What a strange experience I just had. I ordered a cafe latte add brown sugar with two pink cake pops. I was told no pink cake pops are available. They are sold out. And the store only had one cake pop left, one chocolate. Ok so I pulled up to DT window. I saw in the Starbucks team members hand, a pink cake pop. She put it in a bag & placed it by my order. Then handed me my drink. Not my cake pop yet. She presented the card reader, watching my selection, so I paid, & selected no tip. She then reached to the counter behind her, grabbed a bag, handed it to me & walked away. I had my order so I left. My coffee had Zero brown sugar in it. $0.80 for nothing. No 'thank you' No 'have a nice day' No napkin. No receipt Very rude to me at the window. It's difficult to not think it's because I didn't tip. And maybe I would have tipped got my pink cake pop? (It's for my toddler that's why it's important) Not sure. It was just an overall negative experience. Never going to this location ever again. & I go to Starbucks quite often. Literally every time I go here my drink is messed up they have the wrong size,wrong cup, wrong milk and of course this last time I went there they gave me decaf. :0 i'm not sure if it's just to intercom error or what?! I always repeat my order several times so they have it correct on the screen that by the time they hand me my drink at the window it's always the wrong drink. Sigh I'm giving this place 2 stars because when I go inside it's a 50-50 chance that my drink will be good but if I go through the drive-through it's not going to work. Staff ARE friendly and they will fix any drinks issues with no problem at all. I go to many Starbucks throughout Spokane I'm not sure why this one has so many issues?! read more

Hair in my coffee almost every time. I usually get delivery and I got a hair in my mouth one day so I opened lid and found several hairs in the cup. Started checking since then and I've thrown more away than I've consumed for about a month now. Went to this location in person and watched a girl with a long blonde pony tail flip her hair around like she thought she was on a dance floor instead of in a kitchen handling other people's food. Yes, it was pulled back. But it's long and one rubber band at the top does not control it. I watched her flip it over two open drinks and drag it across food items going in and out of the oven. It was gross. I think I have to be done with this location. Freshly remodeled and already dirty. That with the staff flipping hair at you, says a lot. Yucky. read more

The staff must have changed with the remodel because nothing has been right since. Ive been a regular for about 7 years but the last few months may have changed that. I have not had one correct order through the morning drive through since the remodel. Delivery orders have been wrong as well and packaged so poorly most of the coffee spills in the bag anyway. They ignore special requests and don't even secure lids on drinks. They're also targeting people they don't like. You can't speak up and voice a concern or it gets worse. My breakfast has been ruined daily since I spoke up. I drive a mile out of my way now or pay a higher delivery fee to avoid this location. Don't need retaliation ruining my breakfast every day for over a week just cuz they didn't like my request for another cup. It's like bullies on the playground and something needs to change. read more

Today I needed something to eat with my iced mocha so I tried the Homestyle Chicken & Double-Smoked Bacon sandwich; herbed chicken on toasted apple brioche, topped with double-smoked bacon and maple mustard. The iced mocha was delicious, the maple mustard dressing gave the sandwich an interesting twist of flavors and it was better than I expected. Worth a try. read more

I love starbucks coffee, used to be a barista at another location, and frequently will stop to get myself a drink. however, i had a bad experience with an employee at this location- a man, that had dark hair and was wearing all black. he was extremely rude to me. i had brought a bag of starbucks coffee that i've had for awhile to be ground, as well as ordered a drink. this employee accused me of stealing, talked down on me like i was stupid when i told him what i wanted, and was overall extremely unwelcoming. i will gladly drive the extra little bit to avoid this location at all costs now. as a former barista, i know that this is not how a starbucks partner should ever treat a guest. read more

