When I went to get my order it was bright yellow with the raspberry boba. When I said something about it they were quick to fix it but they put more than 1 pump of the raspberry syrup since my drink was almost black. I absolutely love my neighborhood Starbucks at Thompson Peak and Hayden Blvd in North Scottsdale. The team is always so sweet and eager to take my order. Even when they're swamped with customers they still maintain their sweet disposition. The manager Renee is extremely personable and makes it her business to treat each customer like a family meme er. She addresses everyone by name and even tends to remember their orders! It's quite impressive. My usual go-to's are the lemon load cake and an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle. SO DELICIOUS!! Very large Starbucks location on Hayden, a good spot to study, catch up on work, or enjoy a drink while people watching. Pros: - Quick service: Service here is speedy, I never need to wait more than a minute or two to get my drinks, even when there is a bit of a line. - Friendly and well-trained: All of the baristas are super friendly and helpful-- clarifying exactly what I want with a smile on their faces, and accurately making the drinks without forgetting anything. - Lots of seating: There is lots of seating at this location! There is a booth area with lots of outlets so that you can bring a computer and keep it charged. There is also an outdoor seating area, with umbrellas, and I believe that the wifi extends out there as well! - Clean and bright: The location always looks well cleaned and is bright. The bathroom is kept in pretty clean condition as well. The Starbucks has windows all the way around it, and has lots of natural light. - Speedy drive through: The drive through always moves along smoothly, with no one waiting too long there, either! Cons: - Self-Service Station: Not a huge deal, but this Starbucks features no station with sugar/napkins/milk/cream to add to your beverage. There is an island that looks like it was designed for this purpose, but when I came in, it was empty. This isn't a huge deal, because they make the drinks accurately, but worth mentioning if you are the type to add to or alter your drinks a bit. Other: - Music- The music selection in here is nice-- not obnoxious or overwhelming at all, imo. Wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered a matcha in the drive thru. It was clearly made wrong and had chunks of matcha powder. I know it was made wrong because I've ordered the same drink a significant amount of times since the new recipe for matcha has been out. I went inside to get it fixed and the girl at the front tried to gaslight me and tell me it was right. After I told her it clearly wasn't, she then told me they'd make me a new one which I appreciated, and then it never got made. After waiting 15-20 minutes and realizing it wasn't going to get made, I got a refund and left. Absolutely poorly made drink and worse service. Management was just sitting in the lobby doing nothing as well. Went to another Starbucks and it was made right the first time and even had a compliment written on the drink. Do better. read more

Not sure what's up with this location. Why there's consistently issues. This is a review for 08/04/2024. I got two trenta spicy refreshers with extra spice. There was none at all. Not to mention when I went to pick them up, no one mentioned about being out of it or anything. It still said it was available on the Starbucks app. So instead of going to the store management at this point from my last experience. I called 1-800-STARBUCKS. I explained my situation and they shad they can't refund my money back or credit my points or anything cuz I've made complaints to them in the past. Like wtf???? What the hell kind of service is that???? For an almost $20 order??? I'd understand if it was $3 or $4. Or even $5. But for real?? It seems to me like customer service in today's day and age has gone down hill way fast. read more

This is one of the worst establishments I've ever been to, the baristas here ONLY a few of them are kind to customers they have no customers service skills, or hygiene skills. Some of they will look or smell like they haven't showered in more than a week. Some of them look demonic. I was here early today and the vibes of this location are off, workers will rush through the process of making the drink and not read the ticket correctly giving you the wrong items. They leave milk out on the counter ALL DAY when food should be especially dairy products no more than 41° F. Big shout out to Merry, Isabella, and Kaylin, some of the nicest and most personable baristas!!! Way to go girls!! How ever Andrew, Priya, and Lauren need work on their communication and problem and solution skills, they all constantly have a bad attitude. Do better Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks location is one of the busiest in northern Scottsdale (though the location on Shea Blvd is probably worse). On the other hand the folks inside are wonderful. I've never had an order mistake and the line moves very fast. Nice group of Baristas! The parking lot is shared with Good Egg and Subway and it can become very crowded and crazy in the mornings. I've seen many a luxury car get rear ended in the lot while it's owner is inside getting a latte. At times the drive-thru (poorly thought out) can wind around the corner ten deep. No exaggeration. This Starbucks is in a great location & the baristas are very kind and hardworking, but half of the time it's drive thru ONLY. So beware of that. The Fry's next door has a Starbucks but they don't carry blonde roast & they are constantly busy because this location doesn't allow walk ins. One of the few times the store front was open I sat inside and witnessed the manager being a total jerk to his employees and customers. I've also witnessed this behavior towards his employees multiple times at the drive thru window as well. Correcting and reprimanding the baristas in front of customers is embarrassing & unprofessional. Total waste of a good location. read more

Not a coffee person but went here because I have some gift cards there. I got myself a ice tea lemonade and a breakfast sandwich. I order on their app so I didn't have to wait to long for my order. This location is a great place to get your coffee and go. They have a drive-through!The staff is consistently friendly, for the most part, as is the coffee consistent. Beware however, on a peak time, 7:30-8:00 AM, you will be waiting for a very long time & may not be able to cue for the drive-through line due to lack of waiting space. This spot has a very local feel especially in the mornings and on the weekends. Lots of people gathering to enjoy their breakfast, coffee or meet up. Dogs welcome on patio and inside. I drive thru pretty much every morning however if the line is too long (Which often times it is depending on who is running it) I will pop in for my Venti no foam latte with 3 sugars in the raw. For those of you who tell me there is no foam in a latte Just zip it there is and Starbucks puts a ton of it in unless you tell them not to OK! Anyhow they are always SO nice there, never a problem...if they make a mistake they always fix it. One day they found out I was buying some coffee for the teacher and so they gave me a bunch of brand new drinks they had made wrong (All hot) and said here give them to the teachers they deserve it! It is a good place to get a quick coffee in the morning. They do quick and you have to wait long. I alway get the 4 shot of espresso and 4 white mocha and it come out good. I paid $5 and some change for an eggnog latte and tipped a buck. I knew the second the kid handed me my drink at the drive-thru that it was half empty. I was in a huge hurry for a meeting so I didn't open the lid to verify. When I parked, I looked and the cup was a little over half full.
