The Starbucks in Universal's CityWalk came in clutch! This trip, I forgot to pack a bottle for water & I was already feeling parched before we even entered the park LOL. Decided since it was early still, that we had some time to spare to order some starbies! Line was not long at all & honestly moved pretty fast. We ordered two mango dragonfruit refreshers & 3 double smoked sandwiches (my absolute favorite). Our order was prepared within minutes and everything was made perfectly! I know for the sandwiches, they just heat it up BUT OMG... the double smoked is hands down the best sandwich from Starbucks, so good! Located within Universal CityWalk Orlando Because of its popular location this Starbucks is spacious and huge with a sizable outdoor seating capable of serving a large crowd for guests at the Universal Studios. I got in line around 9:00a and there were a lot of people already. It went fast because all registers were open to take orders. I can't remember how many there were... maybe around 3 (or 4). Our drink orders were ready in a decent amount of time and the older gentleman who called out the names had a nice loud voice that spoke over even the noisiest of crowd. Shortly after he called my name again for our sandwiches. Good services on both ends -- the ordering part and the completed. Expect a wait. But what new!? This is the case with any Starbucks. To be so busy they do get the line moving and orders out. Inside and outside seating. You stand in the line and place your order then move over to the large pickup area to get your drink and food. Staff is friendly and they keep the tables clean. They even have Universal Studios and Citywalk themed Starbucks tumblers!!! We stopped in for breakfast and drinks before heading into IOA. We all know what to expect when it comes to Starbucks, and this location did a fine job of meeting those expectations. We came to CityWalk for a four course, progressive meal. We played Rock Paper Scissors for Drinks, Appetizers, Dinner, and Dessert. Our 13 year old won Drinks and selected Starbucks. We each ordered something brand new: my husband had the Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso, my son had the Strawberry Acai Lemonade Refresher, and I had the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. We wanted to keep it late for the culinary festivities before us. More importantly, we all loved our drinks and would definitely get them again. The store wasn't at all busy. We ordered immediately, and our drinks were ready quickly. Staff was polite and friendly, and everyone wore masks. The inside tables were clean, but we preferred to sit outside to enjoy. This starbucks was not the best. The employees were nice, but the drinks were terrible. They were so stingy with the whipped cream, the cold foam, and the boba in the summer berry refresher. The caramel macchiato was extremely bitter, they accidentally gave my brother a tall instead of a grande, and when we asked for them to fix it, they just poured it into a grande cup and added more ice.. I would understand if it was busy, but there was barely any people in this starbucks. Do better!! read more

As part of our morning walk, we are at the Citywalk Starbucks on a regular basis. The staff that we have met are great and the speed is usually pretty good. This is definitely a HIGH volume Starbucks so there are times they can get slow. Compared to the reviews of tired cranky people, sleeping in hotel rooms smaller then their master bath,  with the kids in a hurry and the chaos of vacation making them hypersensitive... I am a regular and can say that hey are a great crew. My review is based on several visits and watching them handle the people I mentioned above. I wouldn't wish that job on anyone. I'm deaf in one ear and was having a hard time hearing the barista taking my order and when I told him he started to sign a little which really helped and I really appreciate him for that. Visited this Starbucks quiet a bit for the 5 days I was in Universal, and at times it was very busy, which not surprised, given it is the first Starbucks walking into City Walk/Universal or the last one, depending which direction you're coming from. Giving this place 5 stars, because of the fact that they would have every right to be behind on order with the constant flow of people, but in my opinion, they were made in an adequate amount of time, the people at the register and making drinks were nice, and store was clean. read more

This has to be one of the largest volume stores I've seen outside of NYC. It runs like a well oiled machine and gets you out the door faster than most. The shop itself is very clean and well maintained. The only issue I have is the fact that you cannot use your rewards here. Ciao. read more

Pretty fun location! You would expect this place to be crazy and have long wait times and that is definitely not the case! We could not mobile order via the Starbucks app, so I was a little worried about wasting valuable park time waiting for coffee. Definitely try whatever "special" drink they have, which is usually posted on a little chalkboard when you walk in. On this most recent visit, it was a "Frankenstein's Monster-inspired drink" (cold brew, chocolate, a matcha green foam, with chocolate drizzle. Service was pretty fast, considering how busy they were. The inside is also quite large and is able to easily accommodate crowds. The staff here was also very friendly. read more

Being a huge fan of Starbucks, I also stop their first on Universal Adventures. The line always looks so very long, I almost get discouraged. Then I remember they have no drive thru, it is the fastest barista service ever! My favorite go to is a Vanilla Mocha. Essentially a hot chocolate with 2 shots of espresso!! They also accept annual pass discounts. Of course they offer their bakery menu and cake pops. Sometimes they will have special cute Universal pops made up, and special Universal Starbucks merchandise. Great ending for a Universal day as well!! read more

