D Spot Cafes have three different concepts: dessert only, mid concept, and full concept. This location serves the full menu, meaning there are a lot more savoury items, like burgers, hotdogs, pizzas, sandwiches, and poutines. Aside from their regular big menu, they have a Kid's menu and a Breakfast menu. The staff were very attentive. When they saw that my milkshake was dripping and I was trying to clean it up with napkins, they brought more. During their grand-opening day, they advertised that they have buy-one-get-one free. The first thing they told me was they only applied when you buy two identical items. I thought that wasn't normal. And what was i going to do considering i'm there by myself. I got an exemption with essentially paying for the higher-priced item, and getting the cheaper-priced item free; this is the normal BOGO. After I chose my 2 items carefully, they checked and found out it only applied mojito, cake slices, croffles, and poutine categories; and the BOGO items must come from the same category! The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are four gender-neutral washrooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible.
