I only use the Drive Thru because I'm just coming from home or heading home. The sincerely polite customer service at this location, makes it worth returning to when I need my caffeine fix. I never tend to know the proper names of the seasonal drinks not to mention if I want a blended or iced version. I have NEVER been rushed as I stumble through placing my order. I've even ordered a drink wrong once & as they handed it through the window I caught my error. They weren't put off at all & even said, it would only take a few extra seconds to add ice & blend it for me. They are fast and friendly when it's slow; early mornings at about 6am it's pretty dead. Otherwise, it's Starbucks coffee and this location has never burnt the beans while making espresso. It feels overpriced for drive through coffee, but they are one of the few places open early in the mornings so they have a market and somewhat repeat customers. read more

Was very rude taking my order. Wasnt patient as I was looking at the menu with no one behind me. Rushed me and then sat with the second car in front of me talking for 3+ min. when I pulled up to the window he told me to skip the tip because he knew he was being disrespectful and then proceeded to roll eyes and shut window after he gave me the straws. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Sherwood. Great atmosphere, lots of windows! And Brooke who took my order was extremely friendly and represented the experience I used to have at Starbucks. She showed the customer service and friendly community atmosphere that Starbucks was known for in the beginning. Kudos Brooke!! I frequent this Starbucks in the mornings. The staff here are all so kind. Many of them know me by name and always make my day when I come in. They have been working so hard through this pandemic and I am always blown away at how positive they are even when they are slammed. I wish everyone had a little more grace to give. * this is NOT a review on their coffee since its Starbucks and you know what you're gonna get, this is a review on their ambiance and location This is a new Starbucks since the Walmart plaza opened. It's conveniently located off of Tualatin - Sherwood Rd as a much needed coffee shop that has ample seating. It's bigger than the one on the Safeway side, but I do give it only 3 stars because I think the top Starbucks in the area is the Tualatin location. Tualatin has fast service, friendly staff, and great seating. I would prefer more chair and rectangular table seating vs this location's stools. They are tall and hard and make a lovely scratching noise every time you move on the concrete. I also experienced staff that don't acknowledge that I'm waiting to order. When the employee came from the back she didn't acknowledge it either. Then my order never came through but there was no apology. Management needs to come from headquarters to infuse this team with some caffeine! I like to support local shops like Symposium, but nothing really beats Starbucks unlimited tea or drip coffee refills for work days at a coffee place. I also like that if I need food I have plenty of options. read more

This place is a trainwreck. This place is not able to make the same drink twice. Also, it would be nice if the staff made eye contact. There is only one employee that has good customer service skills. The rest are afraid to look at you or talk to you. The manager and other people in charge seem overwhelmed whenever I am in there. Tonight I stopped at this location at 7:53. I understand they close at 8, but all I wanted to do was run inside and buy a cup. I tried to buy it at the target next door but they don't take rewards points. I approached the door and tried to open it and it was locked. There were two employees in the store and neither one of them bothered to even come to the door to ask what we wanted. They just ignored us. Seeing other cars in the drive thru, I decided to just pull around to the drive thru and get a cup. I pulled up to the menu board at 7:55 and an automated message about being closed started playing. I'm extremely disappointed in the employees and location. I'll take my business to one of the many other locations in the area. read more

I'm outside of the location and they don't close for another hour yet they refused service by shrugging and shaking their heads and wouldn't even open the window to tell people they closed and were content for us to just sit there. If I'm in a hurry, I love that they have a drive through. I don't have to unload the kids. It's just a short wait and go! Even if it's a long line in the morning, it moves quick. It seems like the staff here are having problems lately. I've patronized this location many times and never been disappointed. However, yesterday, they not only took FOREVER to fill my order, it was the WRONG item when I got it. I just drove off anyway, because by then a line of six cars had formed behind me. Today, my daughter had the same problem. Her drink order was served unfinished and badly prepared, i.e it tasted pretty badly. I have been to this Starbucks probably 20 times and I am done! They are disorganized and the employees are overworked. Not enough staff ever. I was first in the line today and waited 15 minutes for my drink. When I was passed over they said it will be out soon. The drive thru is always first priority but you will wait there as well. I have never seen the manager working. She is always on the phone... which looks bad. Hire a bigger staff! This is a poorly run Starbucks. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Sherwood because it is a drive-through! It is also open much later than most of the other anchor stores here. I still have not figured out why coffee shops close early up here yet. It makes no sense to me, there are so many people that work at night that would love to stop in for a cup of coffee! They always have fast and friendly service, and if they have ever made a mistake on my order, have always corrected it when I told them about it on my next visit. I have waited a few months since they opened to post a review; thinking that they might improve, that they are new and would get better. There has been no improvement. This is without a doubt the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I have routinely waited 10+ minutes with only 4 cars in the drive thru. 11/2/15. 10 a.m. Michael was the barista. Ordered a doubleshot which has to be shaken but then the foam has to be scooped off. He handed it to my husband with about 2 inches of foam. My husband said "there's a lot of foam". He grabbed it back & gave it to another worker who proceeded to pour milk into it. Now it just tasted like milk. I also ordered a doubleshot. He SLAMMED mine on the counter & I said "why'd he slam mine down?" We talked to the asst mgr who made my husband another drink. I have been giving Starbucks my business for over 10 years & this is the first time I have EVER remember having a worker be rude to me. My advice to you Michael...Having a bad day? Stay home or take a deep breath. You KNOW we were not rude to you. Next time I won't be so nice either my husband's a pussycat compared to me. I'll call corporate before I even leave the store and who knows that one person you're rude to may have been sent by corporate to check out your store. read more

Heads up folks, my daughter and her co-worker ate Turkey Sandwiches on April 10th from this location and both of them got horribly ill about 5 hours later. In doing some research, I found that this isn't unheard of with Starbucks as a whole. Maybe they need to change distibutors? Guess it's safer to stick with drinks only. read more

Too good for the people she works with..... They got lots of staff but everyone looks dazed and confused!! Last week when the black guy took so long on my drink... He just added one shot instead of.3 that was paid for.. but wanted to just get me a drink even if it was wrong.. When I stated my concerns.. A girl named CHRISTINIA!!! Stated that she thought I wasn't being very nice.... then comes around from counter.. to continue telling me how she thought I wasn't nice... it really seemed more like she was standing up for him due to the overused BLM!!!!! We went in around 8:50 thinking they closed at 9, when we walked in they kindly informed us the hours online were wrong and that they actually closed earlier. Then the man helping us apologized for the inconvenience and gave us samples of tea and some pastries they had left over and then of course the drinks we ordered. Awful customer service. I ordered a green tea. Not one person was inside or in line before me. Three baristas were working. I sat at the drive thru for five minutes with the window open. Not one barista acknowledged I was sitting there. Then they brought out the entirely wrong drink. I get it that it's Starbucks. But customer service still counts for something. read more