Terrible experience: we wanted to use the dining plan to get coffee and were hoping it would apply to at least several options of drinks if not anything like at WDW but after waiting in the long line found out that we couldn't use it anything except a small iced or hot coffee or small hot cocoa. The employee was very unfriendly, I said hi but she sort of just stared in silence very awkward. She wasn't happy that we didn't know what was included with the plan but really felt like we should have been upset. There was little or no effort to provide even an adequate experience here. You can't expect much from a tourist infested Starbucks. We were waiting for our table at Bubba Gump and I needed a drink, so we came in to kill time and my thirst. The line was roped off like a roller coaster queue so I expected it to be a while. We moved pretty quick and I was able to order. The part that took the longest was getting my drink. I only ordered a tall Mocha with coconut milk and it took 7 minutes. The drink was made to perfection, though. That's really the main concern. DISGUSTING AND DISCRIMINATORY!!!!! I am astounded by the way my husband was treated. There was no humanity found in this Starbucks. Never have I seen such an animalistic display of aggression before like this. On the counter was a container of iced water beside it were small plastic cups. My husband knowing the Starbucks company for offering complimentary water he proceeded to serve himself. A young lady with brunette hair and black glasses yanked the cup from his hand and yelled at him. "You are not allowed to touch that! Now I have to disinfect it" she then threw out his cup of water and moved the container of water. A woman walked up to him and said "I just served myself water and no one said anything " I requested the number to complain and the manager himself didn't care either. Horrible service!!!! Wow this place is busier than Times Square! This Starbucks at Universal I think has 4 barista stations so they are definitely high capacity. Food service is good but all coming from the back so it might be a little slow. Ordered coffee at about 10:30pm and they had none brewed, which sounds kind of odd. They had to do a pour-over, but it was fine. I think on a hot summer day people are looking for cold drinks, and they do a great job getting those out. Lots of space inside and out for relaxing, and the place was pretty spotless. A great place for both an evening treat or breakfast. read more

The staff here is friendly and made a lot of Harry Potter references, which I have to say I appreciate. Very outgoing and went the extra step to recommend different pastries to us. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was we were waiting there for our warmed up items for at least 5 minutes before they were actually handed to us. We actually had to ask if they were ours because they were on the counter and no one was laying any attention to them. Since this is on City Walk right outside of Universal Studios, I could see it getting very busy, and things like this (not paying attention) could happen more often, or maybe they'd be more on point because there are so many customers waiting. We came in a Tuesday afternoon so there wasn't hardly anyone in there, and you would think the service would be pretty quick. Visited here on one of their busy nights for Halloween Horror Nights. They were busy and the line for ordering went rather fast. The staff was friendly and I got it correct. The wait after ordering was a little long and they seemed a little scattered. It took about 15 minutes as the orders were stacked up and they did not have enough people preparing the orders. When I requested it be added to the drink I was told they would charge me for it. I had already paid for the add-on and it was clearly not in the drink. Paid for the add-on again so my drink would be right (I think that brought my total to about 8.50). I didn't appreciate the attitude of the woman ringing me back up, and two other cashiers were laughing for some reason. I was very friendly as I realize this is a high volume store but some of the employees were not reciprocal of that. Perhaps they need more staff at this location during peak hours. Located right at the entrance to Universal City Walk. Setup is perfect for dealing with long lines. This is one of the few places at City Walk that is open early. If you need to grab a bite to eat before going into the parks you might want to stop in here. Line was long, but wait time was short. They really know how to expedite orders to get you on you way. I wouldn't be discouraged from stopping in even if it looks like it might take forever. Store was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Not my favorite Starbucks. The line moves quick but each and EVERY time I've been there they've missed something on my order. I don't know what happens after the order is placed but its always utter chaos back there. People just throwing cups around, making a drink here and there and basically splitting up orders. I always get like the first and third drink off my order and then the second one is MIA. So they always make it for me after the fact but come on. Consistently this way? Crazy. I am a sucker for my coffee so I still put myself through it because I don't have much of a choice but they need to get their act together back there. In some states places that serve food have to pass health inspections. I am guessing that Florida is not one of them. This place is dirty. There was coffee spills all over the stand where you get napkins and condiments, the staff was not really paying attention to customers (I counted two screwed up orders while I waited for mine) and the counter where you pick your drink up had a layer of grime on it. I ordered a green tea latte with extra matcha, and I swear this just tasted like milk. Now my one-star review wasn't for the bad drink, it was mainly the way the staff handled it. As a former Starbucks barista, I understand not everything is perfect, but as I addressed my concern about my drink, they said they were going to charge me to make a new one. I remember my time learning the Starbucks barista promise, "Love your beverage or let us know. We'll always make it right", but I guess it doesn't apply here. Nothing was made right here. My dad needed his morning coffee and I needed caffeine for a bit of a migraine. We could tell from the outside that they were slammed. It was right after the park opened so everyone and their grandmother was there. I'm sure the building was over capacity just from the line. They were super friendly and even though there was a massive horde of people they patiently took orders and cranked out drinks with a realatively fast pace. I waited for my drink with next to a couple of adorable Christmas doodles. Next to about 20 other people who were waiting for theirs too. The baristas would sing people's names out and all of the people waiting would do it right back until the drink was collected. It was entertaining and they got our drinks perfect. My peppermint mocha was the right temp and just as delicious as any other Starbucks. The markup wasnt that high either given it is inside of the park. The whole affair took about 10 minutes. I was pretty pleased with that given how long some of the theme park rides get. read more
