Huge Starbucks Reserves Roastery located just 5 mins walk to Doumo Milano. Great spot to hang out with your favorite cold beverage during hot weather in Milan but be prepared to wait in line and good luck of finding a seat especially lunch time hours. Enjoyed our raspberry cheesecake and cold beverage. Didn't bought mug during our visit. I was hoping for a better Starbucks mug design. Must visit if you love Starbucks!
Tourist here... of course I stopped by the Starbucks reserve Milan location!!! It was great but packed. We came twice on a Saturday and on a Monday and both had the same amount of people, we barely got a table, but the location is great right near the duomo. It's the prettiest building and I love the interior. However, it is very busy indefinitely on the higher side, which is expected due to the great location in the heart of tourism. We got several drinks, some flat pizzas and pastries and everything tasted delicious. There was a small weight to order and for pick up which was reasonable considering how many people were there.. We definitely worth swinging by but not for a local as it is relatively costly. I love the Affogato however by the time they scooped it and served it to me in the ice cream was near melted..
Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milan is one of the remaining 5 roasteries. It's a gorgeous place with astrological elements mixed in. We arrived around 9 am and it wasn't as busy as when we revisited later in the afternoon. There are two lines on either side of the place and QR codes tos can the menu. We ordered some pastries, the yuzu thyme espresso tonic, roastery caffe leccese, and the tiramisu latte. All of the drinks were delicious and balanced well with the pastries. The tiramisu latte was delectable and we ordered it again when we came back. I was hoping to find more Starbucks location mugs but I didn't find any here, which was surprising. The merch itself is rather expensive but I did get some souvenirs for friends and coffee beans. The bathrooms are located downstairs and are clean.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan is way more than just a coffee stop. The place is massive and feels almost museum-like, with marble floors, a full bar, tons of drink options, pastries, and this insanely cool overhead bread conveyor system moving fresh baked goods around the space. You can also watch live coffee roasting and espresso demonstrations, which makes it feel like part café, part experience. That said, it's extremely popular. Finding a seat can be tough, especially during peak hours, so don't come expecting a quiet place to camp out for hours. The vibe is more "walk around, sip something good, take it all in" than chill laptop café. Still, it's worth the stop at least once, especially if you like coffee or just want to see what happens when Starbucks goes full Milanese luxury mode.
100% come here. If you're an American you gotta do it. It's such a vibe and an amazing experience Chains aren't as big as they are in American in Europe So the fact that Starbucks did this is incredible Get the alcohol when you can The bartenders are amazing at talking and elevating the experience Get the whiskey and aperol spritz You will not regret it They give out free chips They charge like 1.5 euro charge to sit there extra so don't be shocked But u can charge your phone They got WiFi and stuff too
Walking through Milan, we stumbled upon the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. It is one of six reserve roasteries worldwide and was the first in Europe. Love the beautiful architecture. The Milan Starbucks Roastery is located in a beautiful old historic building that was originally the Italian Stock Exchange and then became a post office. The entrance wall of the Roastery features a floor-to-ceiling, engraved brass story of Starbucks. You can even scan the engravings for more details. Starbucks Reserve Roastery. A very interesting place to buy a unique Starbucks mug.
Stopped by here while shopping in the area because my sister wanted a mug to add to her collection. The place was very busy but not packed. I did some merch shopping but the prices were pretty high. The staff was friendly and helpful which is the only reason for the second star. I wanted to try their espresso since that's what I've been drinking at all the local coffee shops during my trip. The espresso reminded me why I dislike Starbucks so much. Even in Italy at their Roastery their espresso was horribly bitter and acidic and borderline sour with no depth of flavor at all. I almost gagged on it. It was a huge let down after the high quality and depth of flavor of the espresso I had been drinking at local places. I'm sure one of the signature/exclusive flavored drinks on the menu would've been a bit more palatable but I'm just glad I didn't spend more money to find out. The Tiramisu was just alright. I won't be back. Save your money and your tastebuds and drink coffee from a local Italian place instead because this place is truly a tourist trap.
This place is absolutely awesome. If you are in Milan this is a must see. I remember the opening of this place. The line was a couple of blocks long. They had different specials that were not on the American menu.
Apparently there are only four of these locations in the world? Not sure if that's true, but that's what I heard. This is a LARGE Starbucks. I mean huge and they have all kinds of drinks and foods. They also have some experiences. If you like Starbucks, well then you probably should visit this place.
16-Apr-2026 - I visited a Starbucks café in Milan, Italy while exploring downtown. I stopped there to take a short break during a busy day of sightseeing. This Starbucks is very special and different from most others. It is known as the only Starbucks coffee shop in Milan, and it is very popular with both tourists and locals. The design of the café is beautiful and unique. The interior is large and stylish, and it feels more like a special coffee experience than a typical coffee shop. There are many different drinks, desserts, and coffee options to choose from, which makes the place even more interesting. During my visit, I ordered a cold brew coffee and a wild berries tart. Both were delicious. The cold brew coffee was smooth, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. The wild berries tart was sweet and fresh, with a nice balance of flavors. The café was quite busy, which shows how popular it is in Milan. Even with many people around, it was still a nice place to relax for a short time and enjoy a good coffee and dessert. Overall, it was a great stop during my visit to downtown Milan. The beautiful design, the wide variety of drinks and food, and the lively atmosphere make this Starbucks café a special place to visit. I would definitely recommend stopping there if you need a break while exploring the city.
There are 6 Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in the world and we try to check them out if we are in the specific city. The place is much smaller than the one in Chicago, but the historic building is cool. We came in the morning and it wasn't too crowded, but it still took a long time to order and purchase. I wanted something unique and went with the Oleato Fior di Latte Affogato, which is topped with EVOO and Maldon salt. I could've done without the salt, but enjoyed it overall. It was a great stop to beat the outdoor heat.
Nice place to stop and have a break from the heat. Most important -clean restrooms or restrooms at all. You can see the beans being roasted and buy souvenirs. Food and drink is on the high side.
This Roastery in Milan is huge and plenty of people even if they control the entry of customers. Tried some sandwiches and nothing special to it since they don't really cater for sandwiches. I have great expectations with the Tiramisu but it was overrated and not as good as other italian restaurants/ cafes that offer tiramisu. The Tiramisu Latte was nothing special. Service was fast. It was a good experience though to visit different locations of starbucks reserve roastery and this is by far the most chaotic location.

