I recently visited this Starbucks drive-thru and unfortunately had a very disappointing customer service experience. I ordered two drinks and, since I don't typically go to Starbucks, I wasn't aware that whipped cream would automatically be included on my iced coffee. Because I am pregnant and currently trying to be mindful of my sugar intake, I politely asked the woman at the window if she could please remake my coffee without the whipped cream. Instead of simply letting me know whether this could be done, the woman with glasses let out a loud sigh and rolled her eyes at me. I then watched her spoon the whipped cream out of my drink, put a new lid on it, and hand it back to me. At that point, my $7 iced coffee was only about three-quarters full. I politely asked if she could please add some more ice to the drink. Once again, she rolled her eyes, took the drink, and added ice. At this point, I looked at my friend who was in the car with me and asked her if I had been rude in any way, because I was genuinely confused by the level of attitude and poor customer service I was receiving. I was polite throughout the entire interaction and was only asking for a simple adjustment to my drink. I completely understand that employees have difficult days and that drive-thru interactions can be busy, but there is no reason for a customer to be met with repeated eye-rolling and audible sighs when making a polite request. I hope management will review this interaction and address the customer service concerns with the employee. A simple, courteous response would have made this a completely different experience. Even when they're swamped with customers they still maintain their sweet disposition. The manager Renee is extremely personable and makes it her business to treat each customer like a family meme er. She addresses everyone by name and even tends to remember their orders! It's quite impressive. My usual go-to's are the lemon load cake and an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle. SO DELICIOUS!! Pros: - Quick service: Service here is speedy, I never need to wait more than a minute or two to get my drinks, even when there is a bit of a line. - Friendly and well-trained: All of the baristas are super friendly and helpful-- clarifying exactly what I want with a smile on their faces, and accurately making the drinks without forgetting anything. - Lots of seating: There is lots of seating at this location! There is a booth area with lots of outlets so that you can bring a computer and keep it charged. There is also an outdoor seating area, with umbrellas, and I believe that the wifi extends out there as well! - Clean and bright: The location always looks well cleaned and is bright. The bathroom is kept in pretty clean condition as well. The Starbucks has windows all the way around it, and has lots of natural light. - Speedy drive through: The drive through always moves along smoothly, with no one waiting too long there, either! Cons: - Self-Service Station: Not a huge deal, but this Starbucks features no station with sugar/napkins/milk/cream to add to your beverage. After I told her it clearly wasn't, she then told me they'd make me a new one which I appreciated, and then it never got made. This is one of the worst establishments I've ever been to, the baristas here ONLY a few of them are kind to customers they have no customers service skills, or hygiene skills. Some of they will look or smell like they haven't showered in more than a week. Some of them look demonic. I was here early today and the vibes of this location are off, workers will rush through the process of making the drink and not read the ticket correctly giving you the wrong items. They leave milk out on the counter ALL DAY when food should be especially dairy products no more than 41° F. One of the few times the store front was open I sat inside and witnessed the manager being a total jerk to his employees and customers. I've also witnessed this behavior towards his employees multiple times at the drive thru window as well. It is a good place to get a quick coffee in the morning. They do quick and you have to wait long. I alway get the 4 shot of espresso and 4 white mocha and it come out good.
