The reviews about this place taking forever are legit... There have been times where I have had to leave after waiting 30 minutes because I'm going to be late for an appointment etc. I have heard people waited 45 minutes for their drinks as I was in line. Typically this is because of either short staffing or huge drink orders coming through, which I understand but there are also times where it seems it is short staffed or they are out of products, etc. The drink quality can be hit and miss, but I understand this probably has to do with the experience of the workers. Going during a busy time will create a negative experience, but in general it gets the job done. read more

I don't frequent Starbucks like some people mostly because this location is the closest to me and is inside Martin's. Because of this in the past I haven't been able to redeem my birthday reward but that may have changed. While we were there today we were able to use the app to pay, so I suspect things may have changed. The location in Stevensville is a stand alone store but I haven't gotten the chance to go yet. My husband got a Starbucks gift card so we decided to stop into this location. I like the Chai Tea at Starbucks and have been ordering it for years, but my husband doesn't have a normal order. This Starbucks is inside martins and technically has Martins employees and you cannot use your starbucks rewards (aka free drinks) you can however pay with your starbucks card in the app here. Being a past starbucks employee i know exactly how I like my drink made and have modifications to my drink. It's not difficult, it's actually a simplified version of the drink. It's rarely correct so I have to ask for things on the side. Whatever. My issue is that I've ordered more than once and the employee (pretty sure she's the manager) has a snarky attitude, look and comment about making such a specific drink. It's just unnecessary and I order something else when she's there because I don't like being the customer that gets talked about. I order the same drink at the location in Niles and never have an issue and they actually know the order before I even open my mouth. I'm from south bend so there's no shortage of starbucks there, so now when I come get starbucks it's out of my way and something I have to plan and it's not a part of my daily routine. Now it's just kind of anxiety inducing. As soon as there is a drive through location in Stevensville I will be going there. one of my favorite Starbucks in Michigan love the staff . some of my favorite drinks I've had . thanks to all the smiling, kind , faces their . will miss the great service . my favorite drinks are A coconut milk vanilla Cappuccino , latte and a cinnamon dolce , white chocolate macadamia nut with almond milk . they have the best Coconut and Oatly oats milk around . highly recommend. there is plenty of free parking at the Martin's grocery store and cafe seating . come by for a drink and ask for Katie , Zoe, Chloe , AJ , KAIT. read more

I wouldn't even give it a star if there was an option for that. This place absolutely sucks and they don't know how to make the drinks correctly. You have to ask for your drinks to be remade quite often. The manager has a snarky attitude and doesn't care about her job. She seems to be on some type of high horse. I usually don't have any issue coming to this location on my way to work, however the young man taking orders the other day was extremely rude and condescending when I inquired about certain substitutes. His name began with a G, I'm fairly certain. But it really ruined the whole exchange. I was asking an honest question with maybe one person in line behind me and it wasn't a stupid question by any means. He had the overall attitude that he didn't want to be there and didn't want to help me at all, that all this was below him. I felt upset when I walked away to wait for my order, because my experiences here in the past have been nothing but pleasant. I'm not asking for the queen treatment, I don't need you to kiss my shoes or anything, but common human decency would be nice, especially in a small town where word can travel fast. I go to way more Starbucks that I review. I mean how much can differ from Starbucks reviews? I only go out of my way to write them if they get a one or a five star rating. This location is located inside a grocery store so technically it is not a Starbucks even though it is a Starbucks. Yes they made a good drink but the staff here was just fun. Not only in a happy friendly kind of way but a actuall looking like they were having fun working together. You don't find that kind of chemistry in many crews anywhere. Coffee is fine, although the regular brew usually tastes a bit acidic. You can make small purchases from the supermarket bakery at this location, so it's great for Saturday morning donut runs. I wouldn't stop at this Starbucks just for the coffee as there are much better local coffee places in town that have smoother roasts and better atmosphere. Being inside a supermarket means you have a pretty industrial eating experience. read more

This is the best Starbucks I have been to!! I have been to at least 20 different ones and this one is the fastest, most professional, and happiest workers I have ever seen!! Highly recommend this Starbucks to everyone!!! I go there at least 6 times a week and they are perfect every time! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. Every time I go to this location I never have an issue. The girls are very nice, I have never received a bad drink... yeah it's not a big Starbucks, this is a small town... from what I've seen Saint Joseph likes having family owned shops. I love the employees at St. Joseph's Starbucks. They always get me hooked on new drinks. I'm usually a cappuccino drinker, but lately I've been trying new things. If they suggest a new drink and I don't like it, they make me something different. Lately I have been drinking a quad Venti nonfat iced latte with four pumps Toffee nut. I've given this location a few chances and each time I am disappointing. If it's not the long lines its the always disappointing taste of their coffee. I travel a lot and I try and go to Starbucks when I need a quick coffee fix. I've been to locations where baristas put love into each cup. Not the case here. Doesn't help that they do not have a drive thru either. Thumbs down on this location. I'd rather drive an extra mile down the road and go to one of their local coffee shops. they've gone down hill. most of the time my drinks do not taste right or they are wrong, there's no consistency. some cashiers act annoyed when ordering and don't even know their menu. I just spent 4 dollars on a drink that I did not want and order. Cant wait for the one in stevensville to open, will drive the extra 7 minutes to get a quality good drink. read more

I'm addicted to Starbucks chai lattes and since this is the only Starbucks in the area I frequent this location often. The drinks are good and the service is usually friendly, but it's so slow! I usually go in the morning so a line is expected, but I've learned that if I'm in a hurry this is not the place to stop. Off peak hours are generally better. read more