Of course we had to come to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan. I had never been to a Roastery before including in the United States. I know so sue me okay? I was just amazed of how many pastries and food and beverages and merchandise to choose from. I'm really a fan of their Been There series so I snagged a coffee thermos of the Duomo Milan. Actually I bought two.... One for hubby and one for my dad. They're both coffee connoisseurs. I already know what you're going to say about Starbucks not being real coffee. But this is not about the coffee... it's about the experience. Which I had a really good one during my visit here. We hung out and ordered espresso martini Flights and watched how they processed their coffee beams from upstairs. The martinis were really delicious and strong. The atmosphere was real chill which was nice.. it gave us some time to just sit and relax after a day of walking. And it's also just minutes from the Duomo. read more
I like to visit the Starbucks when I travel. The reserve did not disappoint! They had a great selection of food, pastries, beans and merchandise. They were also giving free samples of the whiskey roast which was phenomenal! The overall place can be very crowded so be prepared if you're going at a peak time. If you're just buying merchandise make sure you stand in the correct line whereas they have ones designated for food orders only. Great place to check out for a snack, drink or just to collect some Starbucks merchandise! read more
It is an old post office building, which adds to the charm of the place. It is big and it has a coffee area, bar, tastings and merchandise. Since it gets very busy, there could be a wait to get in, but we were lucky and did not had to. I like Starbucks coffee and had to stop by to admire the old building for the history, the new set up and of course to have a latte and a pastry! If you are curious stop by to see! read more

The food here was not good and I can't really attest to the drinks. Got a couple of items to share, and they were all pretty bland and the bread felt the borderline stale. I think it's cool to go in and take pictures, but it's definitely a tourist trap and there are better places for appetizers and such nearby. read more
I have been wanting to come here because of the ambiance. So many options - from baked goods to speciality lattes and coffee-based cocktails, I was thoroughly confused about what to get. I really liked the high ceilings and art deco vibe. They have separate areas to get pastries, baked goods, coffee and cocktails. We sat upstairs at the bar and ended up having a couple drinks (espresso martini and such) that came with complimentary cheese, olives and chips - but they were just ok. On the other hand, the pistachio cake we had here not only looked phenomenal but tasted equally good. If I ever step foot in Milan again (unlikely unless I want to do some shopping), I wouldn't miss that cake. read more
Busy and bustling location with a wide variety of snacks and pastries. The butterscotch latte was decent. There are two lines for food in there. We tried the pistachio cream filled donut and it was good, not too sweet. There are a variety of mugs, tote bags, and other souvenirs. read more

