We have visited this one several times over the years on our travels between Dallas and Baton Rouge, and they've always been quick and friendly. Today was our first time coming inside. Starbucks is Starbucks never misses in my books and i'm especially in love with the flavored cold brews. Today we ordered the irish cream and pumpkin cold brew and they made them both too perfection. They put a whipped foam with the flavor of your choice on top with a strong flavorful cold brew under. After we dumped out our crud coffee from another coffee shop, we decided hell let's just get good old standard Starbucks. As we were exiting the drive thru, we busted a right and boy oh boy let me tell you, NOT a good idea. We popped a wheelie like no other. I just knew I blew out my transmission and demolished my tires. I'm the type of girl who ain't afraid to get some mud on her tires, but since it's been a few years since my muddin' days you would think that would have got me a little excited but this curb don't play. After screaming like a little bitch, me and my friend looked over to the right and saw the handsome fellow on the patio give us the thumbs up that the car made it out okay. After the good news, we cranked up the Florida Georgia Line and wrote this review. Moral of the story: please save yourself the embarrassment and bust a left when exiting the drive thru. read more

I really enjoy coffee. Actually it is probably one of the main food groups for me at this point in my life. Stopped in to this Starbucks with my daughter and grabbed couple cups of coffee. Starbucks coffee is good which is probably why they are so popular. This particular Starbucks has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors and chatted over our coffee for quite some time. The decor and ambience is typical for Starbucks. I prefer smaller mom and pop or local coffee joint however I wasn't able to find anything like that while in Shreveport. Wow, unbelevably bad customer service. I ordered coffee from my IPhone app, arrived at the drive thru 5 minutes later to a large line of vehicles, approximately 8-10. 35 minutes later when recieve our order a foolishly pull away from the window before taking a sip of our lukewarm coffee. Now being in a rush to get somewhere I just thought I would call and let them know what had happened. Some girl answered and basically blamed it on us for not picking it up in time? After I explained we had waited in line, she then basically said that wasnt her problem? Unfortunately I'm used to poor service in Shreveport but this was beyond belief. She refused to credit my account but did offer to replace the coffee no charge. Only after I pushed the issue, but I didnt have another 35 minutes to wait. Also the inside sales line was backed up so this would prove no better. If Starbucks cant get the app system to work correctly with there current workload, stop doing it and stop serving cold coffee. read more

Starbucks is one of my favorite coffee spots, and they have the best consistency compared to others I've been to. I go to this starbucks from time to time and it is always very busy in the drive-through and in store. The baristas are always very friendly. It does take a while to get drinks since the drive-through and inside of the store is packed. The only reason I don't think it is i five stars is because of the time wait and not being 100% consistent with the taste of the coffee. read more

Solid average Starbucks. It's more like a quick in-and-out kind of place than hanging out with friends or working/studying for a while. The place is a bit noisy with all kinds of machine running in a relatively place. The atmosphere is meh.. but what do you expect when it is located next to a mattress store and in front of a busy road? I do agree that this is one of the slowest Starbucks within a half mile radius, but it's also the BUSIEST! Of course it's going to take longer for them to put a coffee in our hand when there's 5 people in line in front of us in the drive thru and even more standing inside. This shop is in an amazing location, closest one to the university and the only one in the area with a drive thru. Not only is the location and access to a drive thru impressive about this Starbucks, but these employees also keep me coming back. They are personable and caring. Chris Floyd, the shift manager I believe, never fails to make me feel like a friend. This is quite literally the worst Starbucks I have been to in my life. I never plan on going back again. Their customer service is absurd. I have waited in their drive thru for a half an hour before I even was able to order. Then when I do finally get my order there's usually about a 50-50 chance that it will taste dreadful because they have overused the espresso or a variety of other ways they manage to ruin the drink. I have reached the point where I would much rather go to the Starbucks in Target or Kroger because I know I will get much faster service at either place and my $4 drink doesn't taste like garbage. If I could give it zero stars I would. I've tried giving them multiple chance hoping it would improve, but this garbage has been going on for months. read more
