Recently visited the new location in Rexburg (Golden Beauty Dr.). Much to my surprise I found an employee (Sarah Del Prado) working there that I would often see working at the Ammon, ID location on Sunnyside Rd. I filed a formal complaint against Sarah earlier this year (2024) for sexual harassment because she made inappropriate comments about my male genitalia. She's a high-class lady (sarcasm)! Not to mention, while offering me customer service, she would often try (unsuccessfully) to get the personal details of my life (married? girlfriend? any kids? my age? job? am I rich? (she seriously asked if I was "rich"-- shameless)). It seemed to give her some sort of thrill or power trip to hit on me. So, my lack of interest didn't stop her from trying off-and-on for a year, even up to sexually harassing me which was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Not seeing her work at the Ammon location for months, I assumed they had let her go as a result of the complaint. Apparently, management just relocated her 30 minutes up the road to Rexburg, thinking I would be none the wiser so no problem. Kinda reminds me of how the Catholic church for decades moved child-molesting priests from city to city to avoid any real justice to its pedophilic clergy members.
If you want to enjoy Starbucks, go ahead. But understand who you are giving your money to. Local Starbucks management, like Rachel Sloop (Rexburg Starbucks store manager), have no morals, ethics, or values. Their hiring/firing policy is sexist and has an anti-male bias in that it provides preferential treatment to female employees. Any man that would have done half of the things to a woman that Sarah did to me would have been fired immediately. However, they cover for a female employee who is abusive, manipulative, and sexually harasses customers.
Sarah is a borderline narcissist. Avoid her like the plague. Do not deal with her. If there is an issue, go directly to her manager. She is a duplicitous, manipulative individual that feigns victimhood at the slightest perceived wrong. She will even invent issues when there are none just to create a false narrative about you to her coworkers and bosses. When the bosses or coworkers are not around, she will intentionally instigate drama to potentially provoke a reaction and weaponize it to further cement her perceived victimhood status.