To preface my comment review, I want to state that I have an emotional attachment to Starbucks. So these interactions have been personal to me and have caused me to spend my money elsewhere. Stephanie, the store manager, is the person who this complaint is about. I made my order through Uber eats which does not allow or have the option to make a modification to your drink. After my order went through to the store, I promptly called them to request my modification. I was met with the most disgusting customer service I've ever had on any phone call I've ever made to a company. To quote Stephanie, the STORE MANAGER: "This is our busiest time of the day and we don't have time for your questions". I reminded her that I too was a customer and had just spent money for their product. She was very rude and never took my modification. I contacted corporate Starbucks to make a formal complaint. My entire order was refunded and I was assured that her type of behavior would not continue as it is not quality standard for the company. I ordered once more tentatively, and called to make the same modification. When someone answered the phone and introduced themself as Stephanie, I politely requested to speak to another worker. Rather than truly providing appropriate customer support, this is how the interaction continued. Stephanie then addressed me by name with intent to intimidate me, along with a patronizing tone stating "Hello Olivia, I'll get someone else for you". She then goes to hand the phone to another worker, and I can clearly and plainly hear her say "This is that lady who called corporate on me, she refuses to speak to me". This person is the store manager I'm sure she knows how her own phone system works, meaning they don't have hold music they just pass the phone (which I know for a fact). The next representative that I spoke to was very kind, very sweet and assured my drink was going to be made correctly. To my surprise, when I received my drink it too did not have any modifications and was actually very low with the ingredients it did have (ie. whip cream, caramel). This led me to believe that the representative I spoke was providing deceitful niceties. I called corporate again about this issue. And was directed to the district manager, Ryan. Ryan called me initially and also confirmed that this behavior was not OK or acceptable. He advised he would discuss details with Stephanie, the store manager and get back to me with a resolution. While waiting several extra business days and through a long weekend for a response regarding the coaching that the district manager provided to Stephanie and their team, I called to get an update. The Starbucks customer service representative over the phone advised me that the district manager had already called me and left a voicemail for me. Which was untrue, considering I had no missed phone calls or voicemails waiting. At this point I had Ryan's phone number saved in my phone. When Ryan got back in contact with me, he advised that he was out unexpectedly as he was sick. He "thinks" a teammate of his tried to handle his work while he was out, and clearly did not do their job to quality standard either. This seems like a pattern I'm recognizing within the Starbucks brand. I was looking for a resolution. Ryan advised the store manager had received coaching. I asked if Stephanie had completed coaching before the next time I had ordered, and was aware it was my drink, why did it still come out lower than Starbucks quality standards. He then explained he can't guarantee how any barista in the store is going to ring an order in, make the drink, or allow it to leave the store looking like that. Upon asking for a refund of my order for the lack of customer service and correction of behavior, I was met with pushback from the district manager. This was honestly one of the most upsetting parts. After Ryan was made aware of multiple poor interactions, me being emotionally involved with this company, and also struggling with an eating disorder where certain Starbucks lunch items are considered "safe foods" - where I also am spending my hard earned money for this product and I'm not getting what I paid for. I think that was completely wrong of them. It does not seem like this store or the district manager are able to execute even the industry standard of customer service performance or quality standard on their products. This has definitely been one of the most negative experiences I have EVER had with a company. And I'm really saddened to say that it was through a company that I have been supporting for upwards of 15 years. read more

One thing that Starbucks always gets right for me is consistency! The staff is friendly, the drinks are good, the whole atmosphere reminds you that the hustle and bustle is run by coffee. I love the passion iced tea and the matcha teas. I am not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee but I did get a ton of gift cards for Christmas so here we go! read more

my sister and i frequent this starbucks location, and all of the staff is very kind and helpful. however, when questioning which drinks had which add-ins, an employee with black and blonde dyed hair began fighting amongst the girls working and trying to figure out who messed up. as someone who has worked in fast food, that is not to be done in front of the customer. it's unprofessional, and the tone she gave us wasn't very professional either. my sister doesn't drink regular milk because it destroys her stomach, and the baristas admitted to misplacing her drink sticker so they assumed it was made with regular milk. they didn't double check and sent us off with regular milk instead of oat milk. an employee was very kind and quick to replace our drinks when we came back in. i'm hoping to see more cooperation within the starbucks team and to work together to fix a problem rather than attack whoever may have made the mistake. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Consistently bad service. Rude staff especially in the drive through and constant turn over. If they offer a receipt, take it because if you don't, the charge will be $1 more by the end of the day. Long waits daily. Rude fake happy attitudes. And thieves. I can get coffee anywhere. With 5 in my household and a daily coffee habit, we spend over $600 a month and we won't be spending another dime of it here! read more

I travel a lot and have visited quite a few different Starbucks locations while doing so. This one is pretty average. If the bathrooms were cleaner I may have given it 4 stars. They have seating but not as comfortable as many of the newer locations I have visited. The staff was very friendly and got my order perfect and did so quickly even during a bit of a rush. A couple of improvements to overall cleanliness and comfort for customer experience would go a long way here. I would drive a few minutes out of my way if there was a nicer location nearby. read more

This is a pretty standard Starbucks. It's fine if you like to overpay for syrupy espresso. I have visited almost all of the coffee stands and houses in this area, and this is the most expensive place to get a mocha at almost $4.70 for 16oz. I would recommend going to Thomas Hammer just down the street if you want to sit in a coffee shop, or one of the many nearby coffee stands for better and cheaper coffee. read more

This is an ok Starbucks when it comes to drinks - but don't plan on getting any work done. Its one of the Starbucks where 50% of the time, their AT&T Internet is not working. Aggravating to say the least. I work from home and sometimes its nice to head out for a different environment for an hour or so. Nothing worse than getting over there and discovering that once again their Internet is not communicating. Startucks at airports and in major cities never seem to have this issue, but I do see it in some of these provincial cities. Surprising since it is 2012. read more
