app are not available at the store. I had to go find them myself, but COME ON!! Next, the entire store is in chaos today. Drive through line wrapped around building, into street blocking traffic. If I'd not paid in advance I would have walked out when I saw I would have to park at the gas station next door. They need to turn off mobile orders OR update to show 20 + minute wait if its like this! FTR horrible latte I can't drink - tastes burnt and milk has weird flavor, almost like it is going bad. The drive through line usually looks long but the line moves so quickly here.... and mind you the parking lot is small (it's a coffee shop not a mall, I'm not sure why this is a complaint for folks) so it's always going to appear to be busy. Visited mid-afternoon as a break from the rainy drive between Asheville and Raleigh. I kept seeing the Starbucks logo with an arrow pointing downward, so I knew it had to exist somewhere. Is this a "Secret Starbucks"? Sounds trendy and exclusive! After a little wandering around in a hotel parking lot I was able to locate the entrance. For that, I blame the company not the staff. Every time I order here my order never gets called and when I ask, it has been forgotten. It's always the same. I've stopped here on occasion, typically toward the beginning of a westward drive home toward Dallas. It's a fairly quick off and on to I-77, at least going North. Typical Starbucks fare, you get your injection of caffeine and sugar and you're good on the road for another few hours. Sadly, this is the ONLY Starbucks in my town. Yes, we have other places but I am lactose intolerant so I really like that Starbucks has different types of dairy free milk options. This location is the absolute SLOWEST I have ever been to. I've been able to walk into a crowded mall during the week of Christmas and get through their line faster than I do if I go to the drive thru here. I'm paying $6 for a coffee just to spend am extra 20 minutes waiting for you to make it?? I get that it gets busy and some of the drink orders aren't super easy to just whip up, but come on.