We visited STARBUCKS RESERVE MILANO ROASTERY for the first time and had an amazing experience.VALENTINA was outstanding, so sweet, attentive, and patient with us. She took the time to explain the differences in the coffee brewing methods, especially the filter brew process, and made sure we truly understood and appreciated each one. Her passion and knowledge made our visit even more special. We'll definitely be back! read more
Ok, this really depends on how much you like Starbucks. If you believe it's unwarrantedly expensive, hyper-inflated coffee, then you'll see this place as such. If you love Starbucks and see it as more than coffee, possibly a manifestation of a defining sense of self in your hand, then you'll love this place. As a Mecca to Starbucks lovers, this place offers a true devotee something unique. Above the noisy, overly crowded two floors of Starbucks goodness, are a full coffee bar complete with sweet and savory snacks, a full alcoholic bar, and a bean bar where you can customize your own bag of roasted gold. Also, they have trinkets and other Starbucks gift items for the masses. This is honestly not my scene but my wife, whose scene it is, loved it and enjoyed every second. This was here Disneyland, and if it's yours too, you love it. Enjoy! read more

Always love coming here, not only for the amazing drinks but for the amazing WiFi which is very scarce in Milan hotels lol. It's always busy here but the lines for drinks and desserts are never too long of a wait. It's also a really cool coffee house, if you're a tourist, I would add this location to your "places to see". All our drinks and desserts were lovely. I loved my Lemon Sour cold brew: it was sooooo tasty. read more
We came on a National Holiday and this place was *mobbed! It was very difficult to figure out what was what as we tried to make our way through the crowd! There appears to be food options on either side of the entrance where you stand in line and wait for your order which is placed on a small paper tray. Pay, carry your food away and hopefully find yourself a place to sit on the lower level. This level also has lots of merch. Upstairs is a sit down restaurant. Outside is more seating. This building is the old Milan Post Office, so the exterior has a lot of history. The interior is all shiney and new. If you are a Starbucks fan you just have to try it. Maybe don't come on a National Holiday. read more
I was all about trying a different spot every day during my trip to Italy but I have to admit, Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan is my happy place (as it should be for any coffee lover) and I had to come back every opportunity I got (except when there was a long wait outside) and even stayed until closing one night lol. I suggest coming here later in the evening if you don't want to wait on line. The only thing is, if you are obsessed with Espresso Martinis like me, you may have some trouble sleeping later on, but I promise you, it was SO worth it! This is a must-visit for any coffee lovers! Gorgeous building from the outside and upon walking in, I was captivated by the ambiance. It is truly an incredible atmosphere - the roasting machines, the decor, the aroma of freshly ground beans. I went straight up to their bar and finally got my first Espresso Martini Flight ever which was to die for. Once I finished that, I ordered the Oleato Golden Foam Espresso Martini. Oh.. my.. goodness.. it was out of this world, I wish I could teleport right now just so I can have this delightful cocktail again and again. Who would of thought olive oil in the foam of espresso martinis would go so well together?! It was executed beautifully and the bartenders do such an exceptional job with all the cocktails (shout out to Max especially, you are awesome and I loved watching you make all the cocktails). Oh, can't forget the snacks that come along with it - olives, chips and chunks of parmesan cheese, such a wonderful treat :) read more
We randomly found Starbucks Reserve Roastery by accident on the second day we were in Milan. I told Mink we should take a look since we had time and we were there. She was hesitant at first but we ultimately went in. This location is smaller than the Seattle location but it was nicely done. They have locations of Starbucks Reserves etched in the wall, a nicely decorated scooter up front, souvenir stands all over, tables and counter seating. Of course they have the giant roasting machine in the center. There are restrooms downstairs toward the back. After looking around, Mink ended up buying a souvenir from here to remind her of Milan. The next day we were in the area again and decided to have coffee. Normally I would suggest a local cafe but I needed caffeine and it was close by so we visited again. We both got a Cappuccino each and shared a plain butter croissant. read more

