No Matcha in the Frapp! Consistent issue!

Home of the palest Matcha Frappuccino you'll ever see. Not one to complain about much of anything, but this needs attention. I feel like I am getting swindled every time I buy one from the Pleasant Grove location. When I mention it to the staff, they will politely remake it, but charge extra to put an extra scoop of matcha powder in it. I am often temped to show the what a Matcha Frapp from any other location looks like, but I don't think they will do anything to change. Pictures are worth a thousand words. This image is not doctored in any way and I even held it next to a white wall to provide the greatest contrast. Major disappointment and not worth the money.

a cup of coffee on a table

The drink tasted great, but when I'm missing 1/3 of it, thats upsetting. If we're paying for anything in the food or drink industry, you should be able to get the whole product not just what they could fill.

Iced Guava Passionfruit??? Where is the coconut milk???
    Angie D.

Ordered a Iced Guava passionfruit with light ice...not whatever this is They obviously forgot the coconut milk so what else did they forget because it taste horrible--like a week bitter cool-aide kind of taste. And it has a lot of ice so even if I wanted to try & choke it down it is to cold on my teeth. I am not even sure if I should be upset over the fact that it is in a a Tall cup & not a Grande, less to dump out I guess.

Poor customer service. Oatmeal not hot and oats were raw. Too much half and half inside. (Asked for cream) No almonds were included.

The vibe when you walk in is super cool, and the employees are always friendly. They give great recommendations, and sometimes they'll even make their own favorite drink that's not on the menu. It's definitely a busy spot, there are always people there, even on weekdays with WFH people working at the tables. Weekends (and even Sundays) get pretty packed, but it makes sense. Their coffee is always solid and the food is good for a coffee shop. My go-to drinks are the Smilin' Hawaiian or the caramel blondie. For food, I love their breakfast BAE (bacon, avocado, egg) sandwich on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, so good! Just make sure they've got ripe avocados because that makes all the difference

It was so packed inside, I've never seen that many people in a coffee shop. It took me about 15 minutes to finally find a spot at a table and luckily only a couple of people showed up to meet. We had a really great time though and the vibes are so good here. Everyone I interacted with from customers to the baristas were awesome. I ordered a tea called katara and it was amazing. It was kind of fruity, but just so full of flavor and didn't taste watered down at all. Once it was ready they brought it out which was impressive because of how busy it was, they still kept track of where I was which I appreciated. Overall, good vibes, good drinks, and great baristas.

If you're planning to dine there, make sure you don't have any pressing commitments afterward. On both of our visits, we spent an extraordinary amount of time simply waiting to be acknowledged. During our most recent visit, our group sat at a table right in the middle of the restaurant and could have driven all the way to the Draper location in the time it took for a server to notice we were there. We initially assumed the experience was a one-time issue, so we gave the American Fork location a second chance a few months later. Unfortunately, it was almost identical to the first visit. The pace of service was painfully S...L...O...W... The time from when we sat down until we got the special priviledge of actually ordering: 25 minutes! In contrast, the Draper location has consistently been a much better experience and appears to be managed far more efficiently. I'm glad they've expanded into American Fork, and the food certainly makes the restaurant worth visiting. I just hope they can improve their service processes so customers can enjoy a great meal without needing to set aside half their day to do it.

We stopped for coffee today just trying to get through another day, and the barista who took our payment and handed us our order kindly asked what fun plans we had. I simply said, "Please pray." Without hesitation, she told us she would pray for our daughter and for our family. That moment meant more than she probably realizes. In the middle of doctor appointments, uncertainty, and long days, her compassion brought us hope and comfort. It was more than customer service -- it was genuine kindness, empathy, and love. We walked away feeling seen and cared about, not just as customers, but as people. I truly hope her manager and team know what an incredible person they have.
