Starbucks on Perris blvd has been known for its professionalism and customer service for many years now. My family has always had good experiences here. Recently, we came in an hour before closing after a long trip and the baristas were super friendly. No one felt rushed and customers thankfully got the courtesy memo. I don't like keeping people hostage at their job, so I was happy people weren't dragging their feet. Everyone ordered and left. I tried a madeleine cookie and paired it with a tall mocha frappe. Everything was amazing and I had a nice little caffeine kick. The shop was clean, organized, and well-lit. Worse coffee ever wrong order in food super busy employees are so slow to greet and take your order

The one guy must be getting paid heavy amount of money to be taking his job so seriously in order to fulfill Starbucks 100% policy. I mean that sarcastically of course, he was quick to kick us out just for waiting for a friend. So much for a safe public space. We eventually left because we felt super uncomfortable. Definitely would not want to order anything from him considering he had the attitude "buy something or get out" after just sitting down for two minutes. This location is across the street from my work and I'm constantly here picking up coworkers (and my own) orders! But today the baristas were so sweet I couldn't decide between hot or cold drink so they suggested cold, but made me a tiny hot drink as well just in case I didn't like their recommendation and I really appreciated that because I ended up liking the hot one they made better than the cold! I usually don't write negative reviews because there are too many reasons that maybe it was just an off day .... BUT not with this Starbucks location. We've tried this one several times and I won't go back after today. Pros- easy access off freeway Cons- Went to the mobile pickup area after getting alerted my order was ready. Stood there for about 8 mins - there were about 13 drinks with the labels all turned inward and too far over to the barista area to grab. Finally I reach for the ones that look like my order so I can turn the label my way - I get two out of the four ordered - then the barista girl catches me and apparently I wasn't supposed to grab my own drinks . I go to reach for the third & fourth and she checks the name on the cups and sharply says it's not ready. Wait for another 8 minutes before reaching over to check the last ones that look like my order & sure enough they were mine. I guess she wasn't happy that I got my own drinks and lied that that last one wasn't mine & purposely turned the label away so I'd have to wait even longer. Geez - I understand if you're busy, but that's no reason to be rude to the people supporting the business. I also work at a coffee house and we never treat our customers this way . Save yourself the headache and skip to the next Starbucks , I know I wish I would have seen the other reviews of baristas gatekeeping drinks at this location. read more

Literally, the most non-hospitable experience ever. I patronize Starbucks in my neighborhood almost daily. Today, I got off work needed to kill about an hour and work on some work for school and I thought Starbucks would be a pretty welcoming place. I sat down. I started typing clearly in my work attire, you can see I am a professional and the manager walks over and gives me a sample and informs me thats if I don't make a purchase, I need to leave. He literally stated I'm not allowed to hang out in his lobby. If I don't make a purchase, the offense comes with the term that he used which is hangout which he chose clearly because I'm black. I was completing work not hanging out. I was highly offended. I'm just starting to see that the service that I get from Starbucks totally depends on the area that it's in. if you're in a more prominent area, the people are nicer but when you're in a less prominent area, they don't see you as a person they see you as a dollar sign. There was a lot of items out of stock and so I selected a Lemonade drink. I enjoyed the calm store. The other employees were welcoming to each guests in store. I came into this location to do some work. I was in here for quite sometime without placing an order. At the time I wasn't ready to place one (doesn't mean I wasn't going to). Well a male employee that seems to wear a beanie (the many times I've come he always has one) came up to my table and rudely asked if we were going to place an order, I said yes and he walked away. He could've approached the table more politely. My concern is if I would've said no, would he have asked me to leave? Is it no longer ok to just sit in an establishment without having to order something? Especially if you're not being rude or causing trouble. Before writing this review I want to add that it's not like me to leave a bad review, but I felt it very necessary in this case. This used to be my to go to Starbucks spot for years. I've stopped by a few times and Everytime it takes such a long time to get my drinks. The staff is very rude, loud, they talk back so much to their customers. I observe and honestly I've never had such a bad experience as I do now with the staff that's there. I didn't see her name but I believe she's the shift manager and there is also Christina. Christina was talking back to an older man. He was not being rude to her at all. He was just asking for his water because he had been waiting a while for it. I think it's very important for management to really pay attention to the staff they are hiring. Customer service is so important. That is why I now love going to Starbucks on citrus in Perris. If I could give this place zero stars I would! The supervisor Albert and everyone he worked with tonight were completely rude and disrespectful and had no care for their customers. We ordered 3 drinks and it took 25 minutes to get 2 of the drinks and when I asked how long the last one was going to take they said another 30 minutes. Others were walking out asking for their money back and I did the same. Albert did not care nor was apologetic at all. He said you can have your money back and leave. I've been going to this Starbucks for quite some time, and always get the same thing every morning at 5am. Seems they get annoyed when you ask for it to be done a certain way. I asked for extra Carmel on bottom and she says," i did put extra on bottom" very rudely. And when I got my coffee it was ALL Carmel and 3 shots and foam... no coffee, no ice, you can imagine what it tasted like!! I had to throw an eleven dollar coffee out my window. I usually don't write reviews, but this Starbucks is underrated by so many lame ass customers! Y'all messing with the reputation of a genuinely good Starbucks. Something is up with the folks in the neighborhood. In fact, yesterday as I was sippin and getting my hot drank on, this drunk ass customer creeped up to my face. SO RANDOM. Management had to intervene and asked if I knew her... I was like UHHHH NO. The kind manager told this creepy person that I was feeling uncomfortable and kindly escorted her the fugg out. The manager still wished her a lovely day. Honest Abe would've been like "GTFO and stay out." As far as this particular Starbucks goes, the workers are sweet, and the food and drinks are excellent. Although sometimes they'll run out of almond croissants (Abe's favorite!), that could happen at any starbucks. No need to rate 1 star for it. Overall, I come here at least 3 times a week, and this place is great. Oh and just FYI, their WiFi speeds are definitely faster than the other Starbuck location around the block.