1/8 super super busy place. There's at least 200 hundred people just in there for of course coffee. There's stuff I never heard of drink wise and you can reserve with time on the upper deck. Staff is busy but nice. Ambiance is loud but they try to keep the tables clean as possible. A lot of good souvenirs so make sure you take something on the way out. It's not a Starbucks it's a Reserved. read more
It's in my bucket list to visit all Starbucks Reserve, and was able to check one off during a recent visit to Milan. Gorgeous building architecture and expect a line just like with other Reserves. Inside is gorgeous as well. Had a couple of coffee drinks and local Milanese pastries by Rocco Princi. By the way, don't think you can have that latte with oat milk, because they didn't offer that milk alternative, so I had it with good ole fashion 2% cow's milk, which I didn't mind. After all, I was in Milan having a latte! Also got some whole beans which I asked to be ground for French press but came home with whole beans still - oh well. When I make it back to Milan, I'll be sure to make a stop at this Reserve, and maybe get another keepsake mug? read more

This is for the gram 100%. Brace yourselves, it's loud, it's busy, and food trays and hot drinks are being taken to their tables so mind where you're walking. :) Seating can be limited, so if you have more than two, consider seating someone to hold chairs for your party. Ambiance is great, most of the workers are in character, music is good, If you don't mind the touristy nature or the comical number of people - come. You will enjoy yourself! It's a great addition to the area surrounding the Duomo and brings in all walks of life, young, old, Italians, Americans and everyone in between. You'll see one of a kind interesting pieces of art for sale here, the store is maintained very well, and you'll have lots of different options to choose from when trying a new flavor coffee to eating an interesting dessert. :) read more
For those who enjoy coffee, Starbucks Reserve Roasting and Coffee delivers a distinctive experience. It's worth trying the coffee at least once since it's wonderful and of excellent quality. Some people, though, might think the costs are a little excessive. They serve variety of food, and dessert, so try them. For those looking for a peaceful coffee break, the busy and crowded ambiance at this location might not be perfect. For the coffee alone, Starbucks Reserve Roasting and Coffee is worth a visit, but be aware of the bustling atmosphere and possibly high prices. read more
We came here every day... that's how much we loved it! They had such an amazing variety of drinks and food to choose from and everything was delicious! My fiancé loved all the coffee items he tried, and I loved all the iced tea options I tried. The items you have here are things you can't find anywhere else so I am really going to miss this place! The food was EXCEPTIONAL quality!!! Every. single. Ingredient. The croissants, the sandwiches, the dessert, I don't even know where to begin, I just highly highly recommend this place. I'm really sorry for not having photos, I was too excited * this place has 3 different sections - 1) upstairs is a sit down service, you can get all the same stuff but you sit down and order and there is a 2€ per person service fee. 2) if you go to the left, you wait in line to order your drinks and pick your food and then you can find a seat inside or outside. 3) if you go to the right, it's the same as option 2 except you don't get all the food options, but this is typically a shorter line. read more

I have been to a couple other Reserve locations but nothing like this one. The lines were long throughout the location and took about 20 minutes to get a drink. This Reserve location is a must visit spot. Enjoy! read more

This place is definitely worth checking out if you are in Milan. The building is beautiful and it's a very nice roastery with lots of food and drink options. It was super busy when we were there and we didn't order anything to eat/drink but rather wanted to check out the building and of course but our obligatory $20 USD mug. If we had more time in the city, would have definitely tried out some of their offerings. read more
I came here during my short trip to Milan to see what it was all about. Really cool roastery that's worth checking out if you're in the area. we had to wait in a short line, but seeing how the coffee is made and roasted is quite interesting. It can be a little bit crowded, but I would say it's worth stopping by. The inside is pretty big with multiple spots to order from and sit at. read more
This place was huge! They had a cute little area for you to sit outdoors and quite a bit of space indoors. There was quite a bit to look at coming in, but this Starbucks makes you feel like you're in a coffee bean factory! They even had this cool machine that pumps or grinds coffee beans! They have three different cashier locations, one for ordering in, one for the bakery and the other for the souvenirs or merch. There was quite a bit of seating when I got there but it was pretty late at night, about 8/9 PM. Even during this time, the Starbucks was pretty crowded. If you're going to buy merch and the ordering line is short, I suggest taking your order first and then waiting in line for the merch! That way your order is ready by the time you finish your merch shopping. Also, I wish I had more room to try the drinks and sweets. It didn't disappoint! At first I thought lemon-y flavor with coffee was weird, but oddly enough it was tasty! Good amount of roastiness with a sour touch. Who knew that would've gone so well together! The dessert was also really good. I like eating my desserts with fruit on them--makes me feel healthier lol Lastly customer service was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly, even so close to the end of the night. If it were me I would be so tired and grumpy haha. Overall would recommend checking this place out! read more
