I'm not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy fruit drinks and smoothies and I rarely get anything for myself from there. It's my husband that has the coffee and Starbucks bug. I digress... For once Starbucks didn't have a mondo line and I needed... okay badly wanted, a juice drink. I went with the Paradise Drink Starbucks Refresher. It's pineapple, with chunks of pineapple and coconut milk. (Did I mentioning love Pinole and coconut milk?!) Placed my order and I was good to go. Until they called my name and said they were out of the pineapple chunks. Bummmerrrrr. I'll take it anyway. Guys... it was not good, I couldn't even finish it. It was the most artificial, bitter pineapple taste I've ever had. Total waste! I bought a big bottled water from the exchange and it saved the day. That will teach me to not forget my hydro flask when I head out for errands.

Coffee is life! When I feel a bit more run down than usual I can never go wrong with adding a sprinkle of sugar to my day. I use to be a hot coffee drinker but enjoy more of the iced coffees nowadays. I love this location especially while on base and enjoy the frappes. The service is quick at the times that I'm there and usually don't have to worry about much of a line. The ambiance is nice and I especially liked the decor with the message board! Will return again for my much needed caffeine fuel up

Espresso machine is down. Can't redeem expiring points for bakery item since AAFES facility...my first time trying. Not a great day.

Although I prefer a diff coffee chain, I still frequent starbucks because of the "convenience". Coming to this location isn't really convenient for me. Mobile order ahead not available. Walk from parking lot to store isn't as close as other locations are. Consistency isn't there. Longer than normal wait times. I'm not gonna say I won't visit again but let's just say there's lots of room for improvement...

upgraded seating! There are chargers underneath!

Schofield Starbucks had a renovation!! whoo hoo! The seating area is opened up and now have charging stations. The coffee is comparable to any other Starbucks. I love the new changes. Customer service has changed over the years, for the better. For the most part you can get your go to Starbucks drinks here, just like amy other location. Since it is Aafes, you can NOT redeem your points for free stuff. The good thing is you can still ear by buying here! When to avoid: paydays are crazy. The lines get soooooo long. So either come early or get your coffee later on the 1st and 15th. Overall, it has become my regular spot to get my liquid of choice.

What I like about this location is the easy going feel of it. Doesn't have the hussle and bussle of many other locations, always easy to get a table, rarely has loud talking people, it's just pretty quiet. So, when I came this time around and I saw the sign for 50% off all strawberry drinks I couldn't turn it away. It's been awhile since I had a strawberry smoothie blended with real strawberries giving it more of a strawberry taste than the other strawberry drinks they have. I settled for a grande since I just got done eating a big lunch. I placed my order, paid for it, and got the drink in less than 5min. It tasted fantastic. Service was friendly, courteous and done with a warm smile. For the few minutes I waited, I did notice everything was clean. Nothing left on the tables, or on the floor to be picked up. Creme station was well stocked. Staff were nicely dressed, not sloppy, very professionally appropriate. Now, on to shopping!!!

Grande lite ice Half lemonade, half strawberry available mango black tea lemonade. Whaaaat?! It will blow your mind.

The wait here is usually a little longer than other Starbucks, in my opinion. The volume isn't very high, but still... I don't know. You can use your Rewards card here to pay, and they have some weird paper-trail way of logging that you used your free drink/food reward. The drinks here are always hit or miss for me. Being a former Starbucks barista myself, I know how my drink is supposed to taste. Sometimes its spot on; sometimes it seems like they didn't get a full shot of espresso in there; sometimes they burn the milk; sometimes they don't put the full 4 pumps of vanilla in my drink. BUT.... It's the only place to get a decent espresso drink near my work so guess I have to deal.

Gross. How hard is it to keep them out? There is a screen on the backside. They just don't care.

The chai is pretty sweet on its own so I add 2 shots of espresso to cut thru that sweetness and add a teeny bit more caffeine to the drink. They also have seasonal drinks that stay for a few months at a time. My favorite seasonal drink was in the summer -- I believe it was a haupia latte (cold foam on top was sooooo good with the coffee). Food: If I order food, it'll be the bacon burrito w/sauce. They also have other sweeter options for food (mochi waffles, avo toast, etc) Of the countless times I've been to Surfer's, there's a mixture of people - some locked in doing work, others catching up with friends, people reading their Bibles, tourists passing through checking out a local coffee shop, etc. Because of this, it can get pretty loud for a coffee shop, so just FYI if you plan on going there to do work! Overall, love Surfers :) Great vibes, amazing staff, and I'll always keep coming back here Parking: Back lot parking (located on Ohai St) or street parking (Kam Hwy) WiFi: Yes | Bathroom: Yes

I came in a few times before and just never committed to getting anything but since today was so cold and I needed caffeine I braved the line and decided to give it a chance. Honestly if it wasn't so cold I would have left. Because the cashier was talking to a customer for several minutes about other people and clothing before taking her order. I guess if it was just me and a couple others maybe it wouldnt be so bad but there was 7 people behind me and the cashier didnt seem to care. I mean the customer seemed to be initiating the conversation and did most of the talking and so I can understand the cashier just being polite. But it seems like this lady comes in often but seriously it leaves a bad impression on others. I was ready to give this place 2 or 3 stars but then I tried the match which made the experience 3.5. But since its a small business I rounded up instead of down. It is a cute little shop but not alot of seating and not alot of parking. The pastries looked good but we're ro pricy for me. A muffin for 6.50 is just a bit to much. But again if you like matcha I highly recommend checking this place out
